House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA) on Sunday called for a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) investigation into Big Tech stifling the new social media platform Parler. "The effect of this is there is no longer a free and open social media company or site for any American to get on anymore because these big companies – Apple, Amazon, Google – they likely destroyed what was likely a billion dollar company," Nunes explained to Fox News' Maria Bartiromo. "Poof. It's gone." The congressman explained the concern is bigger than a company taking a financial hit. "Republicans have no way to communicate.

It's about controlling the information. Prior to the internet, the left had a monolpoly on the news information via the alphabet networks. They want their monolpoly back.

It's time to start using their own sites to get back at them, at least a little bit. For example, I posted on fakebook about how in New York they were throwing vaccine away. That's a big concern here in Florida. There's got to be tons of info the left doesn't want to get out, but they can't police everything that is posted. Just my simple way of trying to help get the truth out. There's so many things that should be corrected, such as the claim that one cop may have been hit by a fire extinguisher, when it was a health problem he had. At least someone will see my post and maybe start to think about what more we can do.

Nunes is a warrior who deserves the highest honor for getting back up and fighting, when he got knocked down over and over. Fighting even when he knew he would not win, but just to make a stand for what is right. This makes him one of my most respected congressional leaders (there are only about 10 on my short list). I got off of instagram this week and encourage everyone to exit facebook and instagram and twitter. What pushed me over the edge was not the political education that they attempted to give me, but their advertising and snooping. This week I was talking to my friend on my iphone about a chemo drug she will be taking. I did NOT do a search, or type it in to my phone or computer in any way. But the next day, an ad popped up on my Instagram for that very cancer medication!!! That freaks me out because I have disabled siri on my phone and computer! I will return to the old school method of maintaining relationships with people. Phone and email contact. I had fallen into the trap of thinking that by posting or "liking", I actually have contacted a friend.

Is there anyone out there besides me who can grasp what has happened the past four years and what is about to happen after January, 20? Nunes should not even have had to call on this (and I doubt if anything will happen when he does: anyone at the top in any of these departments would love to be kept on, so where is the incentive) and I have to tell you the virtue posturing of Bill Barr, a man I used to respect (and when the Biden mess was evident way last May yet) and Durham, who would rather pat themselves on the respective backs and say how thorough and letter of the law they are, and then watch the whole thing disappear under Biden....does anyone REALLY think there will be a fair investigation when those investigated are big time Dems and/or the son the the to be President?????). In any HONEST government this would have been investigated, every bit of it from fraud in the election (so far Peter Novarro ON HIS OWN has looked into it via alga rhythms and everything else and found honesty in the major swing states totally dubious mathematically) to who the people actually were/are who stormed the capitol while 98% of the Republicans stayed outside peacefully, as they have always done and as Trump asked them to do. THAT'S why there weren't enough police : there has NEVER been an issue with Republicans. Don't even ask about the Courts and Supreme Court on anything---they also preen and virtue signal rather than take one the hard job and now we have a country on the verge of total division!

Here's the deal with social media companies and why just a few have dominance. 1) New social media companies have a chicken-and-egg problem. People won't join unless their friends are there. So how does one get started? Facebook started by localizing to just the Harvard Campus. Then grew to other college campuses. That's how they solved their chicken and egg problem. 2) Big Tech will buy out their smaller competitors. Facebook paid $19 billion for WhatsApp. What founder would refuse such coin? 3) They steal ideas from the competitors that refuse to sell. Case in point: SnapChat 4) They conspire to put competitors out of business by slamming them all at once. Google Play, iOS App Store, and AWS hit parler all at once. Gab managed when they were taken off-line in 2018. 5) Army of lobbyists to ensure nothing is ever done. Everyone of these needs to be addressed to break from BigTech.

Less than a week has passed since the Capitol riot, and the Democratic Party, the establishment media, and Big Tech now present it as axiomatic that President Donald Trump incited the mob for the purpose of preventing the electoral vote certification and, presumably, grabbing dictatorial powers. Republican Senators Pat Toomey and Lisa Murkowski have joined the calls for Trump either to resign or face a second impeachment, and even Ted Cruz has said that Trump’s rhetoric “certainly contributed to the violence that occurred.” But before the lynch mob gets the noose ready and hangs the president from the nearest tree, it would be useful to step back

Unlike the first two years of the Obama administration, they will not be leaving their most radical legislation until midnight of Christmas Eve 2022. Bills such as the Equality Act and the PRO Act that have already passed the House will be rushed through the Senate. These bills alone will affect religious liberty and right-to-work legislation. The majority of working-class Trump supporters who traveled to DC last week were "repulsed" by Wednesday's riots that engulfed the Capitol in chaos and resulted in at least four deaths, conservative activist Charlie Kirk said Sunday. "The strength of the president's movement is about giving a voice to working people all across the country," Kirk told "The Next Revolution" host Steve Hilton on Sunday, "and I can tell you, working people who voted for the president were repulsed by what they saw. In fact, they were saddened." Kirk argued that Trump supporters gathered in the nation's capital to demand that lawmakers take various steps to preserve the integrity

In 2020, Democrat riots caused billions of dollars in property damage, destroyed historic sites, and assaulted and murdered dozens of people. Meanwhile, on January 6, President Trump asked patriots to walk peacefully to the Capitol to cheer politicians who, copying Democrat, objected to Electoral College votes. Some hotheads (encouraged by Antifa plants?) entered the Capitol, as Democrat protesters have done many times before. This time, though, Democrats demand that Trump leave office immediately under the 25th Amendment or be impeached and that all Trump-supporting politicians across America be expelled from office.

President Trump acknowledged that he bears some blame for the Capitol riot last week during a conversation with House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, a source familiar told Fox News. Two sources say McCarthy R-Calif., relayed the president’s sentiment on a call Monday with the House GOP Conference. McCarthy, on the call Monday with Republicans, agreed that Trump bore blame for the unrest which sent Congress into lockdown as they tried to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election last week. The White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The riot left five people dead, including one Capitol Police officer.
