A neighbor of Texas elementary school gunman Salvador Ramos has recalled seeing the teen's grandmother run out of her home covered in blood after she was shot in the face by her own grandson. Gilberto Gallegos, 82, lives across the street from Celia Gonzales, 66, who was shot by Ramos last Tuesday moments before he opened fire at an Uvalde elementary school, killing 19 students and two teachers. Speaking to DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview, Gallegos revealed he had been gardening with wife Maria, 76, in their front yard when they suddenly heard gunshots ring out from Gonzales's home.

Big takeaway for me: "'Soon after [we heard] gunshots, Ramos ran out of the house carrying some bags and jumped into his grandmother's truck,' Gallegos said.
'I thought it was strange because he doesn't know how to drive.' "
An 18-year-old who doesn't know how to drive? But he can buy two $2,000+ AR-15s? What did he use for identification, some kind of "proof of identification" card? All these facts, along with his youthful age, make one wonder why questions were not raised when he showed up to buy the guns at this small-town gun shop, and why grandma didn't have the kid committed--somehow. He was a ticking time bomb. Had he been refused his purchase at the gun store, he would have shown up with some other weapon, like the propane tanks used by the Columbine sickos 23 years ago.

Granny should not have let little Salvador be a parasite in her home. His parents didn't want him, that should have been her first clue.

I read yesterday the gun shop is somehow related to the cartel. Maybe they didn't check ID.

In TEXAS?? That means not being able to go ANYWHERE. Travel Distance there is not measured in minutes, but by how much of your gas tank is used.(When I was his age we measured it in how many beers a drive took, Uvalde was a 4 beer drive from San Marcos. It was legal to drink while driving in those days, drive through beer depots...just not be drunk and drive)
That also means someone drove him to pick up the guns, pick up the ammo. at least three separate trips.Who?

I read a couple of days ago, that the grandmother lost her ability to speak as a result of being shot in the face. Now this story states she ran to a neighbor and said, "Look what he did to me." So, what's the real story? Where did this kid get the money to buy these guns and 1600 rounds of ammo? From the video, it doesn't appear he's carrying a heavy load like that.

It looked like the pick-up truck in question was an almost new Ford F-150 that are not sold cheap. But it does not appear that the owner of that truck, said to be Ramos’s grandmother was gainfully employed? So where did she get the money to purchase that truck? If the grandmother owned that truck, you would think that in a normal grandmother-grandson relationship that the grandmother would have taught her 18 year old grandson, who lived in her home, how to drive, as reportedly Ramos did not have any learner or regular sort of Texas drivers license. Without having a motor vehicle or a drivers license in a small Texas border town, without any close friends, it is obvious that except by way of the Internet he was completely isolated from modern reality.
As an 18 year old part-time employee at a local fast food restaurant, where did Ramos get the 4-5 thousand dollars to purchase his two rifles, his handgun, the thousands of rounds of rifle ammunition, and up to sixty rifle magazines, that he obviously intended to use to shoot up the elementary school, knowing that that those homicidal crimes having to know that his crimes would end up for him in a suicide by cop? situation?

RE #4, not likely. One case of a bad sale and they are permanently out of business. The "cartel connection" was BATF BS, from what I can tell.
