Chicago's far-left leadership just made its priorities crystal clear—criminal illegal aliens first, federal law second. Mayor Brandon Johnson (D) has signed an executive order aimed at blocking federal immigration authorities from doing their jobs in the city, even as Chicago grapples with out-of-control crime, an illegal immigration crisis, and mounting public frustration. The order openly declares that city police will not assist federal agents in arresting or removing illegal immigrants, even those with criminal records. Instead, the city’s law department has been instructed to use “any and every legal mechanism” to target the federal government for trying to enforce immigration laws.

That leftist Democrat mayor had better watch out, as the Federal Government is supreme when it comes to the administration and enforcement of the immigration and nationality laws. He would not think it is funny when he finds himself looking out of a federal jail cell.

If they want to be so independent of the Federal Govt, I say, cut off all Fed Aid to the city -- I mean ALL Fed aid to the city.

This is clearly obstruction of justice, and should be prosecuted.

And yet the left cheered when they locked up the J6rs and killed an innocent woman. Now they say we are destroying democracy trying to stop the daily murders in an out of control city.

Isn't obstructing Federal Immigration enforcement a felony? I bet Tom Homan is already licking his chops. Brandon (Let's go to jail) Brandon will be a great example of what not to do for mayors of other blue cities.
And at the same time, his "constituents" are applauding immigration enforcement. Another 20/80 issue the DemoRoids are on the wrong side of.

Arrest this fool. Then cart him around Chicago in an open paddy wagon allowing residents to show him how they feel about his boneheaded decisions.

Tom Homan should go in with the first ICE team to the mayor's office and arrest him for violating 8 USC 1324. By now Homan has the whole statute committed to memory...

Perfect....their lawsuit against Trump to stop him from deploying "Help" cites a limitation of his presidential militia powers except in the case of revolution, insurrection or rebellion against the Federal Govt....He has now confirmed he is in direct and open "Rebellion" against Federal Law, and federal law enforcement, as well as against the lawful US President, his agencies, and the Govt itself...

The president could move the Navy's Aviation Officer Candidate School back to Pensacola, Florida where it started and where it belongs. Closing Great Lakes Naval Training Center and disbursing its staff between San Diego and Orlando could also be done with the stroke of a pen. If Newsome still wants to play games, move Naval facilities in San Diego to Corpus Christi and several Marine bases and facilities to San Antonio. Why keep supporting state and local governments that do not wish to be a functional part of the U.S?

Bum Billiken is a very dangerous moron. How about close O'hare airport for a while? It's gerrymandered to be part of Chicago. They get the mountainous sales taxes. And, the fictional character of that name, per Wikipedia: 'The Billiken was monkey-like with pointed ears, a mischievous smile and a tuft of hair on his pointed head.' I still think he does his hair that way to encourage a subconscious association with, again Wiki: god of things as they ought to be.

If the Chicago Police won't help and their black chief says they will not, double the number of National Guard troops and arrest all who obstruct this operation, including Bungling Brandon. This deportation process affects the entire country, not just one messed up city.

This is an empty gesture meant as a political stunt to get attention. His ‘order’ is illegal, unconstitutional, and not worth the paper it’s printed on. I’m really curious about how, with 17% approval, he’s going to gin up Blacks to riot over the removal of illegals that they want gone to begin with. I’m sure he can get some arson and looting going, but that won’t get in Tom Homan’s way. The Feds are coming.

I got a better idea. Advise the locals that it's time to leave. Use those federal guards to patrol the perimeter of the Chicago city limits and keep all the illegal alien criminals in place. That will give the good Mayor the opportunity to provide all the city services (that remain) to his invited guests.

I can't say which is would prefer to witness.
This "mayor" that the enlightened citizens of Chicago voted in, be squashed like a bug. Or...... just sit back with a crate of popcorn and watch the inevitable unintended consequences roll in. I mean, the entire state and local governments have thrown their own citizens overboard in favor of illegals and criminals. How long before the voting citizens figure this out and change course?
