Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday said the Pentagon would no longer allow Chinese nationals to work as coders on Department of Defense (DOD) cloud systems.
A program previously allowed Chinese developers to work as “digital escorts” in a role modeled by Microsoft, where foreign nationals remain under the supervision of remote U.S. contractors.
Hegseth said the effort “exposed” the department to “unacceptable risks.”

I’d like to know who in the DOD and/ or Microsoft thought it was a good idea to let Chinese nationals play with the coding. Does anyone doubt that most of our Defense Dept. plans are now in the hands of Beijing?

And how much 'too late' is this decision? What moron allowed this in the first place?

Somewhere in recent news I read or heard it has been determined that the Biden family got $31 million from the Chinese. This was probably part of the payment to them. Lord knows what else they got.

I wonder how much the Chicoms were able to leverage their access .... IT guys typically have pretty 'deep' access permissions..... how much of the US systems they were able to access.
I notice that the new Chicom 'next-gen' fighter plane looks a LOT like a twin-engine F35.
I wonder how much of the F35 design information they were able to steal.
.... and as an earlier poster noted, heaven knows what else they got their mitts onto.
I recall that under The Horndog's term in office, the Chicoms were able to 'acquire' the designs for the W87 and W88 miniaturized atomic warheads, our most advanced designs at the time. The Horndog also SOLD them the designs for the missile guidance systems used to put satellites in orbit..... or reprogrammed with the coordinates to put their new Chinese-copy atomic warheads on American cities.
I also recall that Zero distributed the 'President's Daily Brief' intelligence reports to his staff electronically.... including, I assume, his Sec. of State, the HildeBeast, who used her 'Private Server' to avoid Federal law regarding recordkeeping. This 'Private Server' was apparently hacked by Everyone.... China, Russia, Iran, India, Israel, France, Britain....even Outer Tonbuglia (that last is a sarcasm)..... but pretty much everyone had a copy of the most important of the most important US Intelligence during Zero's term in office.
I recall reading that the ChiComs 'rolled up' and murdered the whole American intelligence network in China at the time.
.......And the 'Rats say that President Trump is 'careless with classified information'!

The barn door is now closed but the horses have been free for a long time and are eating grass in the neighboring pastures over the hill. All of our defense facilities (Wuhan, etc.) and manufacturing companies have been operating in China since the 1980s to "save money" on labor costs and to engage in nefarious activities not legal in the US. They even participated in our elections.

This country has been run very poorly for a very long time. I hope we have been pulled back from the cliff's edge, but I fear we are in free fall.

I would estimate it would take several years to discover any hidden codes but with AI it should take less than a minute--of course it would expose everything to AI and then you have to trust the AI technology not to make it worse.

There should be TREASON charges brought against ALL who had a part in that unbelievable act, all the way up to and including Obama. Microsoft should be especially worried right now too.

The Chinese were smart...they knew that they couldn't conquer America on land or sea...so the invaded our secret Microsoft system and stole our information...with the help of the BaracjHUSSEINObama and. biden staff to open the doors for china and the takeover....and after all...Biden wanted to be friends and compete with china...

In exchange, the Chinese purchased five original, signed paintings by America's most famous artist.

Microsoft spares no expense for the personal security of its executives who are threatened by employees sympathetic to middle eastern reprobates, but apparently has little concern for the national security of the country where they are domiciled and which has made possible many millionaires and billionaires. The compromise of DOD secrets must be worth billions... wonder if the "big guy" was getting 10% here...
