Robert Johnson, co-founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET) and chairman of RLJ Companies, has pledged $500,000 to the campaign of Virginia Republican gubernatorial nominee Winsome Earle-Sears. The donation came after Earle-Sears, currently serving as Virginia’s lieutenant governor, was subjected to a racist attack during a protest outside an Arlington County School Board meeting on August 21.

If Robert Johnson was smart enough to become a billionaire, he surely is beyond wise enough to recognize that the Democrat Party of today, run by leftists, progressives, and socialists is the party that supports violent criminals, illegal aliens, and mental cases. None of those are good for legitimate business interests.

These "stunned" dems have that racist elderly lady to thank for Mr. Johnson's donation. She should be remembered in campaign ads as she is the current face of the deep racism that exists in the dem party. NO ONE at the rally told her to put her sign away UNTIL they noticed it was getting attention on social media. It was hunky-dory until that point.
A bit of soul-searching would be in order but most on the left don't seem to have souls to search.

We should remember that it was 100% Democrats that enacted Jim Crow laws like "colored" water fountains.

The black folk seem to be getting wise to the Democrat's hustle. Those paying attention are beginning to understand they've only been important when their votes are needed. Lyndon Johnson made the ploy pretty clear.

Leftist LBJ conned blacks and sent too many of them to fight and die in Vietnam, just as Sweetheart-Traitor Barry Boy Obama did to too many Americans, including Donald Trump, whom he has twice tried to assassinate. MAGA Vet.

The only reason someone would be "stunned" at this is because racists expect all black people to vote Democrat. That situation is dramatically changed since Trump - blacks voting GOP way up, ditto Hispanics. It should be a verity that black people are FAR better under a GOP POTUS than with Democrats, who have done Shinola for them for decades.

Lyndon Johnson used very crude and racist language to promise the democrats the black vote for the hundred years following his War on Poverty, Civil Rights Act and Great Society boondoggles. He missed his mark by forty years.

Maybe President Trump should make a Trip to VA and have a Rally for Winsome! His backing surely helped the current Gov. or VA when he was running!

Vietnam was a huge mistake, for it had been clear all along that “LBJ,” the Deep State, and the Military-industrial Complex knew, “there was plenty of money to be made. Supplying the Army with the tools of the trade.”
Too bad they killed 58,000 American kids and wounded a bunch more others while they were at it?

It's kind of ironic that so many of today's blacks support the democrat party when the first 8 or so elected to congress during the Reconciliation period after the Civil war were Republicans from the South.

Well folks...I have no idea what's this all about...but I guess the republicans are happy...and the democrats unhappy...so what's knew these past many months....why is it so difficult for the DNC to admit they made a BIG mistake with heels up harris and move on....defending their program of illegal rights and trans has left them nothing for 2016 election...

Early voting starts on September 19 and I agree with Scott Pressler, Republicans must get out early and vote! Do not wait until election day. Although Spanberger has a lot of support from the federal workers and libs in general who live in Northern Virginia, Charlottesville (UVA) and Richmond, the rest of the state of Red. If she had a D after her name, she would be on the cover of every magazine, getting fawning interviews, etc ad nauseum.

Liberals are the most deeply racist, condescending people on the planet. That’s why they have to fall all over anyone who’s Black. They have put the entire race neatly into a box labeled ‘Democrats’ and moved on to their next victims - mentally ill transsexuals and illegal immigrants. In the meantime some Blacks have started to escape while they weren’t paying attention.

The road to "billionaire" can be fortuitous in and of itself, but history always proves that it's the retention of the title as being the true challenge.

I notice that franco leans Democrat. So did I at one time. However, I learned over time that the Democrats told you what they thought would get you to vote for them, but seldom delivered. Over time they got to the point they never deliver. Trump, on the other hand delivers on his promises and he dragged the Republican Party over to his point of view. Now the Republicans are the party of the people. The Democrats have become the party of the Rich elites I believe that this is why Robert Johnson is backing Trump Republican Winsome Earle-Sears for governor.

#24: If you're referring to me (OP here), I'm perplexed and don't know what I've ever posted that would make anybody think I lean Democrat. I don't want to doxx myself, but I've never voted for a Democrat for president in my life. My only vote for a non-Republican for president was H. Ross Perot (the little dictator) in 1992. And I've lived long enough to regret my vote for most of the Democrats to seats in Congress and at the state level. At the local level, I don't think I've ever voted for a Democrat, either. Odd how my writing "leans Democrat..."
