A Manhattan judge became the latest victim of senseless city violence when she was cold-cocked by an apparent stranger on a bike while walking to work Monday, officials and law enforcement sources told The Post. Criminal court Judge Phyllis Chu, 56, had just gotten off the Staten Island Ferry and was headed to her job at the downtown courthouse at 100 Centre St. around 9:40 a.m. when she was suddenly slugged in the jaw by a male cyclist at the corner of Wall and Water streets. “With no words exchanged, a bicyclist riding in the opposite direction as the one she was walking

She was appointed by DeBozo. What are the odds that she is anything but an extreme leftist? Perhaps someone who knows NYC might know her history and see if she is the kind of judge who turns loose these thugs without any significant punishment. Might be a bit of getting blowback from her own judgements. Ultimately, NYC is a sewer.

A new lawsuit accuses McDonald’s of steering Black franchise owners to less-profitable restaurants and denying them the same opportunities offered to their white counterparts—a scheme described as a “Big Mac Attack” that allegedly fits the company’s decades-long pattern of “systemic and covert racial discrimination.” The complaint, filed Monday by 52 Black plaintiffs who once owned at least one McDonald’s store around the country, accuses the fast-food giant of misleading Black operators, denying them growth opportunities and the chance of buying more profitable stores, retaliating against them and eventually forcing them out.(Snip) “These neighborhood were the tough areas, often filled with

Graceland, the Elvis Presley estate that is Memphis' signature landmark and most popular tourist draw, was hit overnight with "Defund the Police" and "BLM" (Black Lives Matter) graffiti. Vandals also struck the Levitt Shell in Overton Park, spray-painting scrawled obscenities—"F--- TRUMP" and "F--- STRICKLAND," a reference to Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland—alongside "BLM," "Defund MPD," "EAT THE RICH" and other phrases. The Graceland vandalism was more elaborate, with "DEFUND MPD" and "BLM" painted in thick black letters on the sidewalk along Elvis Presley Boulevard, alongside "#DEFUND THE POLICE," "ABOLISH ICE" (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and other slogans sprayed in black and orange letters

Levittown, NY—In the U.S. Declaration of Independence, the phrase "created equal" is followed by the passage that Americans are "endowed… with certain unalienable rights," including "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." The writers and signers of the 1776 declaration were white, male property owners who extended those unalienable rights only to people like themselves. It wasn't until 1856 that all U.S. states allowed non-property owners the right to vote. Even that milestone allowed only white men to be full U.S. citizens, but the precedent had long been set—that ownership of property could be the root of inequity in the U.S. The discrimination and segregation

Kass, 84, was on his morning walk when he was attacked around 5:45 a.m. near West 107th Street and Riverside Drive. Police said the suspect said he was hungry and demanded money, rifling through Kass’s pockets and grabbing his wallet. The wallet fell to the ground and the attacker fled with nothing. The rabbi—the longest-serving member of the NYPD who’s served as top chaplain for 54 years—fell and hurt his shoulder, sources said. He refused medical attention at the scene.

Columbia University has removed the name of the founder of its medical school, who also served as George Washington’s doctor, from a campus dormitory because he was a slave owner. Samuel Bard, the founder of what is now Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, was a pioneer in obstetrics and the treatment of diphtheria, but also owned several slaves and once advertised promising a reward for the return of one who had run away. Flynn had fought District Judge Emmet Sullivan's decision to ask a third-party lawyer to argue against the Justice Department's dismissal in the case, and his plans to hold a hearing, which has not yet happened.
