The death of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick was a tragedy.
But as it turns out, the facts originally reported about his death may not have been accurate. The initial story implied that he died from an attack by protesters at the Capitol, it was even reported that he was hit with a fire extinguisher. Apparently though, the facts as of this moment are not there to confirm that claim. Yet that has gone everywhere as “facts.”
Indeed, according to ABC, they are reporting that Sicknick’s death may have been “driven by a medical condition.”
According to sources familiar with the matter, authorities believe Sicknick’s death was driven by a medical condition.

During our live podcast/VIP/whiskey hour Friday evening, Steve commented that the Republican Party is “reeling” following the D.C. demonstration and riot last week. Given what I know of the Republican Party establishment I expect he is right, but still I was taken aback. Why in the world should Republicans be reeling? Because a handful of demonstrators invaded (or, in some cases, were ushered into) the Capitol and some of them behaved badly? What do those people–not the hundreds of thousands who demonstrated peacefully, but the few who rioted–have to do with the Republican Party?
Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said Democrats have virtually no chance of successfully impeaching and removing President Donald Trump before Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
“The case cannot come to trial in the Senate. In the letter the teachers are told to report to a meeting on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 where disciplinary action, including termination, will be discussed.
