WASHINGTON—Democrats’ momentum for a fresh drive to quickly impeach outgoing President Donald Trump gained support Saturday, and a top Republican said the president’s role in the deadly riot at the Capitol by a violent mob of Trump supporters was worthy of rebuke.Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., said he believed Trump had committed “impeachable offenses.” But he did not explicitly say whether he would vote to remove the president from office at the conclusion of a Senate trial if the House sent over articles of impeachment.“I don’t know what they are going to send over and one of the things that I’m concerned about, frankly, is whether

When did Pat Toomey become a “top Republican”? He has shown antipathy toward President Trump for quite a while. He has been trotting his sour self all over the television media, telling anyone who’d give him a bit of air time about what an awful person President Trump is. Toomey is a dreadful little man.

The problem with the Republican Party is half of them are Democrats, who are the leadership of both the Republican and Democrat Parties. The conservatives, who represent 90% of the Republicans, have no one in a leadership position. We can't get anybody to issue a subpoena, hold a hearing, or even find an attorney, even though almost everybody is one.

Just about everything in this paragraph is a lie. The President did not have a role in the protests. It was not a deadly riot, except for the police murdering an innocent patriotic Air Force veteran. The Trump supporters at the protest were not violent. etc. etc. It was the antifa goons who infiltrated our protest and invaded the Capitol who made it appear violent and out of control. Their mission was accomplished. Now every leftwing, propagada outfit in the country is screaming about violent Trump supporters who are violent insurrectionists.

The 2020 election was very much about who controlled the information and who got to tell the story. The Capitol “Riots” were no different. It’s hard to gauge how many people were truly there for the rally and event that day, in part because the mainstream media outlets would never want to give accurate totals for those numbers. It’s doubtful the scene or event would have made that much of a blip on the news radar that day if the events at the Capitol Building did not take place.
