During his arraignment on Thursday, Donald Trump was warned by Magistrate Judge Moxila A. Upadhyaya that he could be "held pending trial" if he violated the strict conditions of his release. The former president was allowed to return to his summer home in Bedminster, New Jersey, but only after agreeing to abide by the conditions agreed upon by prosecutors and the defense. Trump "must not violate federal or state laws; he must appear in court as required; he must sign an appearance bond; and he must not communicate about the facts of the case with anyone Trump knows to be a witness, except through counsel or in presence of counsel."

A third grader will tell you that this entire sequence of activities is not being conducted in good faith. It is directly impinging on the basic right of tens of millions of citizens to freely choose their government. In fact that is exactly why it is being pursued. This is a serious threat to the basic nature of our government. Time for the SCOTUS to step in - like Bush vs Gore - and put an end to this farce. Stop all activity until after the ‘24 election. Whether Trump is a nominee or not.

Tucker Carlson’s latest episode of his show on X, formerly known as Twitter, aired Thursday and it certainly was a bang-up one. It featured an interview with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund. As Tucker explained, he’d filmed an interview with Sund earlier in the year (when he was still working for Fox). It was scheduled to run on Monday, April 24, Carlson said. Then Carlson was let go from Fox that Monday morning and the interview never aired. Because the interview footage is owned by Fox, Tucker can’t run it. So instead he invited Sund to come on his X show and tell what he knew.

Even with all of the other significant and disturbing news cropping up on a daily basis, the legacy media continues to obsess over the fact that it sometimes gets hot in July and August in the northern hemisphere. Shocking… I know. But our intellectual betters aren’t satisfied with simply noting that it’s hot out. They want to ensure that we know why it’s hot out. At the top of the list, of course, is climate change. The smarter people are pretty sure they’ve come up with the missing factor. Amazingly, the oceans in particular may be warming up because of… wait for it… cleaner air.

Instead of sitting down with members of the White House press corps for questioning, Biden will join the Weather Channel for an interview.

President Joe Biden is proving to be President Xi’s perfect patsy to help him achieve his grand ambitions. President Biden remains under the dangerous delusion that China is merely a vigorous competitor, not the U.S.’s chief adversary that is determined to replace America as the world’s number one military, economic, and technological superpower. President Biden is on a fool’s mission to explore whether there are areas of mutual interest where the Chinese regime might be willing to genuinely cooperate with the United States.

In February, the Texas attorney general sued the Biden administration, arguing the House of Representatives lacked the constitutionally mandated quorum to pass the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023. Paxton is now seeking a preliminary injunction to bar the federal government from enforcing the law.
