Chris Cuomo’s explosive recorded reaction to being called “Fredo” by a photograph seeker had the CNN anchor trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons.A video posted on the YouTube channel “THAT’S THE POINT with Brandon” showed Cuomo getting increasingly upset and even threatening violence during a verbal altercation with a man who called him “Fredo.”However, while plenty of F-bombs were being tossed about by the angry CNN anchor, the phrase that seemed to get the most attention on Twitter was his equating of labeling an Italian “Fredo” to calling an African-American person the “n-word.”

I am not an expert on all of government, but I do know something about the United States Senate. As the former majority leader, I know how tough it is to get anything through the chamber, (Snip) The Senate today, after years of abusing an arcane procedural rule known as the filibuster, has become an unworkable legislative graveyard. Not part of the framers’ original vision, the modern filibuster was created in 1917. The recent use of the filibuster — an attempt by a minority of lawmakers to delay or block a vote on a bill or confirmation — has exploited this rule,

Did Nikki Haley recruit the Mooch to “the resistance?” Over the weekend, fleeting Trump comms chief Anthony Scaramucci forcefully broke up with President Donald Trump in interviews and on Twitter, comparing the president to a nuclear reactor on the verge of a meltdown, and suggested the GOP may need to run a candidate against him in 2020. He followed it up with a tweet saying, “To those asking, ‘what took so long?’ You’re right. I tried to see best in [Trump] based on private interactions and select policy alignment. But his increasingly divisive rhetoric—and damage it’s doing to [the] fabric of our society—outweighs any short-term economic gain.”

Washington - The Marine killed in action Saturday in northern Iraq alongside Iraqi forces was a 35-year-old father of two who last year was named the Marine Raider’s top commando. Gunnery Sgt. Scott A. Koppenhafer was killed during operations against an Islamic State group in the expansive Ninevah province, where efforts are ongoing to clear the remnants of the terrorist group, (Snip) The Defense Department initially announced Koppenhafer was killed by “enemy small arms fire,” however two defense officials said the investigation was examining the possibility that he had been accidentally struck by Iraqi or American fire.

As the US Navy scrambles to adopt corrective measures following a string of warship collisions earlier this year, for now they are settling for such high-tech solutions as switching to basic compass and pencil navigation, giving sailors more time to sleep and actually turning on electronic systems that have been in place for years already. (Snip) What that means is that thanks to McCain's cool stealth features, such as radio-absorptive paint and deflective surfaces, the 150-meter long Arleigh-Burke destroyer likely appeared only as a misleadingly small blip on MPA's radar.
