Mike Lindell, the controversial CEO of MyPillow, said Tuesday that his cellphone had been seized by the FBI.
In an episode of his show, the Lindell Report, the election skeptic said the seizure took place at a Hardee’s drive-thru while driving back to his home in Mankato, Minnesota.
Two cars blocked his vehicle in the pickup lane and Mr. Lindell, according to a clip of the show at The Post Millennial, told his traveling buddy that “that’s either a bad guy, or it’s FBI.”
The CEO and ally of former President Donald Trump said he asked the officers if they were going to arrest him.

Medical school and postgraduate training is a long and arduous journey, often taking 8-10 years beyond college. There is much to learn, process and assimilate. Clinical judgement stems not only from experience but also from intelligence.
Medicine is a high stakes game. Sickness and health lie in the balance, as does life and death (or vision and blindness in my professional world of retina surgery). Medical errors can be due to accidents, incorrect judgement calls, or lack of knowledge.
When your health or life is on the line, you want the smartest physician caring for you, making critical decisions, or performing challenging surgery.

Massachusetts voters will have a chance to repeal a law allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses.
The bill was vetoed in May by Republican Governor Charlie Baker. But in another case of ruling against the will of the people, the veto didn’t stick. So strongly do Democrats in the state legislature feel about illegals voting that they went all in and overrode the veto.
Nevertheless, the people will have the final say, as the ballot measure’s approval was announced on Friday.
“It just shows how out of touch the Democratic Legislature is with the will of the people,” Massachusetts GOP chairman Jim Lyons told the Boston Herald.

For several weeks now Micki Witthoeft, the mother of deceased Capitol protester Ashli Babbitt, has held a nightly protest outside the Washington DC prison and political prisoner gulag.
On Tuesday President Trump called Micki and the protest crowd outside the DC Gulag.
The speakers were blaring so hopefully the abused political prisoners inside could hear him.
This was incredible! President Trump called Micki who he has called before.
President Trump: Well, Micki it’s an honor to be with you and everyone listening. It’s a terrible thing that has happened to a lot of people that are being treated very, very unfairly.

Nearly 100 members of Congress bought or sold financial assets that intersected with the work of the committees they sit on, according to a New York Times report. Of the 435 House members, 183 traded stocks through themselves or their immediate family members from 2019 to 2021. At least 97 bought or sold stocks, bonds or other financial assets through themselves or their spouses that directly intersected with their congressional work. US lawmakers are not yet banned from making any stock trades, though insider trading is illegal for everyone. The trades that intersect with committee work are split evenly on partisan lines-49 Republicans and 48 Democrats.

We saw in our earlier report about the inflation numbers that the news was not good for the American consumer — that core CPI went up sharply in August, even with gas prices dropping. That’s not a good sign and an indication that the rosy picture that the Biden team would like to paint of inflation is not reality.
The report has many economists concerned, and stock futures took a tumble Tuesday morning at the news, as the markets reacted to the new CPI data. Economists had predicted a lower annual inflation rate for August, and the 8.3 percent finding sent future tied to the S&P 500 down 1.4 percent,

So much for the second iteration of “inflation’s over!” Today’s consumer price index report shows year-on-year inflation still roaring at 8.3%, thanks in part to soaring food costs, which offset a plateau on gasoline prices.
However, even without food and energy, inflation picked up steam last month, as core CPI rose back above six percent year-on-year, and 0.6% month-on-month:

Republicans have the potential for a surprisingly big victory come this November's midterm elections.
On virtually every front, people are finding themselves frustrated and frightened by a Democratic Party that is simply failing.
Ignore the media’s efforts to get you to focus on 2024 presidential politics and the unending effort to smear President Donald Trump. Your job is to stay focused on the issues that matter in the lives of everyday people. The cost-of-living crisis, especially the skyrocketing cost of food, comes first.

A newly unearthed video shows Charlie Crist, the Democratic nominee for Florida governor, comparing himself to Jesus Christ and calling Republican governor Ron DeSantis “DeSatan.”
The video, which was shared by DeSantis’s campaign on Monday, is from a March 17 event, according to the Daily Caller.
Crist suggested the race for governor in the Sunshine State is about “decency” and “being kind to everyone” before saying of DeSantis, “You know some people call him DeSatan? Have you heard that?” “DeSatan versus that,” Crist said, gesturing to a sign behind him featuring his own name, and one of the event attendees said, “Christ!”
Crist responded, “Oh think about it! Boom!”

Far-left activists including David Brock, the founder of Media Matters and former Democratic Senate Majority leader Tom Daschle are targeting Trump attorneys in an attempt to deter conservatives from challenging any future election fraud schemes by the left.
The 65 Project says they are “protecting democracy” by taking actions to destroy democracy in America.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Media Matters numerous times in the past 18 years.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Sunday said the mentality held by some Republicans needs to change when it comes to corporations, reminding the GOP that “corporatism is not the same as free enterprise.”
Speaking at the National Conservatism conference in Miami, the Florida governor beat back commonly-held beliefs, casting his vision for how Republicans should view big business and the economy in modern America.

Tuesday, during an appearance on NBC’s “Today,” first lady Jill Biden acknowledged she had not yet discussed her husband, President Joe Biden’s 2024 political plans.
“Not yet,” she said. “He’s been a little bit too busy. Not yet, but I’m sure they’ll be discussions.”
However, the first lady suggested he should run again.
“You know, it is taxing,” Biden added. “But look at all that Joe has done. He has kept true to what he said he would do. So, I just think he needs to keep going.”

Over at the storied and statusy Guggenheim Museum in New York, they've got some wokester civility culture going on in that temple of high art.
A sympathetic writer from the left-leaning Atlantic wanted to do a story about the claimed racist travails of the museum's wokester curator ... and got her head bit off. (Snip for tweet) John Sexton at Hot Air reported on all the charm going on among these hoity-toities:
That’s the most bland, polite email seeking an interview I’ve ever read. It’s entirely professional and not the least bit upsetting in any way. And notice Lewis did not “literally demand” anything as LaBouvier claims.

Inflation rose more than expected in August, continuing to create severe financial pressure for U.S. households even as the cost of gasoline fell. The Labor Department said Tuesday that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price for everyday goods including gasoline, groceries and rents, rose 8.3% in August from a year ago. Prices climbed 0.1% in the one-month period from July. Those figures were both higher than the 8.1% headline figure and 0.1% monthly decline forecast by Refinitiv economists, likely a worrisome sign for the Federal Reserve as it seeks to cool price gains and tame consumer

No matter who does abortion polling, it’s clear that the Democratic Party platform and their agenda of abortion through all nine months, for any reason at all and with taxpayer funding, is a loser with most Americans. Given all the recent stories claiming that Democrats are rising in the polls because of their support for abortion, a fact check is needed. The math contradicts today’s popular narrative because Americans don’t want the radical abortion agenda pushed by Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer.
Case in point: A Harvard Harris poll in June of this year found that not only did voters have tremendous concerns about the economy,

I realize in advance that this message is futile, but I will try once again. Republicans/conservatives are in the habit of repeating the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over, and never learning from their mistakes, much less changing tactics. Their slogan is, “It didn’t work last time? Or the time before then? Or the time before that? Then we must try harder at doing the same thing!”
Don’t forget, the Republican Party has been known for years (by their own constituents!) as The Stupid Party. And for good reason (just to take one example out of many, Republicans did not fight in Alaska to prevent

Our American republic did quite well for nearly a century without the IRS or its forerunner, the Office of the Commissioner of Revenue. Today, federal “revenooers” are the greatest threat to freedom in a country where liberty is already being lost at an alarming rate.
The IRS is more than a mere revenue collector for the federal government. It has often been used an instrument of intimidation, even terror, against political foes, and those who might not be so enthusiastic about paying income taxes, or simply have a financial hardship that limits their ability to pay.

In the history of American social movements, September 11 may take on new significance. September 11, 2022, is the day the powers that be allowed LGBWithoutTheT to trend on Twitter. In broad daylight, lesbians and gays disassociated themselves from the transgender movement, and Twitter gave them a platform. This was a major turnaround. Just a month earlier Twitter had banned “Gays Against Groomers” for “hateful conduct.” (snip) With the elections just two months away, the increasingly noisy and oppressive trans movement was becoming too much of a political liability.

A new pre-print study by nine health experts from major universities showed that the COVID-19 vaccines are 98 times worse than the virus, and mandatory booster vaccination in college is “ethically unjustifiable,” as reported by Epoch Times.
The study was posted on The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) in September, titled, “COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters for Young Adults: A Risk-Benefit Assessment and Five Ethical Arguments against Mandates at Universities.“
It was conducted by nine top scientists from the University of Washington, University of Oxford, University of Toronto, Harvard University – Harvard Medical School, University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Johns Hopkins University – Department of Surgery, and others.

Berlin, Germany — A senior Israeli official called on Europe and the US on Monday to begin talking about demands for a “longer, stronger” nuclear agreement with Iran, saying current talks aimed at reviving a 2015 pact were dead after Jerusalem provided proof that Tehran had not been forthright during negotiations.
The official, traveling with Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s delegation to Berlin on Monday, spoke to reporters hours after the premier said he passed German Chancellor Olaf Scholz “sensitive and relevant intelligence information” on Iran’s nuclear program, and a day after Germany, France, and the United Kingdom issued a statement expressing “serious doubts” over Iran’s sincerity in seeking a nuclear agreement.

I don’t know, and neither do the experts who are charged with predicting them.
Hard as it is to believe, our models about how the climate and weather work are not quite as reliable as we have been told. Again and again and again….
Ars Technica has an interesting story that does a fine job of pointing out the huge disconnect between the experts’ predictions of a vicious hurricane season and the welcome lack of tropical storms this year.
Back in May NOAA predicted an above average year for tropical storms and hurricanes, and they had reasons to. They claimed that “ongoing La Niña, above-average Atlantic temperatures

Joe Biden on Monday delivered remarks on the Cancer Moonshot initiative and his goal of ending cancer at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts. Dementia Joe is going to cure cancer. “Today, I signed an executive order that directs the federal government to ensure biotechnologies invented in the United States of America are made in the United States of America,” said Biden. Biden’s speech was full of gaffes and awkward moments. At one point Joe Biden pointed to cancer patients sitting on the balcony and told them not to jump.
Joe Biden also mispronounced the name of the Director of the National Cancer Institute, Monica Bertagnolli
