Joe Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday.
As we reported earlier, he tried to blame President Donald Trump for the riots violence despite the fact that it’s leftists behind the violence in Democratically-run cities who Trump has done everything to try to help.
But there were some things beyond that that just screamed out for comment.
So this apparently was Joe Biden’s audience, just media. There was no audience. Who exactly was he giving the speech to? That was bad enough. But the delivery of the speech showed the deep problems that the Democrats have with Biden.

Democrats and the media have made a sudden turn the last few days. After months of excusing the riots and even actively encouraging them, the new narrative is that it’s all Trump’s fault. They ignore that Trump has offered assistance to Portland, for example, and has been viciously rebuffed even as the city continues to suffer chaos. They also ignore that when Gov. Evers did accept Trump’s help in Kenosha, the violence dwindled almost immediately. No matter, though. The media believe they are the vanguards of information and the Democrats know they have them in their pocket. So you get insanity like this must-see video

With the political conventions behind us and Labor Day approaching, it's the time of year when down-ballot elections start to kick into high gear. At the start of the 2020 cycle, the Senate wasn't expected to be all that exciting, with Republicans largely on defense in red states. But that's changed. With President Donald Trump trailing in national polls, Democratic challengers raking in millions and demographics shifting across the South, many of those Republican incumbents are sitting in states that don't look as red as they used to.Democrats need a net gain of three seats to flip the chamber if they also win the White House --

If members of Congress have leaked classified information to the media, they should be prosecuted, former House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz said on "Outnumbered" Monday. On Sunday, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe defended his decision to scale back in-person briefings to lawmakers on election security, telling "Sunday Morning Futures" that "within minutes of one of those briefings ending, a number of members of Congress went to a number of different outlets and leaked classified information for political purposes to create a narrative that simply isn't true, that somehow Russia is a greater national security threat than China."

The latest post by Emerson College following the RNC found that President Trump has tightened the race. The poll also found that President Trump is winning 19 percent of the black vote. If this holds President Trump would win in November in a landslide. This was not an outlier. President Trump’s approval rating with registered black voters jumped to 24%, a nine point jump in the latest Hill-HarrisX poll. And a recent Rasmussen poll showed President Trump with as much as 36% of the black vote. (Tweet)

My approach to politics is simple. Never take it too seriously. Yeah, I write ranting political content as a source of income, but I try to couch that in sarcasm and snark as often as I can to bring a little levity to the insanity that permeates from our political environment on a daily basis. That’s why I really enjoy The Babylon Bee, and while they typically put out quality content, they absolutely won the internet with their latest piece of satire. Police are investigating an incident captured in a video that went viral on social media, showing a man getting hit in the back of the head with a brick in South Baltimore.
Around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, police responded with a backup unit to the 100 block of Hamburg St. in the Sharp-Leadenhall neighborhood for report of an assault. When officers arrived, there was no victim on the scene, police said. Medics who also canvassed the scene did not locate a victim, according to an incident report.
Officers later observed a “pool of blood” on a sidewalk nearby the area, according to the incident report.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden dodged questions from the press on Monday after addressing civil unrest publicly for the first time, providing ammunition for supporters of President Trump to claim he is going out of his way to avoid the media. Roughly 63 days out from Election Day, Biden delivered a speech in Pittsburgh in which he accused Trump of being incapable of preventing the violence that's sprouted across multiple cities this summer. Upon concluding his speech, the former vice president declined questions from reporters in the room, but he did acknowledge their presence at one point. "There's not a

Make no mistake, Kamala Harris, not Joe Biden, is on the Democratic ticket as the face of the leadership the country is demanding now. Her vice presidential candidacy, in essence, is a bid to become America’s second Black president. Biden is running as the Democrats’ fixit man, pledging to restore normalcy and decency to American politics. Harris’ role is symbolic, as veep choices usually are, but what she represents is truly substantive this time: Harris, a Black woman, embodies the most dependable constituency of the Democratic Party, a voting bloc that is finally rising in power and getting its due.

The twisted logic of author Vicky Osterweil's new book, In Defense of Looting, would be laughable were it not so dangerous. Yet it is being taken seriously by NPR and other media outlets that should know better.
In her interview with NPR featuring no pushback from the taxpayer-funded network's interviewer, Osterweil says of looting: "You're mass shoplifting. Most stores are insured; it's just hurting insurance companies on some level. It's just money. It's just property. It's not actually hurting any people."
Nobody gets hurt. At least, nobody Ms. Osterweil cares about. Like the shop-owners with no insurance because they can't afford it.

But it’s far too late for Democrats to pretend that they didn’t overtly advocate for and make excuses for this horror show. They've only changed their tune now because street violence, chaos, death,

How bad do things look for Joe Biden’s campaign right now? Consider this: Democrats are worried about Minnesota, a state no Republican presidential candidate has carried since Richard Nixon’s 1972 landslide. Yet polls show President Trump gaining ground in Minnesota, and Democrats are worried because they haven’t seen any appearances by Biden or his running mate Kamala Harris. “Why aren’t they here?” one Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party official told Minnesota Public Radio last week. “We need to hear from them. A federal appeals court ruled Monday against Michael Flynn and the Justice Department in their request to quickly shut down his criminal case.
The 8-2 decision restores power to a judge to question the Justice Department's moves in the politically divisive case, when Attorney General William Barr dropped charges against President Donald Trump's former national security adviser earlier this year despite twice pleading guilty to lying under oath to lying to the FBI.
Flynn had fought District Judge Emmet Sullivan's decision to ask a third-party lawyer to argue against the Justice Department's dismissal in the case, and his plans to hold a hearing, which has not yet happened.

Then the city presented the property owners with a $140,000 bill for what it would cost to haul away the debris. “We were really upset about that,” said property owner Jay Kim, whose insurance policy covers a maximum of $25,000 in demolition costs. “We thought that was high. But we didn’t know how much demolition would cost at the time.” Like dozens of other investors whose properties were severely damaged in the May riots,

Chicago police say multiple shooters opened fire at a man dining outside a Morgan Park pancake house Sunday afternoon, killing him and wounding four others.
A 31-year-old man was dining under a tent outside the Lumes Pancake House near 116th Street and Western Avenue around 1:45 p.m. Sunday when police say a white SUV pulled up and “multiple offenders” exited before firing shots, killing him and wounding four other adult diners.(Snip)A family member later identified the 31-year-old man as Devon Welsh of South Shore, and said he was eating with his girlfriend and three-week-old baby at the time. Police said they believe he was the intended target of the shooting.

A Star of David-adorned El Al plane flew from Israel to the United Arab Emirates on Monday, carrying a high-ranking American and Israeli delegation to Abu Dhabi in the first-ever direct commercial passenger flight between the two countries. The Israeli flag carrier's flight marked the implementation of the historic U.S.-brokered deal to normalize relations between the two nations and solidifies the long-clandestine ties between them that have evolved over years of shared enmity toward Iran. With the U.S. as matchmaker, Israel and the UAE agreed earlier this month to work toward normalization, which would make the UAE the third Arab nation

It doesn’t take long to get your first jaw-dropping view of Arches National Park. It happens about 30 seconds after you’ve entered, as you take your first right turn and begin a steep uphill ascent in the shadow of a massive, sheer red cliff that runs alongside the road. The stark stone facade seems to be warning visitors that you’re no longer in the domain of the human, but rather, you’ve entered a geological realm forged by millions of years of accumulated history, unrelenting weather and erosion, the time scales and physical dimensions of which you cannot begin to fathom. Your rules and limits do not apply.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is forcefully condemning the violent protests that took one life in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday evening, calling on President Donald Trump to do the same. I condemn violence of every kind by anyone, whether on the left or the right. And I challenge Donald Trump to do the same." Full Disclosure: I possess three degrees in Education, including a Ph.D. But it doesn’t take degrees in education, or any field for that matter, to know the difference between right and wrong. Now that I am homeschooling two elementary-school-aged family members (who are not my children) as their schools and surrounding districts have chosen to be locked down for no health-related reason, I have had a chance to see inside their Central-Ohio elementary school dynamic and watch their teachers in action, within an online environment. With just one week, I have witnessed the full-blown absence of formal instruction and the dumbing down of academic content.

More active-duty U.S. troops say they’ll vote for former Vice President Joseph R. Biden than President Trump in the November election, a new poll shows, continuing a steady decline in the commander in chief’s favorability ratings among service members. A Military Times survey released Monday found that if the election were held today, 41% of active-duty troops say they’d vote for Mr. Biden, compared to just 37% for the president. Another 13% said they intend to back a third-party candidate, while 9% said they’d skip the presidential election altogether. The Military Times surveyed 1,018 active-duty troops for the poll.

Without the Wuhan virus, the Democrats have no meaningful opposition to Trump. Not only have the Democrats weaponized the Wuhan virus to destroy the economies under their aegis, but they’ve also repeatedly claimed that Trump killed 161,000 Americans. However, new CDC data shows that, of those Americans who died in the past seven months, only 6% died from the virus alone. The other 94% had serious comorbidities that (sadly) put them at a higher risk of death from anything that came along – and certainly from having sick people funneled into their nursing homes.

The officer who shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has been tried and convicted by Democrats, the media, and truth-be-damned activists before the case is resolved. It’s a mirror image of the Michael Brown shooting (the officer was cleared) in Ferguson, Missouri, and the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd (the officer has yet to go to trial). The difference is this time, pro athletes, pampered and well-paid, joined the mob.

Since at least the beginning of August, the web domain Antifa.com has redirected Internet users to the campaign website for Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden. What remains unknown is whether the redirect was established as a prank or because the left-wing extremists affiliated with Antifa genuinely support Biden, and whether not the Democrat presidential nominee is aware of the redirect. What’s known is that the domain Antifa.com has existed since 2002, according to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers:

One of the things that conservatives noted approvingly was the way that the Republican National Convention reached out to blacks. (snip) According to a Hill-HarrisX poll, Trump ended August with a nine percentage point increase among black voters compared to the beginning of August. Currently, 24% of registered black voters approve of what he’s doing. Meanwhile, Hispanic voters have also increased their approval by 2% over August, from 30% to 32%.
These numbers should strike fear in Democrat hearts, over and above their fear that the riots have torpedoed the huge polling lead that Biden had

There is some confusion in this story, so I’m going to give Benjamin Crump, the race-baiting ambulance chaser who represents the family of hospitalized sex-offender Jacob Blake, the benefit of the doubt and assume that he knows his butt from a hot rock.
Three days ago, Blake’s mother said President Trump had called:
Jacob Blake’s mother, Julia Jackson, said that President Donald Trump tried to call her in the aftermath of her son’s shooting, but she had missed it.
…
Jackson had on Tuesday called for national healing and condemned violent protest in a press conference led by her attorney, civil rights lawyer Ben Crump.

We have a partial answer. Last week, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
The Sierra Club is “celebrating” the event in an unusual way. It is dumping any association with John Muir, the “father of the national parks” who founded the Sierra Club back in 1892.

New York apparently does not include cases like the mother-in-law’s in totaling up the nursing home death count. Thus, New York is under counting the number of deaths that arose at such facilities.
Dean has long wanted to testify about New York state’s disastrous response to the coronavirus in nursing homes. However, she was removed from the witness list for a hearing by the legislature on this subject.

The air in Northern California was thick and yellow in November 2018. The hills were wrapped not in salty fog, but a thin layer of ashes, some of which were doubtlessly human remains. The Paradise Fire raged for over two weeks, burning through 150,000 acres and consuming 85 souls.
The air quality officially became ‘dangerous’. Not to sound like a whiny Californian, but under such conditions you become aware of taking a breath. Once it happens, life becomes oppressive. When the choice is between taking a deep breath to get some oxygen, or trying not to take too deep of a breath

The Democratic Party’s leadership and the Biden presidential campaign have once again underestimated the President and his reelection team. They assumed that, deprived of his trademark stadium rallies by coronavirus concerns, Trump would be unable to connect with the electorate and consequently fail to overcome the former Vice President’s purported lead. But a Republican National Convention whose tone was so much more positive and technically professional than its querulous and clumsy DNC counterpart, combined with Trump’s eminently presidential acceptance speech, is already eroding Biden’s poll numbers.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers urged President Trump to call off his trip to Kenosha this week — fearing the president’s visit to the city will “only hinder our healing.”
The governor made the plea in a Sunday letter, portraying Kenosha — where Jacob Blake, 29, was shot seven times by police on Aug. 23 — as a divided community that’s already on the mend.
“I, along with other community leaders who have reached out, are concerned about what your presence will mean for Kenosha and our state,” Evers wrote in his letter.

The arrests were related to the protests that have occurred every night, and have sometimes turned into destructive rioting, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Aug. 23.
Kenosha Police said in a media release that the arrests were from people located in 44 cities, although authorities didn't elaborate which states they came from. A total of 69 people were arrested for curfew violations.

Freshman Democrat Rep. Sean Casten, the same guy who’d previously smeared decorated Navy SEAL Rep. Dan Crenshaw as a “racist” and compared President Donald Trump to deceased terrorist Obama bin Laden, is back in the spotlight again.
In a dehumanizing, possibly sexist remark made during a webinar last weekend, he suggested to a college student that the only reason Second Amendment supporters want so desperately to own firearms is to make for up for their allegedly “small genitals.”
“If you are a constitutional originalist, unless you’re a member of a well-regulated militia, tell me why you need to own a gun?
