Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) on Sunday said pro-Trump rioters who ran wild inside the Capitol may be have had inside information. Clyburn, the House majority whip and prominent member of the Congressional Black Caucus, said the rioters found his second office, even though there is no sign on the door. “I have an unmarked office that you got to know exactly where it is,” Clyburn told CNN anchor Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.” He said he spends “most of” his “time” in that office instead of his more official office, which has his nameplate above the door.

We think so, too, but believe it was part of a plot to make ALL of the protesters look bad and, of course, President Trump and his supporters.

Chances are Clyburn is insinuating that the Capitol Police gave out privileged information to whoever, as Clyburn knows that just like most rank and file police officers across the country a lot of those Capitol Police Officers are Trump supporters when it comes to their politics, but that does not mean those police officers do not do their duty in accordance with the law. If Clyburn has a problem with inadequate security at the US Capitol, he should go and talk to Pelosi as she is ultimately responsible for the security at the US Capitol. No doubt there are extreme elements on both sides of the political divide these days and with a big political protest involving more then a hundred thousand people scheduled to take place outside the Capitol building there was bound to be a small percentage of extremists there intent on creating as much havoc and mayhem as possible. Obviously the people in charge of security there were not ready for what took place. Remember all those Congress critters who came out claiming to be scared to death are the same people who would send your daughters and sons to take part in foreign wars where they could easily be killed, seriously wounded, or blown up, without two thoughts, especially if the were going to get some campaign contributions from the military industrial establishment.

Because the Senate has rules, and the rules would not allow the case to come to trial until, according to the majority leader, until 1 p.m. on January 20th, an hour after President Trump leaves office,” Dershowitz said in a Fox Business interview on Sunday. Dershowitz, who defended Trump during the Senate impeachment trial about a year ago, suggested that the Constitution does not allow for impeaching a former president.
