Justin Thomas wishes he could get a mulligan. The PGA Tour star called himself a homophobic slur Saturday during the third round of the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii. Thomas uttered the slur on the fourth hole after missing a 4-foot put for par, and he was caught on a Golf Channel microphone. The 27-year-old Thomas, who has won the PGA Championship and 13 PGA Tour events, was apologetic when he discovered his slur was caught on TV after his round. “There’s just no excuse. I’m an adult, I’m a grown man,” Thomas told the Golf Channel after his round. “There’s absolutely

Since the Q in LGBTQ is a word banned here, but used by them when can we start using that word again?
Since this uttered word was not uttered at a person, how can this be offensive?

Pretty weird thing to call a golf ball, or any inanimate object.

Justin Thomas is going to relentlessly and viciously attacked by the pervert lobby. I hope he absorbs the onslaught and makes no further apologies.

It's clear Thomas self-identified as one as a result of his poor effort so what is the problem?

Golf is the most frustrating game I've ever attempted to play. Based on my own experience, I'd give him a pass. Even the media's sainted Eldrick has been caught on mic venting his frustrations with naughty words.

And, here I thought since childhood that golf is merely a way to practice your cursing skills whilst strolling through 18 manicured lawns.

Not at all, #9. It's something to do while you're drinking beer and smoking premium cigars.
Justin was wrong to insult the Lincoln Project eunuchs, however.

The covertly amusing cover of Led Zeppelin's iconic fourth album had no printing, just a picture of al old man carrying a bundle of sticks on his back, illustrating a word no one is allowed to say unless one is of the very public LGBTQ persuasion, and just doesn't give a (ahem) hoot. Otherwise that word's not allowed to be spoken. And a bundle of sticks is a f--I say--just a bundle of sticks (Rappers' permission and no one else's to use the "n" word is similar.)
What Justin Thomas called either himself or the ball after foozling a short putt is a new one for me, and I played professional golf myself since before JT was born. I have heard it all. I cannot imagine where he came up with that sobriquet, but players can get down on themselves, get verbally abusive against Ole Number One, call themselves a sackful of ... something. Let a sports psychologist figure it out. Or a head shrinker with an MD.
Instead of calling myself a bad word, I tended to take it out on the putter when too many putts went awry, even though I knew it was completely my fault. It gave a certain amount of satisfaction to me to put a recalcitrant putter (or driver) across my knee and separate it into two pieces, like golf legend Lefty Stackhouse used to do. Just snap it in two. Feels better now.

As our country is burning around us people are upset about a slur. He has nothing to apologize for. Everything that is banned in select groups is commonly used within those groups that banned it. P.C. has destroyed this country. Anyone upset over this should have their heads examined. Got it.

"foozling."
Haven't seen that one since P.G. Wodehouse.
I should mention that I only resorted to #10 when my son started out-driving me by 30 yards and my wife started beating me by 2-3 strokes a side. Short Games Matter.
Thing is, I'm having more fun.

New America is such that even a mild oath uttered under a man's breath can upend his career. Thoughtcrimes, wide-scale coordinated censorship by a controlled media, and stolen elections are all of the same Marxist cloth.

JT has a history of muttering all sorts of off-color words while the mic is nearby. It was only a matter of time before he was captured saying something 'unforgiveable'.

"Gay" is a homosexual slur of a good family name. First name, middle name, last name. Plenty of people named Gay. It is horrific and inexcusable that many sexually-confused folk have stigmatized the family name "Gay" by associating it with disgusting, degrading, and disease-ridden homosexual behavior. Apparently their human rights campaign does not include the human right to one's good family name. If you can't leave a positive legacy yourself, do you have to ruin others' legacies as well?

No such thing as being afraid of a homo. They make me quake not. A homo can be called many things, much of which is banned on this salon. So be it, but for now, use of the prefix "homo" is still allowed, so homo, Homo, HOMO!

I don't really care. Golf is a difficult game that when played, expands one's expletive laden vocabulary. Justin Thomas is a professional golfer who makes his living playing that game at it's highest level for huge amounts of money. Go to a tournament and watch these pros. They are machines. They make the difficult look easy, and they do it over and over again. I've played golf for about fifty years. If I make a good shot, it's makes my day. If the pros make a bad shot, it ruins their round that could cost them huge amounts of money.
