For two years, families have experienced the dire consequences of massive government spending at the gas pump , the grocery store, and elsewhere. Two years of Democrats’ one-party control in Washington was all it took for basic day-to-day needs to become more and more unaffordable for millions of hardworking people. Indeed, a report released in June found that more than half of the public is now living paycheck to paycheck.
They have Democrats’ one-party rule in Washington to blame and the Biden administration’s expansion of government spending and new regulations, which has led us to a 40-year high inflation rate, economic stagnation, and lower wages

Roger is my 25th district Congressman. He’s a successful businessman, conservative, & a patriot. Hopefully, he’ll show strong leadership when we take back the house. Couple of complaints; I wish he defended the incarcerated J6 political prisoners better. Haven’t heard a peep about the targeting of political opponents by Biden’s justice.

Saw this coming. Money is tight in our family. We don’t go out and charge a bunch of money on our credit card to buy things we don’t need because that will put us deeper in debt. What is with Biden giving billions of dollars to Ukraine when Americans need our own country rebuilt.

Yes, the country is experiencing massive inflation thanks to overexuberant Democrat spending. And yes, the Republicans have tried to unsuccessfully block that spending. So who will get he blame for our current financial problems? To listen to Biden. Democrats, and the lap dog media, the problem was not the spending spree with the nations maxed out credit cards. Nope! The problem is the Republicans for calling attention to and trying to stop the spending spree. Republicans said that this would happen but the Democrats and their media allies said no, you just hate Joe Biden, poor people, and people of color. You only want to help the rich. I guess there are enough gullible people around who will always buy the liberal Democrat line hook and sinker. Like a fish, they are reeled in and caught, hooked by the bait of free food coming their way. Their ultimate fate once reeled in and caught, like a fish, does not always turn out so great for them.

Blaming is insufficient. Show the blame at the polls

#2 - Funny you should mention Ukraine and rebuilding America in the same sentence. If the war were to end tomorrow, those billions of dollars will continue to flow in order to begin rebuilding there - not here.

Oh, and now we're looking at a rail strike. Basic day-to-day needs will soon be come unavailable as well as unaffordable.

I blame those who created the Covid pandemic and the world-wide panic response. But the continued idiotic spending I blame on Dems and the idiots who voted for them. Nothing happening now is a surprise.

Need to link the extreme policies of the Democrats to the likelihood your children and grand-children will have fewer opportunities in life.
How those policies are making it harder to "climb the economic ladder" for most.
After all, they want people to have less of nearly everything, which will reduce the economic engine that enables "a rising tide to lift all boats".

This use of the word "spending" by our government upsets me so much. How can you spend money you do not have? Is this what "deficit spending" means? i.e., spending money you do not have. Will the government just raise the limit on the credit card so we'll really be beholden to whomever is lending us the money. We really will be under their thumb then.
Is the lender China? Could someone please inform us dumb citizens who are still trying to understand the meaning of deficit spending just who is lending us the money to "spend"?

It is economics 101 that eighteen months after monetary expansion, prices start rising. Exactly 18 months ago Central Bankers all over the Western world started going recklessly out of control. Add to that the complete control of all three (WH, Senate, House) by the Democrats and you have today's inflation. Nothing 'unexpected' about it. Doesn't require Milton Friedman.
