Looks like somebody finally woke up Rip Van Biden. Perhaps they can now inform him that President Trump has not only been condemning this violence since the start but also offering and providing federal resources to stop it, despite the continued "resistance" by elected Democrat officials. I suggest he request that all Democrat officials also condemn it AND unleash their law-enforcement agencies to actually stop it, which so far they've been conspicuously avoiding.

I agree: late to the party. Trump condemned it weeks ago and doesn't need to reiterate what he's already said. Why isn't Biden condemning the stupid governors and Mayors for not enforcing the law and/or calling in National Guard for help? This is the Democrats responsibility - from properly training their police to crushing riots. They thought they could use this to their advantage. Notice all the violent Antifa appear to be white liberals? Round them up and execute them for sedition and treason. Track down their backers, and do the same. Crush them!!!

This is not complicated. Last weekend, in the aftermath of the GOP Convention that ended with the spectacular events surrounding Pres. Trump’s acceptance speech, the Biden Campaign announced that he would be traveling on Monday to give a speech. There was a clear sentiment inside the campaign that Biden had to get out of his basement in Wilmington, Delaware, and give a campaign-style speech as a form of rebuttal to the speech given by Pres. Trump. After the events in Kenosha last week, there was only one possible topic – especially in light of the rampant media speculation

One of the most famous clues in a Sherlock Holmes mystery is what’s commonly referred to as “the dog that didn’t bark” or, as Holmes actually said, “The dog did nothing in the night-time.” Rasmussen Reports, which puts out a Daily Presidential Tracking Poll like clockwork, noticed that its competitors ceased barking (or, if you prefer, polling) after the two parties held their conventions. According to Rasmussen, which would know, this silence was unprecedented. Rasmussen published a series of tweets on Monday openly snarking at its competitors for their silence. Moreover, whoever is writing Rasmussen’s tweets was not shy about identifying a reason for the other polling outfits’ unusual reticence:

Joe Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday. As we reported earlier, he tried to blame President Donald Trump for the riots violence despite the fact that it’s leftists behind the violence in Democratically-run cities who Trump has done everything to try to help. But there were some things beyond that that just screamed out for comment. So this apparently was Joe Biden’s audience, just media. There was no audience. Who exactly was he giving the speech to? That was bad enough. But the delivery of the speech showed the deep problems that the Democrats have with Biden.

Joe Biden will travel to western Pennsylvania on Monday to give remarks focused on how President Donald Trump has made America less safe, forgoing the chance to deliver that message in Wisconsin, where the president is planning a Tuesday visit. Biden faced mounting pressure to visit the battleground state amid violence after a police shooting in Kenosha. His decision to instead speak from Pennsylvania is designed to put some space between the violence and the former vice president as he continues to argue that the unrest in the city is an outgrowth of the president's rhetoric that inflames racial tensions. Joe Biden ridiculed President Donald Trump for some of the attacks he's made about the Democrat, while making the case he's the president who can bring people together, the opposite of Trump, who Biden said was 'poisoning our very democracy.' 'You know me, you know my heart, you know my story, my family story - ask yourself, do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters? Really?' Biden said from Mill 19, a converted steel mill, on a Monday trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, pushing back on team Trump's assertion that Biden's a leftist in cahoots with the most destructive protesters.

One day after rioters destroyed the Sports Dome retail complex in St. Paul, a construction crew hired by the city knocked the building down because it was dangerously unstable. Then the city presented the property owners with a $140,000 bill for what it would cost to haul away the debris. “We were really upset about that,” said property owner Jay Kim, whose insurance policy covers a maximum of $25,000 in demolition costs. “We thought that was high. But we didn’t know how much demolition would cost at the time.” Like dozens of other investors whose properties were severely damaged in the May riots,

Joe Biden is in the Catch-22 of his political career, folks. If he stays in his basement, he faces the legitimate question of whether he’s fit — both physically and mentally — to assume the duties of the presidency. If he hits the campaign trail, he runs the risk of… Pittsburgh. The latter occurred on Monday, and it wasn’t a pretty sight. At all. Put another way, Joe had a very bad day in Pittsburgh. A really bad day.As my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported, Biden gave a speech in Pittsburgh on Monday that went far beyond simple gaffes and pregnant pauses. A performance that left little doubt.

The officer who shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has been tried and convicted by Democrats, the media, and truth-be-damned activists before the case is resolved. It’s a mirror image of the Michael Brown shooting (the officer was cleared) in Ferguson, Missouri, and the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd (the officer has yet to go to trial). The difference is this time, pro athletes, pampered and well-paid, joined the mob. They should be ashamed of their behavior. They quit on the employers who pay their soaring salaries, and estranged themselves from their fans, who provide the dollars the owners

I have to admit, I came close to titling this, “Guess where Joe Biden will not go on Monday?” to play off Karen’s piece on Trump’s Kenosha visit but decided to pass. Humor is not really my forte if I’m honest, so it makes more sense to go with a different lede. Joe Biden is going to address racial tensions on Monday, but the talk won’t originate from Wisconsin. POLITICO reports Biden’s decision to skip Wisconsin is because of Trump’s visit (emphasis mine). Two sources with knowledge of the former vice president’s travel discussions say that while Biden is expected to travel, he will steer clear
