It apparently has to be said that testing positive for COVID is not in itself newsworthy. In particular if the person has received a vaccine, which Kavanaugh purportedly has. As of Friday, he hasn’t been hospitalized. He’s not even showing any symptoms, according to a spokeswoman for the court. So, again, who cares?
