Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan called the leak of the draft opinion overturning national abortion rights earlier this year “horrible” and suggested there could be an update on the probe into the perpetrator by the end of the month, according to multiple reports. It’s been more than four months since Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. tapped Supreme Court Marshal Gail Curley days after the leak in May to lead the investigation and find out who did the leaking. A former Army lawyer and colonel who oversees the court grounds and security, Ms. Curley has been in the job less than a year. But observers say she appears to have

Seems everything is being slow-walked these days! It's hard to blame it all on incompetence. I believe it's purposeful.

Supreme Court's Report Regarding Leak of the Draft Opinion of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization is as follows: Notwithstanding the Marshal's thorough and comprehensive investigation, the identity of the individual who leaked the first draft of the Bobbs opinion has not been discovered. The investigation will remain open, therefore for obvious reasons no additional information will be disclosed to the public.

RE: #4 "Why wait?" In my opinion because the "wide" Lantina is the culprit and she is in a protected class.

I am not sitting around waiting for an "update that could be released". I was expecting a final report. This is from the Bill Barr playbook, promise it sometime in the future, then postpone it again, and again.

We have been thoroughly disappointed by the Judicial Branch since the reign of the Kenyan. It's a good thing that the Executive and Legislative Branches are so effective or we would be in deep doo-doo.

There is absolutely nothing that Kagen won't lie about! If they do happen to mention a leaker its only because it took em 3 months to come up with the lie!

Once again, we are asked to wait. For what? Probably nothing if history is any indication. The town wouldn’t know how to run an investigation, present results, and actually secure justice if it bit them in the backside. I have learned to expect nothing of substance and usually I am not disappointed.

Maybe she knows of something really significant occurring before the end of the month that diverts attention. We're getting close to November and false flag season.

Easy prediction- they couldn’t positively identify the leaker. 30 years from now after her legal career has ended some liberal clerk will come forward and admit that it was her.

If the SCOTUS was truly interested in finding the leaker, all they would have to do is subpoena the Politico “journalist” who broke the story, put him under oath and get the answer under threat of imprisonment for perjury. That they have not done that tells you everything you need to know.

Did she say what month or what year? Like Biden claiming he'll reduce Cancer deaths by half in 25 years, she be long dead before the results a known. Of course by then, people will ask, "What's the Supreme Court?" as it will have been disbanded by then and replaced with a Politburo.

Not one name will be mentioned. It was just one of those things. If a clerk is fingered, there should be demands for the employing justice to resign. And that's not going to happen. At worse (and it may be true) it will be traced to retired Justice Breyer's staff...problem solved.
