Top British Army Officer Predicts Civil

Retired British Army Colonel Richard Kemp has said the primary risk the UK faces is from an alliance “of the hard left and Islamist extremists” and that he fears civil war because politicians are too myopic to take action. Colonel Richard Kemp, a high-profile Infantry officer who fought counter insurgency on home ground in Northern Ireland in the 1980s, served in the Gulf war and Bosnia, commanded an Afghanistan operation, and who had political-facing senior roles in Westminster including the powerful Joint Intelligence Committee and the Cabinet Office crisis centre COBRA, has expressed concern about unrest and even civil war potentially breaking out in Britain.

Comments:

I'm reminded of that old Euro-weenie bromide that "fascism is coming to America" but then it somehow always seems to land in Europe. UK may well be headed for civil war. Problem is, what comes afterward might be worse.

That's the problem. British 'government' plays politics when they need to be governing. It's all about power and wealth instead. Politics never solved anything. Don't feel bad, Britain. Most countries have the same problem.

Too bad for the Brits they surrendered all their guns. Made it a lot easier to erase all their other rights. American citizens sent them civilian arms in WW2 to fight off the nazis on the home front. After the war the citizens turned them all into the government. I doubt we will be wasting our personal arms again. Some people just dont appreciate freedom and will surrender it at the drop of a hat.

Re #6, a piece of American 3/4" cast iron water pipe is the perfect fit for a 12 gauge shotgun shell. Not hard to rig a breech and firing mechanism. But that's not going to cut it against modern military weapons. Perhaps use makeshift stuff to capture real arms. The Irish managed to smuggle in guns for their fight against the Brits in the 60s thru 80s and later. I don't think they've got the spine for it.

Britannistan is ruled by people who think a rabid dog makes a cuddly pet.I don't count King Chuckles the Last. Defending British sovereignty, culture and language doesn't even appear on their radar. And sadly for them, their Mooselimb invaders are far more adept at killing with a knife than Brits are. Plus, the invaders breed like flies. Their political leaders are worse than cowards; they are enablers. And Kemp can only say these things because he is retired.

Kemp properly identifies the alliance of the hard left and muslims as the true enemy of Britain and he's also correct that the UK is now beyond a political solution to the mass migration problem. The only practical solution is to either deport all of the migrants or act in force on them. The problem is that the state (Britain's ruling class) is also aligned with the hard left and the muslims. Britain is on a path towards national suicide. Native Britons could rise up in a civil war but they are not armed so I'm skeptical that they would emerge victorious at the other side of such a conflict.

When I read the average reader response to JD Vances visit to the middle of the island, I really don't find much concern about whatever happens to those British mushmouths. ALWAYS shooting their mouths off about Americans and trashing President Trump. Dolts, like the slob Jeremy Clarkson, a lardbutt with a 1,000 acre farm. That's a lot of land on a tiny island, but the average Brit doesn't seem to mind, because he isn't American. The heck with the limeys. No wonder my dad always talked about the Scots Irish part of his family tree, vs the English.

Beijing is quietly discouraging Chinese firms, particularly those tied to state and/or national security interests, from using Nvidia's H20 AI chips, even after the Trump administration reversed a U.S. sales ban in exchange for 15% of related revenue. The move follows Beijing's concerns over a potential "backdoor" in the H20, an allegation Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has rejected. The report comes from the Financial Times, which states that regulators at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) instructed tech companies, such as Alibaba and ByteDance, to explain why they need H20 chips instead of sourcing domestic alternatives.
