Two of Donald Trump’s favored banks are pulling away from the billionaire president in the wake of last week’s deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Deutsche Bank AG has decided to refrain from further business with Trump and his company, said a person with knowledge of the matter, asking not to be identified because the deliberations were confidential. Trump owes the Frankfurt-based lender more than $300 million. And Signature Bank, the New York lender that’s long catered to his family, said it’s cutting ties while it presses for his resignation. Signature is closing two personal accounts in which Trump held about $5.3 million,

San Francisco—Cloud software giant Salesforce says it has “taken action” against the Republican National Committee to prevent it from sending fundraising emails that claim election fraud and contain inflammatory language that could lead to additional political violence. Since election day, the RNC has been sending out hundreds of emails using Salesforce-owned email marketing firm ExactTarget to subscribers saying that Democrats stole the election and that Congress needs to overturn the results of the election won by President-elect Joe Biden. Referring to the rioting at the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday, a Salesforce spokesperson said in a prepared statement, “We are all deeply troubled

President Trump acknowledged that he bears some blame for the Capitol riot last week during a conversation with House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, a source familiar told Fox News. Two sources say McCarthy R-Calif., relayed the president’s sentiment on a call Monday with the House GOP Conference.
McCarthy, on the call Monday with Republicans, agreed that Trump bore blame for the unrest which sent Congress into lockdown as they tried to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election last week.
The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The riot left five people dead, including one Capitol Police officer.

With Democrats soon to control the White House and Congress, Gov. Andrew Cuomo ratcheted up pressure Monday on President-elect Joe Biden to deliver billions in aid that would help New York state’s cash-strapped government dig out from the coronavirus-fueled recession after he takes office. During his 11th annual State of the State address, which was heavy on rhetoric and light on specifics, Cuomo threw down the gauntlet for his fellow Democrats who will be running DC—even invoking the New York City fiscal crisis of the 1970s, when Washington and President Gerald Ford were accused of leaving a teetering Big Apple in the lurch.

As rioters were gathering around the US Capitol last Wednesday, a familiar question began to echo around the offices of the large social networks: what should they do about Donald Trump and his provocative posts?
The answer has been emphatic: ban him.
First he was suspended from Twitter, then from Facebook. Snapchat, Spotify, Twitch, Shopify, and Stripe have all followed suit, while Reddit, TikTok, YouTube and even Pinterest announced new restrictions on posting in support of the president or his actions.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel considers it “problematic” that Twitter would toss President Trump off its social media platform, saying through a spokesman Monday that the president’s ability to express his opinion is a fundamental right of “elementary significance.”
“This fundamental right can be intervened in, but according to the law and within the framework defined by legislators — not according to a decision by the management of social media platforms,” Merkel spokesman Steffen Seibert told reporters in Berlin.

Where was this 60 Minutes before the 2020 presidential election? On Sunday, co-host Lesley Stahl grilled Nancy Pelosi, telling the House Speaker that she has no “mandate” on policy and hitting the Democrat for failing to compromise with Republicans. Stahl even brought up Pelosi’s obstruction of the COVID relief bill. In contrast, in a big pre-election 60 Minutes, this same woman said that Joe Biden was "not" part of any controversy related to his son Hunter.
On Sunday, Stahl used the famous “someone says” line, often an excuse to tout Democratic talking points, against Pelosi. She hammered

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is telling his supporters to stop blaming left-wing activists for the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Patrick, one of President Donald Trump’s most important allies in Texas, told supporters in a lengthy message over the weekend that the people involved in storming the Capitol were Trump supporters. Some in the conservative world have tried to claim it was left-wing activists who were parading at Trump supporters. “There are no excuses for those who stormed the Capitol on Wednesday,” Patrick said. “Five people died. And, sadly, it appears that most of the protesters inside the Capitol were Trump supporters.”

Today when censorship is being advocated to counter ‘disinformation’ or the ‘Big Lie’ it may be time to remember John Walker, the man who anticipated way back in 2003 that a digital imprimatur would be required to say anything substantial online. The 2020 election was very much about who controlled the information and who got to tell the story. The Capitol “Riots” were no different. It’s hard to gauge how many people were truly there for the rally and event that day, in part because the mainstream media outlets would never want to give accurate totals for those numbers. It’s doubtful the scene or event would have made that much of a blip on the news radar that day if the events at the Capitol Building did not take place. Prior to that, CNN and others had little interest in explaining how a “losing” President presided over one of

Cumulus Media, which employs some of the most popular right-leaning talk-radio hosts in the United States, has told its on-air personalities to stop suggesting that the election was stolen from President Donald Trump - or else face termination. A Cumulus executive issued the directive on Wednesday, just as Congress met to certify Joe Biden's election victory and an angry mob of Trump supporters marched on the Capitol, overwhelmed police and briefly occupied the building, terrorizing lawmakers and leading to the deaths of five people.

Let’s be perfectly clear, fellow conservatives. 2021 started off on a poor note.
Two hazardously progressive lawmakers are headed to the United State Senate to give the Democrats a slim majority. Minimizing this reality will not furnish a beneficial outcome, nor will submitting to the notion that the left is not actually serious about their espoused platform. That platform includes providing a pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants; repealing economy-stimulating tax cuts; moving forward with public-option healthcare; eliminating the filibuster; conferring statehood on Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico; and packing the highest court in the land with progressive judges.

GOP Rep Matt Gaetz (R-FL) dropped a bomb during an interview on Fox News. He said that not only will President Trump not resign but even after Biden is inaugurated he will still be on the public stage. (Tweet/Video) This is why the left and Mainstream Press want to impeach him. They know that President Trump is not giving up and that he plans on running again in 2024. They know that President Trump still has a ton of support all across the country. They are scared he will run and win in 2024.
This matches up with our recent reporting that President Trump is planning a “defiant” final days

For those who missed it yesterday when it was circulating on social media, here’s what “back the blue” meant to some of the cretins who descended on the Capitol last Wednesday. I don’t know for a fact that the cop being attacked is Officer Sicknick but I’d be amazed if the person who took this beating survived it. The chanting of “USA!” while the mob unleashes is the sort of too-sinister dystopian flourish that would make you roll your eyes if it were fiction. As would the fact that the president whose fans did this refused to lower the flags at the White House to half-staff

The pilots of the Indonesian airliner that plunged into the sea off Jakarta with 62 people aboard did not declare an emergency or report technical problems before the Boeing 737-500 went down, according to a report. National Transportation Safety Committee investigator Nurcahyo Utomo said recordings of conversations between the crew of the Sriwijaya Air flight bound for Pontianak and air traffic control were routine. “It’s like a normal conversation and nothing suspicious,” he told Agence France-Presse. “There’s no talk of an emergency or something like that.” Preliminary data suggest it was “most likely” that the jet was intact when it hit the water

You knew this was coming. Democrats are planning to censure Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) in the coming days for challenging the stolen 2020 election. Democrats want to pin the rioting in the US Capitol by Trump supporters and Antifa on the Republican lawmakers who Had Nothing To Do With It! This is how a tyrannical government behaves. Democrats have all the power and they are going to use it to punish anyone who stands in their way.

President-elect Biden intends to release nearly every available dose of Wuhan coronavirus vaccine to the states. This is a reversal of President Trump’s policy, which was to hold back doses of the vaccine to make sure there is enough for people who receive a first shot to get a second one within the recommended period (21 days or 28 days, depending on the vaccine in question).
Is this a good idea? I don’t know. I doubt that anyone knows.
I do believe strongly that there is a moral obligation to provide a second dose of the vaccine within the recommended time period

Enough! Enough of the gaslighting by the press. Enough of the gaslighting by the party of slavery, Jim Crow, the KKK, want, deprivation, envy and murder of the unborn in the womb. What is even more egregious, these lies have already become, “common knowledge.” Her Majesty and I attended church yesterday, which we do every Sunday that she manages to pry my fat fundament out of bed. As part of the warm up to the sermon, one of our Associate Pastors offered a few thoughts,

The proper conservative response to last Wednesday’s violent entry into the Capitol and vandalism, as well as assaults on law-enforcement, is to identify the guilty parties and ensure they are arrested.Such deterrence will prevent any future devolution from legal popular protests into thuggery. No constitutional republic can tolerate its iconic heart stormed, breached, and defiled.
Is Some Violence Worse than Others?Of course, there is no such thing as “good” or “acceptable” violence of either Trump supporters or of the Antifa and BLM sort.Yet the latter were largely exempt from any consequences for most of the summer—despite Joe Biden’s demagogic implication that the now multibillion-dollar funded BLM was treated harshly

These entities are making Trump into an example of their power to frighten the half of America that supported him in November. Last week’s Senate runoff elections in Georgia gave the Democrats full control of the federal governing apparatus. America is now a one-party state, and the Californication of the country will soon begin. But there’s one man who can slow it down if not stop it, at least for a while: Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin.
The West Virginian could erase the Democrats’ de facto Senate majority (the Democratic vice president is the tie-breaker in the 50-50 chamber) simply by changing parties. This is no radical suggestion. Manchin is the most conservative Democrat in the Senate, if not all of Washington, and

Americans are expected to be aghast at the events in Washington, D.C. on January 6. A vicious mob of revolutionary Trump supporters, we are told, swarmed the nation’s capital and, in an act of insurrection, unlawfully entered the hallowed halls of Congress. Unlike the “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” that were reported over the summer, the media have been quick to claim that this was not a “mostly peaceful” protest (despite the protestors being, by any estimation, mostly peaceful), but the entire event is being categorized as a bona fide riot that had been fueled by Donald Trump’s irresponsible and untruthful rhetoric.

Time to get out the ledger.
On the left––literally––we have had nearly eight months of rampaging criminality and violence in the many Democrat-controlled cities in our country, all conducted by thugs belonging to groups called Black Lives Matter and Antifa. This is the short list of what they have done:
Committed widespread arson, including burning down hundreds of minority-owned businesses in the Latino, Asian and black communities (the black owners clearly didn’t matter);
Incinerated cars and burned down buildings, court houses, police stations, et al;
Shot laser beams in the eyes of policemen;
Assaulted civilians, resulting in 30 deaths and thousands of hospitalizations;

In 2020, Democrat riots caused billions of dollars in property damage, destroyed historic sites, and assaulted and murdered dozens of people. Meanwhile, on January 6, President Trump asked patriots to walk peacefully to the Capitol to cheer politicians who, copying Democrat, objected to Electoral College votes. Some hotheads (encouraged by Antifa plants?) entered the Capitol, as Democrat protesters have done many times before. This time, though, Democrats demand that Trump leave office immediately under the 25th Amendment or be impeached and that all Trump-supporting politicians across America be expelled from office.

During an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) invoked Watergate and former President Richard Nixon as she discussed her push to impeach President Donald Trump. This comes in the wake of last week’s riots in which a group of Trump’s supporters breached the U.S. Capitol.
Pelosi announced Sunday in a letter that the House of Representatives would move to impeach Trump just 10 days before his presidential term is over because he “represents an imminent threat” to “our Constitution and our Democracy.”

There was no revolution. There was no pro-Trump coup attempt. Everyone knows it.
A couple of crackpots who pranked at the Capitol are now being called a “revolution.” As if that crazy, painted-face shaman with the buffalo-horn hat was leading -- what are they calling it? Ah yes, an insurrection.
There was a call by millions of Americans for election integrity. It was met with “shoot to kill” behavior and then a great purge. It wasn’t a revolution; it was more like an ambush. No one is asking who gave the shoot-to-kill order or who gave the order to invite protesters into the Capitol building.

Well, so much for that whole unity thing. Democrats are out for blood, emboldened by the idiotic alt-right fools who rushed the Capitol last week, and they are seemingly going to play every card they have. Impeachment is already being talked about, perhaps even after Biden’s inauguration, in order to ban Trump from every holding office again. But if that wasn’t dumb enough, Nancy Pelosi is now looking at the 14th Amendment as a way to expel Republican members of the House for supposedly taking part in an “insurrection.”

Whether or not President Biden and gun czar Beto aim for a program of national gun confiscation, we should expect some sort of major crackdown against the Second Amendment and against our other liberties. The congressmen who ducked, covered, and cowered – in now iconic photos –

I don't have a problem with arresting people who break the law. I do have a huge problem with selective prosecution and enforcement.
When Black Lives Matter mobs besieged Washington D.C., attacked the White House, assaulted Secret Service members, vandalized national monuments, and set a church on fire, the Attorney General had to lean hard just to get the most basic arrests and prosecutions going. (It goes without saying that none of the rioters were fired.)
And the media played defense for the rioters and feigned outrage at criminalizing "protest".
By September, the DOJ had managed to charge just 300 rioters for taking part in the BLM violence nationwide.

I’m not sure which is my favorite aspect of this disgraceful and dangerous festival of bans, gagging, and silencing that the Establishment embarked upon last week after it finally discovered one kind of riot it didn’t approve of. Maybe it was the journalists cheering censorship. Maybe it was True Conservatives™ like that geek from National Review giving censorship a soft, girlish thumbs-up – perhaps if the libs shut down the competition then people will sign up for NR’s cruises again. Ahoy! Or maybe it was the ACLU trying to balance the realization that having corporations not totally control what people say is bad with the imperative that Orange Man Bad.

JPMorgan Chase said that it will pause all contributions from its political action committee for at least the next six months, saying 'the focus of business leaders, political leaders, civic leaders right now should be on governing and getting help to those who desperately need it most right now. Less than a week has passed since the Capitol riot, and the Democratic Party, the establishment media, and Big Tech now present it as axiomatic that President Donald Trump incited the mob for the purpose of preventing the electoral vote certification and, presumably, grabbing dictatorial powers. Republican Senators Pat Toomey and Lisa Murkowski have joined the calls for Trump either to resign or face a second impeachment, and even Ted Cruz has said that Trump’s rhetoric “certainly contributed to the violence that occurred.” But before the lynch mob gets the noose ready and hangs the president from the nearest tree, it would be useful to step back

In addition to the fact that Trump openly called for the “cheering on” of Congressman, and “peaceful” protests, the timeline as established from numerous, establishment media reports simply doesn’t stack up. The majority of working-class Trump supporters who traveled to DC last week were "repulsed" by Wednesday's riots that engulfed the Capitol in chaos and resulted in at least four deaths, conservative activist Charlie Kirk said Sunday. "The strength of the president's movement is about giving a voice to working people all across the country," Kirk told "The Next Revolution" host Steve Hilton on Sunday, "and I can tell you, working people who voted for the president were repulsed by what they saw. In fact, they were saddened." Kirk argued that Trump supporters gathered in the nation's capital to demand that lawmakers take various steps to preserve the integrity
