It's Trump's Republican Party Now

Before President Trump, the Republican Party, and the Democrat Party for that matter, were controlled by the ruling elites of their respective parties. (snip) George Carlin was right, “It’s a big club and you (and Trump) ain’t in it.” But Trump has turned that around. The GOP is now his club and the NeverTrump cranks ain’t in it and won’t be as long as Trump runs the club. As Ivanka Trump observed in her RNC speech, “Washington hasn’t changed Donald Trump. Donald Trump changed Washington.”

Donald Trump showed that republicans can be successful if they don't play defense all of the time. They need to accept this strategy and be proud to support conservative ideas. For many elections since Ronald Reagan, I cast my vote for the republican candidate because the opposition was a democrat. This November, I will proudly vote FOR DJT ! ! ! Proud to support making America Great Again!

Rush has been saying for decades that Republicans need to stop being so “moderate”, and fully embrace and implement conservative policies.

And the sooner that the President can replace the old, starched, and smelly fuddy duddies that pollute the republican party, the better.

All the more reason why we need Trump to win overwhelmingly in November. And why we need a like-minded successor waiting in the wings. The 'never-Trumpers' are hoping to wait us out - and we cannot let our Party return to the previous status quo.

Still lots of powerful men, like McConnell, who will be working to prevent conservatives being elected and to try to snap back to the globalist model as soon as Trump is off the stage. We definitely need this second term to have ANY chance of making this change stick. Even then, the Swamp is deep and filled with evil creatures, and they will NOT go easily or quietly.

Wait us out? These people have no understanding of their own mortality. People can delude themselves by claiming that 65 is the new 40. It's not, no matter how great you think you look and feel for your age.

It is, and it will never be Trump's GOP. PDT has an expiration date, either 2021 or 2025. And then what? Let's check 1989...Reagan bids adieu to Washington and "his" GOP which became the bailiwick of Bush41 and his ilk...which not only succeeded is losing the White House, but in creating the environment that led to PDT's ascendance and the UNIPARTY reaction to his election. The GOP is still treacherous, and there is no indication that will change. There remain a number of RINOs running for key Federal-level offices that are "hold you nose" votes for Trump supporters. And then there are the deserters and traitors...don't think they won't be back to reclaim former glory. And where will the Trumpistas turn?

One of the great grifter movies, aside from the Clinton and Obama presidencies, is The Sting. Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman) and Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford} team up, “to pull off a complicated scheme known simple as the Big Con,” a racket to crush Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw) and his empire. We have had several iterations of the Big Con over the past four years, with Gondorff and Hooker played by a rotating cast (snip) The latest sequel features Drs. Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx as the grifters and swindlers, using the Chinese coronavirus as the Big Con to keep President Trump from winning a second term in the White House.

The riotous outbursts sparking across American cities are a shot of epinephrine on the Trump campaign. (snip) Bided issued what any generous reading would regard as a threat: "Does anyone believe there will be less violence in America if Donald Trump is re-elected?" The not so tacit promise seems to be that the country will experience more, if not continued, mayhem should Trump win four more years. You can imagine the TV spot: "Elect me, or your local Dunkin' Donuts turns into Dante's inferno. I'm Joe Biden, and I approve this message."

Without the Wuhan virus, the Democrats have no meaningful opposition to Trump. Not only have the Democrats weaponized the Wuhan virus to destroy the economies under their aegis, but they’ve also repeatedly claimed that Trump killed 161,000 Americans. However, new CDC data shows that, of those Americans who died in the past seven months, only 6% died from the virus alone. The other 94% had serious comorbidities that (sadly) put them at a higher risk of death from anything that came along – and certainly from having sick people funneled into their nursing homes.

One of the things that conservatives noted approvingly was the way that the Republican National Convention reached out to blacks. (snip) According to a Hill-HarrisX poll, Trump ended August with a nine percentage point increase among black voters compared to the beginning of August. Currently, 24% of registered black voters approve of what he’s doing. Meanwhile, Hispanic voters have also increased their approval by 2% over August, from 30% to 32%. These numbers should strike fear in Democrat hearts, over and above their fear that the riots have torpedoed the huge polling lead that Biden had

It is stunning how many recent riots over purported racial injustice have been based on phony stories. (snip) what should the officers have done, confronted with Blake, armed with a deadly weapon and attempting to drive away the vehicle with 3 young children in it? The fact that he was able shrug off 2 tasers suggests he may have been on some mind-altering substance like methamphetamine, PCP, or angel dust. The children reasonably could be believed to be at risk in a vehicle fleeing arrest.

Joe Biden is in the Catch-22 of his political career, folks. If he stays in his basement, he faces the legitimate question of whether he’s fit — both physically and mentally — to assume the duties of the presidency. If he hits the campaign trail, he runs the risk of… Pittsburgh. The latter occurred on Monday, and it wasn’t a pretty sight. At all. Put another way, Joe had a very bad day in Pittsburgh. A really bad day.As my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported, Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday that went far beyond simple gaffes and pregnant pauses. The former vice president’s campaign is expected to announce this week a record-breaking August haul of more than $300 million, according to a report from the New York Times. The fundraising – split between the Biden campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and their shared committees – would appear to shatter the previous monthly record by a presidential campaign, which was set by then-Democratic nominee Barack Obama in September of 2008.
