On Saturday, it was reported that Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen will attend the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday, January 20.(Tweet) Breaking with a tradition that has been uninterrupted since the inauguration of President Ulysses S. Grant in 1868, President Trump tweeted on Friday that he would not attend the inauguration, writing, “To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.”Three presidents have openly refused to attend their successor’s inaugurations: John Adams in 1801, John Quincy Adams in 1829, and Andrew Johnson in 1869.

Pence should return to Indiana. Attending the inauguration will get him no credit from the Democrats, and will lose him enough support from conservatives that he is done in national politics.

No ,Mike Pence, sucking up to the Harris/Biden administration will not improve your chances for 2024. You are actually lucky you were not replaced a long time ago.
If Big Tech ever allows us to have another presidential election...it will not be you.

I fully expected Pence to go to Biden’s big event. Mike and Karen will go and oh my, will they be treated well. Every conservative I know understands who he is now and would never vote for him again anyway.

Pence’s career is already over. He will never be able win a national election.
Not sure he could win another election in Indiana.

Very disappointing. He has no Constitutional obligation to attend demonstrating to me that his failure to act to protect our vote was not based on some high minded principle but rather was an act of appeasement. James 4:7 says "resist the devil and he will flee" not "appease the devil and everyone can get along".

Which ass is Traitor Mike going to kiss at the inauguration first? Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, NMP (Not My President) Biden? Would a true Christian have acted the way he has during the Chinese Flu Bio Weapons attack and his aiding and abetting of a coup by the communist death democrats? Truly a despicable human being.

He is imitating the fawning of McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and Liz Cheney, to name but a few. They all appear to ignore what happened to those who supported the Bolsheviks in 1917. Once they were done destroying their opposition, they devoured the hangers-on.

Who thinks Pence won't win another national election? He absolutely will if Dominion wants him to. Have you not gotten it yet? There are no more "elections." YOU will NEVER decide a national leader again. Do you really think that now the Marxists are going to back off on their election stealing? Hello? In the next two years they will institute election fraud down to the county dog catcher level. Who or what is going to stop them? A reply box on Lucianne?

By '24 there will be many critics here complaining because that third party will mired in Nowheresville, and the Dems will be doing a Bill Clinton...winning with 40% of the vote.
Pence is positioning to pick up the pieces, as are Cruz and others. The UNIPARTY will continue to shatter any legacy of PDT's term. Still, the MAGA mantle will be torn into shreds with each clinging to parts and waving them. And faced with a more radical Harris Administration, the "Real Republican" purists will prefer Harris continue to teach "conservatives" lessons than apply practical politics.
The lesson taught by the Clintons is being lived today: rampant corruption, perhaps even murder, and the public binging on ignorance. The grand scale was perfected by the UNIPARTY and really brought to fruition by the Obama administration. The lesson will be expanded further over the next four years...

I kinda feel sorry for him...Morris said it right... he couldn't get elected to dog catcher now... along with the turtle and lindsey graham..as to barr and roberts...their true colors have been on display since the stolen election...Americans are watching their every move...

Rod Rosenstein, together with Pence’s knowledge and consent, helped to engineer this entire coup attempt against President Trump – in an attempt to oust Trump. A real ? opening piece which runs from the hit on Seth Rich to Mike Judas Pence. ? Fascinating!

People on this site keep talking about “not winning another election.” Wake up. The people who will “win elections” are the people who the uniparty wants. The apparatus is in place and, if it can take out Trump, it will work in favor of whomever they want.

I’m astonished at the vitriol heaped upon a man who supported honorably his president. Pence is perhaps the most boring vice-president of my lifetime but President Trump has absolutely no reason to doubt his loyalty.
There was nothing Pence could have done to prevent Biden’s inauguration in ten days. If there is any proof otherwise I’d love to see it. The constitution is quite clear.
Pence never had any intention of running for president whether Trump had a second term of not.

It is an error to attend Biden's inauguration. He's a fake President. And worse, the same ineffective, unprofessional and godawfully dangerous and trigger happy Capitol Building guard service will be there.
Let Joe face that danger by himself.
The Democrats created that mess. And they have done nothing but try to pass the blame to others. I see no chance they will realize their errors by Inauguration Day.
As miserable as his life is going to be from here on out (classified with Brutus, Benedict Arnold, Petain, Quisling, etc) at least he's likely to have avoided the ignominy of being disposed of like yesterday's garbage by one of those mentally deficient guards.

Note to VP Pence - compromise with your enemy leads you to the slaughterhouse. Or perhaps in his case, he'll be handing out his business cards for those nice plum corporate boards positions. I just hope Karen wears an evening gown for the night's balls (if they have any) that is appropriate for her age and body shape.

Great comments. Pence got Flynn fired, it was the move purposed to be rid of Trump too.
Our enemy are not the democrats, but also the republicans.
We need a new party. The republican senate is a joke and a fraud like Biden.
Mr. Trump wanted to be liked by the Republicans and made one bad appointment after the other to appease them to his detriment, and ours.
Some of os have good discernment, President Trump does not. Look at the fools and snakes he put in positons of power. A cavalcade of true swampers.
Pence was a true swamper, along with 'mad dog', sessionsss, Haspell, McMaster, and so many more..
Good bye you scumo of the political earth Republian party.\

No doubt Pence is thinking about his future political career and his chances don’t look great at the moment. There are 75 million or so Trump supporters out there who have been reliable Republican voters up to this point. Chances are with what happened in the last week with many thinking that Pence abandoned Trump in an hour of need, along with it coming to lite that Pence covertly colluded with Rod Rosenstein of Russian collusion infamy in the past to use the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office that some would consider to be traitorous moves, that Pence has some explaining to do, as not too many Trump supporters will vote for Pence if his candidacy shows up in future Republican primary elections. We will see.

The article and these comments just prove to me that Pence was NOT a clone of Trump. Nor, was he ever meant to be anyone but Mike Pence. He assuredly was NOT algore, the major stain on Tennessee's sordid political past. Al Gore wasn't even as honorable (?!) as ''Pardon Me'' Ray Blanton. If you ever see him again, ask the recently retired Lamar Alexander (R-TN) how that worked.

Is President Trump attending the inauguration really, "the proper thing to do"?
The proper thing would have been for the Democrats to honor the will of the people who voted overwhelmingly for President Trump, and applaud his earned victory.
And the proper thing would have been for the Democrats not to impeach, accuse, investigate, spy, and oppose every action of President Trump throughout the four years of his presidency..
And the proper thing would have been for the former VP not to lie, criticize, and misrepresent the sitting President, emboldening our enemies in the process, and even encouraging non-citizens to reject him and our laws.
Joe Biden did not legally win the presidency - there is no reason for the man who actually prevailed to attend an event that shames, discredits, and destroys the honor of our nation throughout the world.

If the report I just watched is true, there won't be an inauguration and Pence will be replaced with Flynn. I know it sounds impossible, but we will all know before the 20th. The credible part is the chinese were trying to get the F-16 engines via Pakistan. That part bothers me, I'd think they would want something better, but the newest fighters aren't going anywhere in Asia. Her laptop has stuff and the Italians were part of the deal, but someone rolled. I'm going to allow myself one last ray of hope and pray this is true. We will know if the Insurrection Act goes into effect and the Speaker of the House doing a military tech deal with communist china would qualify. After this year, I am not entirely discounting this tale of corruption, chinese manipulation and over reach by people who think they can do anything.
