Indian Politician Defends Indian U-Turn Trucker

Original Article

Posted By: franco, 8/26/2025 7:06:46 AM

India’s government should oppose a U.S. government crackdown on the 150,000 Indian drivers in the U.S. trucking industry, said an Indian politician whose district includes many of the drivers’ families. Harsimrat Kaur Badal represents a district in the Punjab region, which is home to many members of the Sikh ethnic group who work illegally or legally in the U.S. trucking industry. They include the Indian truck driver, Harjinder Singh, who is facing homicide charges after killing three Americans in a turnpike U-turn.

Comments:

Ms. Badal has a big mouth, and she runs it safely inside of the Punjab in defense of indefensible actions by unqualified and often illegal alien truck drivers of Punjabi origin. I suspect she would be more circumspect about such language elsewhere in India. Meantime, I expect her attempts at foreign intervention in the American justice system will be met with a hostile response. Just say no to man-slaughtering turbanators driving 18-wheelers on US roads!

Anyone like Badal who defends this illegal trucker who took three lives on the Turnpike is a bad person who should never be allowed anywhere near the USA. They're just revealing who they are, and they're not the best. Anti-human tribalists. Scroom.

Good grief. These leftists could not care less about the three innocent victims of this man's willful incompetence. If I was to embark on a career as an over the road trucker, I would at the very least learn to read road signs! This guy obviously did not care. His was not a "mistake", it was willful disregard. "Oh please, pay no attention to safety and the law, and let these incompetent illegals drive on your roads!"

Unbelievable! I have to obey road signs. But illegals can do anything they want in this country! I hope PRESIDENT Trump stops all money transfers to other countries by these illegals. That is so wrong. Shut down that trucking company and any other business that hires illegals. It has to stop!

American citizens don’t owe the people of India livelihoods. The Sikh leaders quoted here speak as though there is some law that makes the U.S. open territory for anyone to enter and exploit, an attitude that is not confined to India. It is the mindset of the whole machinery creating and protecting illegal immigration. There is no humility or shame or remorse on the part of illegals and their handlers for dead Americans, only defense of a system that enriches them despite their disdain for U.S. citizens. Thank God for Pres. Trump. I hope he targets illegal truck drivers especially after the death of the three innocents. Get them all out.

Any driver who did what this fool did would be charged with vehicular manslaughter. This went viral because the dude is an illegal who can barely speak English yet was given a CDL license. He’s liable, the trucking company that hired him is liable, and the State of California is liable. No amount of whining by Indians matters.

"When we last spoke, about 10–15 days before this incident, he told me he planned to return to India in around two years.” HOLD THE PHONE!! I thought he told an immigration judge that he was afraid to return to India and that is why he needed asylum. That is the reason he avoided the Trump 45-era deportation order. Sounds to me like he LIED to the immigration judge in order to illegally stay in the U.S.!! IMHO, these so-called “wire-transfer migrants" should not be allowed to stay in the US!! As someone else stated, the US does not owe the rest of the world a living!! Let them take that problem up with their respective governments!!

Any illegal discovered living in this country should be immediately deported. No hearing, no trial, just sent back to the shole that they came from or they will ruin this country just like the one that they came from. Claiming that they would be in "danger" if they returned is a lie in 99% of the cases. Just another way to come here and take advantage of Uncle Sucker. There should be a list of countries whereby no one from those countries should even be granted a visa. We now have the only President who has the cojones to do it.

I remember Ice Road Truckers doing a season over in India. The death rate (in India) from auto accidents is sky high and its due to their lack of traffic laws and their enforcement. The general rule of the road over in India is do whatever you can get away with. If someone dies, thems the breaks, and hope the person that died is not connected to anyone with influence. Apparently, this Indian Representative thinks America should adopt Indian traffic laws. This garbage comes about because all countries are all supposed to be 'equal'. It's just another example of the insanity of equality. Should we adopt Indian traffic laws because we are 'equal'? Only if you want to set back traffic safety by a century. Of course, the anti-America crowd that hates everything American loves this.

When we visit foreign countries, we rent a car and drive. I have driven many times on the wrong side of the road in Britain and Scotland, and in South Africa. I have driven in most European countries many times. When we vacationed in India, when my wife had been working there for a few months, we were warned strenuously by her Indian colleagues against driving in India. If there is an accident, we were warned, you will be put in jail and the adjudication WILL BE that it was your fault as a "rich American" and you'll remain in jail until you pay massive fines. We hired drivers and rode on public transport. Hired drivers were very cheap.

President Trump went on a late-night attack against NBC and ABC News on Sunday, deriding them for what, in his view, was "biased" coverage and said he would be in favor of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revoking their licenses. The Republican president said the news outlets had given him negative coverage on "97%" of stories. It wasn’t clear from where Trump was citing the "97%" figure. A study released earlier this year by the conservative media watchdog group, Media Research Center (MRC), found that coverage of the president’s first 100 days in office was "92% negative."

The answer was not Trump alone. Indeed, irony abounds when Democrats resonate with the claims of the vestigial Never Trumpers that the MAGA movement “hijacked” the Republican Party. In characteristic projectionist fashion, the left is simply falsely attributing to their opposition the very hijacking that hit the Democratic Party. The Republicans are still the party of conservatism and traditionalism. But in the last decade, it adopted an expansionary middle-class agenda that has led to record party registration, its first popular presidential vote victory since 2004, and control of all three branches of government.
