The Left prides itself on being the side of logic, reason, and science, painting anyone who disagrees with them as irrational and denying the truths revealed by science. Yet every day their actions seem to belie these claims as they promote positions that are contrary to fact, or attempt actions that have no possibility of working. If they are so logical and science-based, these things raise the question of why?

The Biden administration has tethered federal school lunch funding to compliance with gender identity ideology, including whether a school allows boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms. The move comes as the Biden administration is using heavy-handed measures to enshrine gender ideology into federal law. Biden’s Department of Agriculture announced earlier this month that in order for schools to receive funds for student lunches, breakfasts, and other food items, it must comply with its interpretation of the ban on discrimination based on sex in Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other food-related programs, which includes sexual orientation and gender identity.

A once-promising fight against COVID-19 took a downward turn in mid-2021 as variants surged and producers struggled to shake off the pandemic and meet the demand for products. People who saved money or received federal payments continued to spend on goods instead of services, trips, conferences and other events, exacerbating the problem. According to the Associated Press, the report is set to include such propositions as expanding voter registration, further restrictions on police and harsher punishments for individual officers, and making improvements to black neighborhoods. It will also recommend the creation of a new office that would help black Californians prove their lineage to determine if they were descended from slaves, at which point they would be eligible for financial compensation.

Kevin Clinesmith must feel like an idiot for pleading guilty without a trial after a D.C.-area jury acquitted Clinton co-conspirator Michael Sussman for his role in the plot to frame Donald Trump for colluding with the Russians, supposedly to steal the 2016 election. Sussman’s D.C.-based jury which featured partisan Democrat donors rendered a quick “not-guilty” verdict. While the Left undoubtedly sees the acquittal as another “lawfare” victory against the bad orange man, that victory did not come without cost to its enabling allies.
