Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Sunday said the mentality held by some Republicans needs to change when it comes to corporations, reminding the GOP that “corporatism is not the same as free enterprise.” Speaking at the National Conservatism conference in Miami, the Florida governor beat back commonly-held beliefs, casting his vision for how Republicans should view big business and the economy in modern America.

FTA: “The United States is a nation that has an economy, not the other way around, and our economy should be geared towards helping our own people” Right on the money. And the federal government needs to stop forcing people to buy things for the sole reason that connected people will make a lot of money. Enormous fail on Trump's part was bowing down to Big Corn with ethanol. Also Covid vaccine mandates.

The government and corporation cartel is a disaster for freedom, a disaster for economic growth and prosperity. I am so grateful that I hope they hang.

That is one of the best articulations of the fundamental difference between Bush/Romney/Rove country club global republicanism--- which needs to be extinguished---- and the political class which feeds at the trough of corporatism ----- and the free enterprise conservative, limited government populism of Reagan and Palin and Trump. That is a very profound, bright line distincition which merits a much larger broader discussion. Souless corporate man made autocratic entities which battle against the freedom of God created men and women with free wills, souls and minds. Those without God or who have been conditioned to ignore and turn their back on the creator, or have never been exposed to HIs Word, see marxism and the cure to the disease of Corporatism. Corporatism, be it in its political or economic forms sees power as the ultimate goal of existence. We know better. We are here to know love and serve God and be happy in his presence in the life hereafter. America got close to this ideal in the fifties and sixties and corporatism has pulled us away ever since. We must elect Trump so we can provide the forum and world stage that people like DeSantis and others, free from the connections of corporatism can continue to articulate and spread that message.

Most "corporatist" companies (ie Big Business, Big Media, Big Entertainment, Big Education) are for themselves and national soverignity and individual rights be damned. Big Pharma took the loot to develop vaccines and then sat on them until Trump lost the election. Vaccines, along with therapeutics (be they new and novel products, or existing products that have a positive outcome on the recovery from COVID) are ALL helpful products. It wasn't until Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe came on the scene that vaccines became mandatory. I don't think President Trump had determined how much "required" that they were going to be.

Republicans need to remember that it was their party that initiated the "Trust Busters" and Anti-Trust Laws that are not being enforced. The next Republican President needs to enforce these laws so that small businesses are not crushed by BIG TECH as they were during the COVID lockdown.

Republicans have the potential for a surprisingly big victory come this November's midterm elections. On virtually every front, people are finding themselves frustrated and frightened by a Democratic Party that is simply failing. Ignore the media’s efforts to get you to focus on 2024 presidential politics and the unending effort to smear President Donald Trump. Your job is to stay focused on the issues that matter in the lives of everyday people. The cost-of-living crisis, especially the skyrocketing cost of food, comes first.

Former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker on Thursday slammed the man who he succeeded, saying former AG Bill Barr's recent embrace of the Justice Department raid on Donald Trump flew in the face of all the wrongdoing he himself exposed in the discredited Russia collusion case. "Bill Barr continues for some reason to be an institutionalist when it comes to the Department of Justice, even though based on what he presided over, he should know better," Whitaker said on the Thursday edition of Just the News, Not Noise.

Donald Trump, who said two weeks ago "the temperature has to be brought down" in this country, is raising it to heights that would burst the thermometer. He’s gone on what we would call an angry tweetstorm, if he was still on Twitter, pumping out three dozen postings and repostings on his far smaller Truth Social app. Then Trump drops the hammer: "REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner, or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!"

Pennsylvania Democrat U.S. Senate nominee John Fetterman’s “blue collar” image is being called into question after reports revealed he lived off of his parents’ money well into his mid-40s. Although Fetterman runs ads that purport him to be a “blue collar tough guy,” his parents reportedly financially supported him while he served as mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, for 13 years. Fetterman, who has acknowledged his “cushy” suburban childhood, has openly admitted to the financial contributions his parents gave him as an adult.

Donald Trump’s flirtation with announcing a 2024 White House bid before the midterm elections is sending signals of self-doubt and political vulnerability, with Republican operatives saying the former president is motivating challenges to his supremacy over the party. Trump would begin any presidential primary with overwhelming advantages in popularity, name identification, and resources. But pulling the trigger on a third White House campaign prior to Election Day this November, as Trump concedes is possible, might boomerang. Rather than box out potential 2024 opponents and clear the field, such a move by the former president could reek of fear, inviting more competition for the Republican nomination.

In the early '90s, about 90% of people in the U.S. identified as Christians, the report said. In 2020, Christians accounted for about 64%
