Blame Democrats’ massive spending spree
for our economic crisis

For two years, families have experienced the dire consequences of massive government spending at the gas pump , the grocery store, and elsewhere. Two years of Democrats’ one-party control in Washington was all it took for basic day-to-day needs to become more and more unaffordable for millions of hardworking people. Indeed, a report released in June found that more than half of the public is now living paycheck to paycheck. They have Democrats’ one-party rule in Washington to blame and the Biden administration’s expansion of government spending and new regulations, which has led us to a 40-year high inflation rate, economic stagnation, and lower wages

Roger is my 25th district Congressman. He’s a successful businessman, conservative, & a patriot. Hopefully, he’ll show strong leadership when we take back the house. Couple of complaints; I wish he defended the incarcerated J6 political prisoners better. Haven’t heard a peep about the targeting of political opponents by Biden’s justice.

Saw this coming. Money is tight in our family. We don’t go out and charge a bunch of money on our credit card to buy things we don’t need because that will put us deeper in debt. What is with Biden giving billions of dollars to Ukraine when Americans need our own country rebuilt.

Yes, the country is experiencing massive inflation thanks to overexuberant Democrat spending. And yes, the Republicans have tried to unsuccessfully block that spending. So who will get he blame for our current financial problems? To listen to Biden. Democrats, and the lap dog media, the problem was not the spending spree with the nations maxed out credit cards. Nope! The problem is the Republicans for calling attention to and trying to stop the spending spree. Republicans said that this would happen but the Democrats and their media allies said no, you just hate Joe Biden, poor people, and people of color. You only want to help the rich. I guess there are enough gullible people around who will always buy the liberal Democrat line hook and sinker. Like a fish, they are reeled in and caught, hooked by the bait of free food coming their way. Their ultimate fate once reeled in and caught, like a fish, does not always turn out so great for them.

#2 - Funny you should mention Ukraine and rebuilding America in the same sentence. If the war were to end tomorrow, those billions of dollars will continue to flow in order to begin rebuilding there - not here. Two years of Democrats’ one-party control in Washington was all it took for basic day-to-day needs to become more and more unaffordable for millions of hardworking people. Oh, and now we're looking at a rail strike. Basic day-to-day needs will soon be come unavailable as well as unaffordable.

Need to link the extreme policies of the Democrats to the likelihood your children and grand-children will have fewer opportunities in life. How those policies are making it harder to "climb the economic ladder" for most. After all, they want people to have less of nearly everything, which will reduce the economic engine that enables "a rising tide to lift all boats".

This use of the word "spending" by our government upsets me so much. How can you spend money you do not have? Is this what "deficit spending" means? i.e., spending money you do not have. Will the government just raise the limit on the credit card so we'll really be beholden to whomever is lending us the money. We really will be under their thumb then. Is the lender China? Could someone please inform us dumb citizens who are still trying to understand the meaning of deficit spending just who is lending us the money to "spend"?

It is economics 101 that eighteen months after monetary expansion, prices start rising. Exactly 18 months ago Central Bankers all over the Western world started going recklessly out of control. Add to that the complete control of all three (WH, Senate, House) by the Democrats and you have today's inflation. Nothing 'unexpected' about it. Doesn't require Milton Friedman.

The surge of migrants moving west to the El Paso Border Patrol Sector led to the apprehension of approximately 30,000 in August, a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection says. The trend overwhelmed the sector’s detention capacity, forcing agents to carry out street releases. Agents in the El Paso Sector jumped into the number two spot with the apprehension of just under 30,000 migrants, Breitbart Texas reported. This is up from approximately 25,000 apprehended in July. With one month to go in the fiscal year, agents in the El Paso Sector apprehended nearly 260,000 migrants. The westward movement of the migrant surge caused detention centers in the El Paso Sector

As we reported, a search warrant was executed at the home of longtime Los Angeles politician and former child actor Sheila Kuehl (D-Santa Monica) around 7 AM local time Wednesday morning. In an impromptu interview with Fox11 Los Angeles about an hour later, Kuehl quickly cast the incident as a “bogus search” spurred by an “obsessed” former LA Metro employee that LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva simply went along with. However, it was soon reported that the warrant related to “an ongoing public corruption investigation” and was executed by LASD and federal agents, and that warrants were concurrently served

GOP politicians who are Christians use scripture in their speeches. GAAAAAAAASP! Grab the fainting couch! I know. You’re not really shocked or appalled, but this information came as news to the Miami Herald’s Ana Ceballos, particularly when it comes to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), who Ceballos’ article says is “playing with fire.” The reporter goes all the way back to February to cite a speech DeSantis made at Hillsdale College to make her point. “Put on the full armor of God. “Homelessness in New York City has reached the highest levels since the Great Depression of the 1930s,” the Coalition for the Homeless reports. After decades of failure, New York City homelessness keeps getting worse. The only people who appear to be benefiting are the ones who make a pretty penny “serving” the homeless. The homeless–an ever expanding group in our major cities–are still sleeping rough and dying of overdoses. This despite the fact that NYC spends about $43,750 per year per homeless person — 50% more than it spends on each schoolchild. That adds up to billions of dollars in spending with nothing but disastrous results to show for it.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on Wednesday blocked a Republican request to force railroad workers and companies to accept the recommendations of a nonpartisan panel to avoid a strike that would impact millions of Americans. Sanders stood up on the floor to block the speedy approval of the resolution — introduced by Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee ranking member Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) — that would require railroad workers to adopt the outlines of a labor deal. He argued that railroad companies are making huge profits and should start treating their workers more fairly.

Christianity has remained at the forefront of the nation's political and social conversations for centuries — but new research shows that could be changing. A new report by Pew Research Center and the General Social Survey published on Tuesday found that the large numbers of people in the U.S who practice Christianity are declining. The religion's demographic has been dwindling since the 1990s, the report said, as many adults transition to an identity of atheist, agnostic or "nothing in particular." In the early '90s, about 90% of people in the U.S. identified as Christians, the report said. In 2020, Christians accounted for about 64%

MAGA champion and retired brigadier general Don Bolduc appears to have won the New Hampshire GOP Senate primary Tuesday, after moderate Republican candidate and president of the state senate Chuck Morse conceded early Wednesday. As of 8 A.M., Bolduc held a narrow 1,200 vote lead over Morse, though the Associated Press had yet to call the race. A supporter of former president Donald Trump, Bolduc doubled down on his 2020 election denial at a recent debate, insisting that the outcome was fraudulent. Outraged by the FBI’s surprise raid of Trump’s Florida residence on the grounds that he mishandled government records, Bolduc said he was open to abolishing the agency.

Gas prices are down, providing a boon for Democrats in November. But food prices remain sky-high, giving Republicans an opening to keep inflation a top-of-mind issue in the midterms. The price of food at the grocery store is expected to increase by up to 11 percent this year with the cost of beef, poultry, milk, eggs and fruit driving the surge. Prices could shoot even higher with droughts affecting crops and a potential rail workers strike halting shipments needed for both food and crop production. The government’s latest Consumer Price Index report released Tuesday shows overall food prices continued to rise, by 0.8 percent in August. That’s slightly down
