On Tuesday, Uganda punched back at Facebook and Twitter by banning them from the internet after the two companies started censoring Uganda officials ahead of the election in the country.
"We demand that @Facebook & @Twitter write directly to the individuals that lost their accounts. Since @Facebook cited @MoICT_Ug in their statement, let them write to us so that there’s a chance for a fair hearing. Accounts lost on Facebook belong to @GovUganda employees," tweeted Uganda Media Centre.
Check out what Reuters reported:
In a letter seen by Reuters to internet service providers dated Jan. 12, Uganda’s communications regulator ordered them to block all social media platforms and messaging apps

Enough! Enough of the gaslighting by the press. Enough of the gaslighting by the party of slavery, Jim Crow, the KKK, want, deprivation, envy and murder of the unborn in the womb. Most especially, enough of their “Republican,” enablers, who believe they can gain political favor or DC cocktail circuit invites, by promoting these blatant lies.
What is even more egregious, these lies have already become, “common knowledge.” Her Majesty and I attended church yesterday, which we do every Sunday that she manages to pry my fat fundament out of bed. As part of the warm up to the sermon, one of our Associate Pastors offered a few thoughts,

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was running fast and free with with the hyperbole when she appeared on ABC with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, attacking Republicans over the Capitol protest and demanding “accountability.” [Video]
“And so, if we allow insurrection against the United States with impunity, with no accountability, we are inviting it to happen again,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “We came close to nearly half of the House dying on Wednesday.”
She also then later made a misleading comment about the number about police deaths in relation to the protest. “Five people died and we just learned another officer lost his life,” she claimed.

Well, so much for that whole unity thing. Democrats are out for blood, emboldened by the idiotic alt-right fools who rushed the Capitol last week, and they are seemingly going to play every card they have. Impeachment is already being talked about, perhaps even after Biden’s inauguration, in order to ban Trump from every holding office again. But if that wasn’t dumb enough, Nancy Pelosi is now looking at the 14th Amendment as a way to expel Republican members of the House for supposedly taking part in an “insurrection.”

Democrats now have single-party control of the federal government. President Joe Biden styled himself as the most moderate candidate his party had to offer. And still, during the campaign he promised to put Beto O’Rourke – the man who blurted out “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15s” in charge of his administration’s gun policies.
Whether or not President Biden and gun czar Beto aim for a program of national gun confiscation, we should expect some sort of major crackdown against the Second Amendment and against our other liberties. The congressmen who ducked, covered, and cowered – in now iconic photos –

House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA) on Sunday called for a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) investigation into Big Tech stifling the new social media platform Parler.
"The effect of this is there is no longer a free and open social media company or site for any American to get on anymore because these big companies – Apple, Amazon, Google – they likely destroyed what was likely a billion dollar company," Nunes explained to Fox News' Maria Bartiromo. "Poof. It's gone."
The congressman explained the concern is bigger than a company taking a financial hit.
"Republicans have no way to communicate.

I’m not sure which is my favorite aspect of this disgraceful and dangerous festival of bans, gagging, and silencing that the Establishment embarked upon last week after it finally discovered one kind of riot it didn’t approve of. Maybe it was the journalists cheering censorship. Maybe it was True Conservatives™ like that geek from National Review giving censorship a soft, girlish thumbs-up – perhaps if the libs shut down the competition then people will sign up for NR’s cruises again. Ahoy! Or maybe it was the ACLU trying to balance the realization that having corporations not totally control what people say is bad with the imperative that Orange Man Bad.

A new fauxrage has been instigated by the Left following word that Ginni Thomas, a well-known conservative and wife of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, supported Turning Point USA, which bused in Trump supporters to the “Save America Rally” last Wednesday on The Ellipse in Washington, D.C.
As everyone knows, after the rally was over, some attendees turned into rioters and breached the U.S. Capitol Building, causing so-far un-tallied damage and chaos. When it was over, Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick had died. It is believed that the Capitol Police officer died from a head injury, possibly from a thrown fire extinguisher.
Four protesters died during the siege.

Less than a week has passed since the Capitol riot, and the Democratic Party, the establishment media, and Big Tech now present it as axiomatic that President Donald Trump incited the mob for the purpose of preventing the electoral vote certification and, presumably, grabbing dictatorial powers. Republican Senators Pat Toomey and Lisa Murkowski have joined the calls for Trump either to resign or face a second impeachment, and even Ted Cruz has said that Trump’s rhetoric “certainly contributed to the violence that occurred.” But before the lynch mob gets the noose ready and hangs the president from the nearest tree, it would be useful to step back

No one can point to any statement from President Trump calling upon his supporters to storm the Capitol, much less to stage a coup against the U.S. government, but it doesn’t matter anymore. The establishment media and the social media giants are insisting that he incited the attack on the Capitol and was trying to install himself as a dictator by means of a guy with a buffalo horn hat and some other dopes and wingnuts, and if you don’t believe it, you’re a racist, bigoted, MAGA-hat-wearing fascist who deserves to be silenced along with the president, and soon will be.

Donald Trump announced he will not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20, becoming the fourth American president to choose not to witness his successor taking office. Joe Biden calls it “a good thing” and said the president was “an embarrassment,” which is pretty rich coming from The Big Guy. It’s also rich when you look back at the reaction by Democrats to President Trump four short years ago. Like four years ago, before he even took the oath, Democrats are still trying to “impeach 45!” And many boycotted his inauguration.
So many Democrats boycotted his inauguration,

Heads up, Greg Abbott, Brian Kemp, and every other Republican governor with a GOP legislature. A democrat trifecta at the federal level, like the one from 2009-2010, is now upon us. Unlike the first two years of the Obama administration, they will not be leaving their most radical legislation until midnight of Christmas Eve 2022. Bills such as the Equality Act and the PRO Act that have already passed the House will be rushed through the Senate.
These bills alone will affect religious liberty and right-to-work legislation. Republican governors with a trifecta at the state level are the first line of defense against the erosion of our civil liberties
