Exclusive: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed through on his promise to drop off illegal immigrants in progressive states, sending two planes full of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday.
A video provided to Fox News Digital shows the migrants deboarding the planes at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in Massachusetts.
"Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations," the governor’s communications director, Taryn Fenske, told Fox News Digital. "States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country

The White House on Wednesday said President Biden’s abrupt trip to Delaware to vote in person, which cost taxpayers thousands of dollars, was justified by his busy schedule. Critics said Mr. Biden could have used an absentee ballot or participated in early in-person voting when he was in Delaware over the weekend. Taxpayers had to pick up the tab for the extra Air Force One trip, plus the presidential motorcade and police escort to the polls.(Snip)On Tuesday evening, Mr. Biden abruptly left the White House on an unscheduled trip to Wilmington. The White House later said he went to vote in the state’s primary election. He returned to

Amtrak, the nation's cross-country railway system, is canceling all of its long distance trains ahead of a planned freight workers' strike that threatens to destroy the U.S. economy. The announcement on Wednesday effectively cancels all planned trips, including along the popular New York City to Chicago Lake Shore Limited Line and the Silver Star from New York City to Miami. The only area that will not be affected by the train cancelations are those in the northeast corridor, between Boston and Washington DC. The company had previously announced it was canceling several of its routes as two labor unions representing 60,000 engineers and conductors threatened to walkout

Republican lawmakers, led by Reps. Mike Johnson (LA), Chip Roy (TX), and Thomas Massie (KY), are demanding answers about the effect of the vaccine mandate on military readiness in a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin first obtained by Breitbart News. “The Biden Administration’s military vaccine mandate is clearly harming military readiness by creating unnecessary recruiting and retention shortfalls,” Johnson said in a statement. “And now, after the Pentagon has tried, and failed, to make up the difference by reducing recruitment standards, over 100,000 active servicemembers—who taxpayers paid to train—face discharge during the worst recruiting year in our military’s history,” he said. They expressed particular concern

Opinions and feverish debates about public safety have shaped the most momentous political decisions in San Francisco this year, from Mayor London Breed declaring a state of emergency in the Tenderloin, to the historic recall of a district attorney. But in a city where leaders are constantly groping for solutions, some residents still feel afraid to walk home alone or lock their bikes downtown. A sweeping poll commissioned by The Chronicle drew sobering results: Nearly half of respondents said they were victims of theft in the last five years, while roughly a quarter were physically attacked or threatened. The majority had negative impressions of law enforcement.

One of the 10 labor groups that had reached a tentative deal with the United States' rail companies to prevent a system-wide strike has now rejected the offer. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers announced on Wednesday that its 4,900 members had voted to reject a deal its leaders reached with the U.S. freight railroads in an effort to keep the system running. It is now extending its negotiation process to September 29.(Snip)

Nearly 100 members of Congress bought or sold financial assets that intersected with the work of the committees they sit on, according to a New York Times report. Of the 435 House members, 183 traded stocks through themselves or their immediate family members from 2019 to 2021. At least 97 bought or sold stocks, bonds or other financial assets through themselves or their spouses that directly intersected with their congressional work. US lawmakers are not yet banned from making any stock trades, though insider trading is illegal for everyone. The trades that intersect with committee work are split evenly on partisan lines-49 Republicans and 48 Democrats.

The Republican Party needs to ramp up its election outreach or lose voter support, at least according to a very succinct survey.
Indeed, the proverbial Grand Old Party may not be so grand right now. The GOP’s popular appeal is not resonating with voters as the clock relentlessly ticks toward Election Day.(Snip)“Considering the failure of Afghanistan, inflation, student loans, the recession we are in, the attempted vaccine mandates, the border, and President Biden’s dark and dangerous speech recently, the Biden administration has been a complete disaster, and his record low approval numbers show that. Logically, one would think that national Republicans would be riding high, able to take advantage

Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan called the leak of the draft opinion overturning national abortion rights earlier this year “horrible” and suggested there could be an update on the probe into the perpetrator by the end of the month, according to multiple reports. It’s been more than four months since Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. tapped Supreme Court Marshal Gail Curley days after the leak in May to lead the investigation and find out who did the leaking. A former Army lawyer and colonel who oversees the court grounds and security, Ms. Curley has been in the job less than a year. But observers say she appears to have

Shocking photos show President Biden’s border crisis has hit a new peak in El Paso, Texas—where a historic flood of migrants has turned the city into what a local pol says resembles “a third-world country.” Regional Border Patrol Chief Gloria Chavez posted snapshots Monday night on Instagram that showed hordes of migrants dumped under an El Paso bridge over the weekend because the city has no more room to even process them. “We’ve never seen anything like this,” said outraged US Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas), whose district covers part of the city, as El Paso began grappling with its highest daily influx ever last month.

Eagle Pass, Texas–Migrants have killed pets, stolen from shops and knocked on doors late at night in a Texas border town, prompting some residents to arm themselves, locals told Fox News. A new book by former Trump aide Peter Navarro claims that the former president was supportive of an attempt to remove his son-in-law Jared Kushner from having control over his 2020 campaign and replace him with Stephen Bannon. Navarro in the book, obtained by The Guardian, describes the plan as a “coup d’état,” but the change never occurred because Kushner refused. “And that was that. And the rest is a catastrophic strategic failure history,” Navarro wrote, according to The Guardian. Navarro, a critic of Kushner, will later this month release the book, titled “Taking Back Trump’s America: Why We Lost the White House and How We’ll Win It Back.”
