Facebook and Twitter largely 'culpable for

Facebook (FB), Twitter (TWTR), and other social media sites should be held accountable for helping to stoke the divisiveness that led to Wednesday’s attack on the Capitol, according to a former Obama adviser who has also worked for Facebook. Dozens of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol seeking to overturn the 2020 election results after the president used a nearby rally and his Twitter account to spread lies about the election and incite violence among his followers. “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously

Political reparation $$$$$ assault from the left plus anti-trust restraint of trade assault from the right = the eventual withering away of Facebook & Twitter into a Democrat self-destructive woke wasteland.

Dozens of bi.det supporters wearing Trump paraphernalia stormed the capitol. Earlier in the year bi.det supporters had attacked a US senator on the streets of DC and another senator’s wife and child as they rested in their home. All summer bi.det supporters burned and looted us cities with approval of Bi.det. Kamel a Hairass promised that the violence would continue even after the election on a late night television show. In 2016 a dimocrat operative recruited people to foment violence at Trump rallies in order to discredit him. Bi.det, after meandering about goebbels observed that the only possible conclusion is that “orange man bad”. He also said he loved to have kids sit on his lap. Bi.det promises to prepare an enemies list during his first 100 days.

These folks are overlooking something. Had the President directed his followers to attack the capitol, the capitol today would be under the control of We The People. The vote to make fair elections illegal going forward would not have occurred at 3:40 am on January 7. We likely would have stormed the congressional office buildings, the tunnels. This was a minor Antifa action started in hopes of starting a war. It didn’t get out of hand because POTUS was late to start and very late to finish his speech, which never called for any “violent insurrection”. They refuse to recognize how close we are to a real “violent insurrection”.

# 2 - you are so right. Trump supporters are not violent, crazed people. However we are tough and like you said, if the president had asked us to 'storm the battlements' it would have happened. Not once has President Trump indicated he wanted violence. I think there is something more going on right now. No, I don't think Trump can retain the presidency at this point. I do think he can slowly whittle down the Pelosi's and Schumers, the AOC and that muslim woman and weaken them. He has to have lots of stuff on them and no one, not even democrats like Pelosi. If I were him, I'd start with her.

#4, we will never find out the truth now that the Dems are totally in control. In fact, we weren't getting the truth from our FBI and "Justice" dept throughout Trump's administration either, they simply hid, disregarded, or destroyed every piece of evidence they received that was detrimental to Dems (incl Hunter's laptop, the Trump dossier, Seth Rich's death, Hillary's server, Weiner's laptop, etc, etc, etc. ad infinitum)

He already has 0's enemies list - you know the one Mad Max said he was assembling “That database will have information about everything on every individual in ways that it’s never been done before.” I am surprised her comments haven't been disappeared from the net.

Initially, I was thrilled to see this article, I thought, are we finally making progress to agree to disagree? The SM sites & owners ARE culpable in all this - by allowing antifa, blm & paid agitators to use their sites to organize the riots we have all had to endure. Then I looked at it from another perspective:  now that dems used SM to get the majority now they want to curtail its usage - why - could it be to prevent republicans from using these platforms to make a comeback?

David Goldman (also known as “Spengler”) summarizes with approval the analysis of Chinese professor Jin Canrong. The professor’s thesis is this: [T]he United States has issued a massive amount of excess currency due to the epidemic, and the amount of currency issuance far exceeds the normal needs of economic development, so there is a situation in which more currency is issued but production cannot be restored. Inflation in the United States is rising, which will put a lot of pressure on the U.S. finances. The U.S. federal debt is approaching $30 trillion. What does this imply?

President Joe Biden confirmed Friday that Americans should expect more coronavirus-related restrictions, as the Delta variant of the virus continues to spread. Biden spoke about more restrictions on Americans after CBS reporter Weijia Jiang asked him if he expected more restrictions as the virus spreads across the country. “In all probability,” he replied as he left the White House for a weekend trip to Camp David. Biden also signaled optimism that more Americans were getting vaccinated, citing “almost a million” people getting their shots on Thursday.

You’d be forgiven for forgetting they existed, but the fugitive Texas Democrats, who fled their state to stop the passage of a mundane voting integrity bill, are still hanging out in Washington, DC. Where exactly, I’m not sure, but I like to imagine them sleeping on cots and eating ramen noodles every night while they mutter obscenities about Gov. Greg Abbott to each other. That’s when they aren’t spreading COVID to everyone, of course. There was a sighting a few days ago in which some of them appeared with Al Sharpton at the MLK memorial. You know, because nothing stirs support in Texas like latching onto a notorious, big-city race grifter

You know you’ve screwed up badly as a spokesman when you have to walk back something stupid you said not once but twice. Once: And twice: Karine Jean-Pierre is the heir apparent to Jen Psaki as press secretary but Biden must be nervous watching her stumble around on a subject as touchy as this one. Imagine Dems trying to compete in the midterms after blue-state governors have ordered a new round of business closures, with all the economic and psychological wreckage that would entail, at a moment when every pharmacy chain in the country is overflowing with vaccines. Gov. The order states “no governmental entity, including a county, city, school district, and public health authority, and no governmental official may require any person to wear a face covering or to mandate that another person wear a face covering,” with limited exceptions. “No governmental entity can compel any individual to receive a COVID-19 vaccine administered under an emergency use authorization,” the order continues, barring

Americans expect more inflaton this year and remain uneasy about the direction of the economy, the University of Michigan’s survey of consumers showed Friday. Expect4ed inflation over the next year rose to 4.7 percent from 4.2 percent in June. That’s the highest level in over a decade. At least for now, however, Americans still believe that inflation will remain tame over the long term. Expected inflation over the next five years is just 2.8 percent, down from 3 percent in May. “While most consumers still expect inflation to be transitory, there is growing evidence that an inflation storm is likely to develop on the not too distant horizon.

Republican staffers defied Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Thursday evening by playing beer pong (with water) in a Capitol office hallway, smoking cigars, and socializing — without masks, courting arrest by Capitol Police. As Breitbart News reported Thursday, Pelosi ordered Capitol Police to arrest any staff and visitors who refused to comply with new mask mandates, which she imposed earlier in the week, regardless of vaccination status. She ordered the Capitol Police to report members of Congress who refused to comply to the House Sergeant at Arms for disciplinary action.
