Why not just round us all up now and haul us into the reeducation camps/gulags?

Kids in West Virginia won't be any worse off without teachers than they are now.

If they were busting down doors inside the Capitol, go ahead and fire them. If they were only at the peaceful protest, prepare yourselves for a massive lawsuit.

Unless it can be proven that they engaged in unlawful conduct, these teachers should become very wealthy from winning lawsuits for unlawful termination. They were engaging in peaceful protests and are protected by the US constitution.

So, the District is okay with bad teachers, bully teachers, teachers who molest their students, but boy you better not support the first decent America First president in our lifetime. Do I have that straight? Time to absolutely bust the Unions in Education. Their expiration date came and went decades ago. Now all they are are money laundering machines and handmaidens for the democrat party.

Have some respect now. This is DOCTOR Gibson speaking after all and it's a friend of DOCTOR Jill.

Since when is entering a public building let alone protesting outside of it a crime? The capitol has been the site of protests both inside and outside innumerable times over the years. It is open to thousands of people every day who conduct business, visit as tourists, or who just want to observe their government in action. People are losing all perspective on what actually happened July 6 thanks to the raging hate of Donald Trump and his supporters coming from the major media outlets. Calling even the worst actions, and yes there were some bad and likely illegal excesses an "insurrection" is simply stupid or deranged. It was a protest like thousands of others that have ocurred over the years and a mostly overwhelmingly peaceful one. The system not only survives such shows of political rancor all the time and indeed thrives on them because that is what happens in a Democracy. If you want to criminalize all such behavior then you are the problem not the solution.

Once again the taxpayers of Jefferson County, WV will be on the hook for the payout this lawsuit will bring. Easier and cheaper just to fire the Superintendent and School Board Members who signed on to this attempt to cancel the teachers 1st Amendment rights.

Suggesting lawsuits assumes the legal system has the balls to respect the law.
Remind of when that's been the case recently, at any level of the legal system.

The superintendent is setting herself up for a wrongful termination lawsuit, which will be very expensive. I don't think political activism is what parents had in mind when they send their kids to school.

My husband, a local volunteer on a city board, along with a friend who is on our city council are going through this as well. It is a national drive, completely orchestrated, IMO, by Obama, to rid all govt. of conservatives. It will not work.
All they did was sign a letter to our congressmen and senator asking them to support Trump and to look into voter fraud. Part of tne letter quoted the Declaration of Independence: we pledge our lives, our fortune, our sacred honor... This, the leftie scum are interpreting as violent. They also falsely claim we hired a bus to go to DC. No. We simply sent links for people to find one.
Even if we did it would be our right as free Americans. Our country is so screwed if this craziness is not stopped.

West Virginia does not have a collective bargaining law covering public employees.
If WV did, the teachers would have the right to arbitration.
I'm not sure how tenure applies there, but in most cases tenure has a morals clause. Breaking in to the Capitol would put them at great risk of losing tenure.

How much money does it take for you to sell out your country? How come the average American who protests the fraudulent results of the election are traitors and seditious but Biden selling influence using his son is just fine - the Republicans don't protest or even question this behavior. It is probably because they all do it. We need term limits and harsh punishment for elected officials who enrich themselves and their families while in government service. The legislators know in advance where money will be allocated and then place their family members in positions in non-profits and foundations in order to funnel the money to themselves and their friends. These schemes should be illegal - if you are in government service, then no family member or associate ( including your private foundations and non-profit organizations) should be eligible to receive federal or state grant funds. They should also be restricted from buying or selling stocks during their tenure.

Read the letter. They will be fired for not following rules for requesting leave. Take that to court...

Our sheriff, in Canadian County, OK, also attended as a private citizen. Some crazy liberal (yes, we have them in Oklahoma, too) started a petition to demand his resignation and sent it to our state attorney general. He is extremely popular with our county citizens and this absurd attempt will go nowhere.

And so the cancelation of conservatives marches on. This is disgusting and I certainly hope they will fight this action. I am wondering where the hell they plan on putting 75 million plus citizens who consider themselves conservatives?

I would say go ahead, we’ll see you in court. But CJ Roberts will not protect the liberty of these teachers, he has made that abundantly clear.

They had over a million people at the Rally. If it had been "violent", none of those traitors would have survived the day. Maybe they should think about that before we have another Rally?

Thought Jefferson County WV was better than that. It’s time to terminate or sue Gibson.
