Airlines' mask mandates may soon be REINSTATED
as DOJ appeals ruling by Trump-appointed
judge that struck down face covering requirement
on public transportation

Those flying throughout the United States may soon have to put their masks back on, as the Department of Justice has filed an appeal of an April decision that ended the unpopular mask mandate on planes and public transit. The Centers for Disease Control had first implemented the mandate in February 2021 amid rising COVID cases, but as the number of cases started to drastically decline the mandate became unpopular among both passengers and crew members. In fact, during a Senate hearing about the financial support airlines received in 2020 and 2021, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker and Southwest CEO Gary Kelly spoke out against the mandate.

Comments:

Michael Sussman and Hillary Clinton can break any laws they like, at will. The disgusting rabble, on the other hand, will obey the diktats, no matter how absurd, and they will like it.

Passengers should be given the option of wearing a mask or carrying a lucky rabbits foot. Both are equally effective in preventing the spread of viruses.

Democrats must control the great unwashed masses. They can’t allow them to get all uppity and refuse the diktats of their illegitimate overlords. Masks do not stop the virus. They do, however, indicate who are the submissive among us. They also give the virtue signaling orcs an excuse to harass people who understand this is a means of control. Just sit tight. Fuel prices are going to force the average Joe to stay home anyway.

I see this as an attempt to put airlines out of business for green new deal - reduce fossil fuel usage and to control our range of travel. Only elites will fly in their private jets while we bumble along one charging station to the next in electric vehicles.

The DOJ's involvement provides (unwitting) proof that this is strictly about government tyranny. They refuse to take a loss. They may find that the greatest uproar will come from airline and airport employees who had to wear the damn things every single day and, in the end, were the most vocal about disliking masks. As others have noted, the most bizarre aspect is that this is dogged pursuit of something completely futile in disease control. And now numerous studies are actually proving that mask use for any purpose is deleterious to health.

People who feel safer wearing a Mask wherever they go can wear one. Nobody is stopping Them. Every so often I see ONE in the Grocery store or a Restaurant, but that's about it it. People are over COVID! More and more information comes out every day stating the Vaccines hurt us as much as they helped (for 30 days). I am not going to get any more Boosters and neither are many of my Friends. Here in Florida we never did have a Mask Mandate, so we're not used to wearing them when we travel. I'm going to hate it if they mandate them again on Airplanes. Even Cruise Ships have dropped the Mandate!

there has never been a time in our history that the federal government is actively working to harm the people of this country and their opportunity opening was when the worst possible candidate in the demcommie party was illegitimately elected to the office of president. he campaigned from his home (in his basement, studio) and only rarely ventured out to be seen or heard by the miniscule numbers of people allegedly enthusiastically seeking his election. how have we come so far down the cultural and ethical ladder that this kind of political disaster occurred?

The airlines should inform the government that federal air marshals and/or federal police agents will be required on all planes to enforce the governments rules. The airline flight attendants should NEVER have been compelled to become the government's policemen in the skies. The airlines need to get serious about this or the US government (the single largest threat to freedom atm) is going to put them out of business all in the name of "climate change" ... but the truth is simply the needed control of the populace for the elites' tyrannical plan to turn us all into serfs once again.

The DOJ whats to get on the power trip of imposing mandates on the general public. It doesn’t matter that the masks available to the general public have been proven worthless in protecting against Covid. The Democrats need to create a health crisis to justify suspending the voting rules that prevent fraudulent ballots. That is the only way they have a well diggers chance of surviving the midterm election.

Calling the fattest category of people 'morbidly' obese is offensive, woke researchers said today. And they urged doctors and scientists to stop referring to unsuccessful attempts to lose weight as 'failures'. Terms used moving forward should include 'ineffective' or 'insufficient' weight loss, or even 'secondary weight regain'. No specific suggestions were given to replace the phrase 'morbid', however severe is often used instead. Critics today slammed the recommendation, published in a leading obesity journal, saying it was 'odd' given morbid obesity is a clinical term. But industry experts agreed that 'less stigmatising' language was crucial in the battle against the bulge, saying 'words truly do matter'.
