Border Patrol agents in the San Diego area nabbed 25 illegal immigrant sex offenders in all of 2020. Now they have arrested 12 in just the past two months. In Del Rio, a once-quiet part of the border in Texas, law enforcement said arrests of Border Patrol sex offenders are up a staggering 2,500% this year. On one day in March, agents nabbed three offenders in just three hours, part of a flurry of seven offenders in less than two weeks.
All along the U.S.-Mexico boundary, agents report an “alarming” number of sex offenders attempting to sneak in, another grim reality of the border surge.

Republican lawmakers have slammed the dismissal of Lt Col. The media went into a frenzy this weekend when the bonny Prince Harry gave a huge harrumph to the First Amendment. On a show appropriately called the "Armchair Expert," Harry declared the First Amendment "bonkers" and expressed frustration about how it protects the media in its "feeding frenzy" over his life. Harry’s criticism of the First Amendment can be dismissed as the unfamiliarity of a royal refugee. However, it is actually far more serious than that. Harry and his American wife Meghan Markle have attacked media rights in England and succeeded under the laws of the United Kingdom. They are now joining a growing anti-free speech movement

Michael Bloomberg and his top associates at his namesake news conglomerate, Bloomberg LP, have regularly met in Beijing with top Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials and propagandists, according to the Chinese government. I document these meetings, which have taken place over several years, in my book Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption, released May 18th.According to documents reviewed while researching for this book, these propagandists regulate Bloomberg LP and control the extent to which the former Democrat mega-donor-turned presidential candidate’s business can access the gigantic Chinese market. Michael Bloomberg himself has spoken favorably—even glowingly—about China, President Xi Jinping, and other top Beijing officials.

During the Chicago Cubs’ long century of futility, the old joke was that every year they peaked on Opening Day. Is it too early to wonder if Joe Biden’s presidency did the same thing? The inauguration promise to bring healing to a fractured nation didn’t last the short ride back down Pennsylvania Avenue on Jan. 20. But what of the real Biden project that was revealed once the festivities ended: the transformation of America into a land of equity and inclusion, one that Michelle Obama could finally be proud of, that Bernie Sanders could count as Cuba’s equal, and where LeBron James could feel safe and fairly rewarded?

The old alliance between the Chamber of Commerce and the Republican Party has officially collapsed. Fractures started in 2020 when the Chamber endorsed 23 freshman Democrats for re-election despite their anti-business voting records. Now, the GOP is becoming openly hostile, most recently barring the Chamber’s representatives from hearings. Per The Washington Post, the leadership of the Chamber remains aggressively stubborn about their new strategy. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen exactly what that strategy hopes to accomplish.
Tom Wilson, chief executive of the insurance giant Allstate and former chair of the U.S. Chamber board, said the Chamber makes no apologies for its decision.

What got into CNN this morning? We're accustomed to the network's unrelenting coverage of how the Republican Party is endangering America, but when it came to the current conflict between Israel and Hamas, the tone turned against President Biden. The media finds space to criticize Biden, when it's coming from the hard left.
New Day painted a surprisingly negative picture of a feckless, golfing, Biden lacking the relationship with Bibi Netanyahu that President Trump enjoyed, and incapable of making any real impact on forcing the Israelis into a ceasefire.

The nation’s high court will consider whether “all pre-viability prohibitions on abortion are unconstitutional.”

The governor reportedly secured $3.21 million in 2020 for the book. The court, in a unanimous decision, found that police, using the "community caretaking" exception to the Fourth Amendment's prohibitions on unreasonable searches and seizures, were not allowed to enter a Rhode Island man's home and take his guns. Justice Clarence Thomas wrote the court's opinion, saying that police had violated the "very core of the Fourth Amendment."

Texas recorded zero COVID-19 deaths on Sunday, months after President Joe Biden criticized the state for relaxing pandemic restrictions too soon.
State healthcare data shows that the state’s zero COVID death day was its first in about 14 months. The state also saw a 13-month low in cases and an 11-month low in hospitalizations, according to Gov. Greg Abbott.

It is quite rare to see a state turn down federal money. It is rarer still to see states turn it down in the name of improving their own economies.
Fortunately, several states are now doing just that. Why? Because President Joe Biden’s economic stimulus is making what’s rational for workers irrational for the economy as a whole.
At this point, the fact is unavoidable: The Biden administration’s foolish decision to extend increased unemployment benefits through the summer is clearly retarding the job market’s recovery. It made sense to pay out something to workers in exchange for government restrictions on their livelihood.

We are already seeing colleges and universities requiring the COVID-19 vaccine for students to attend classes in the fall. The vaccine is being tested for children under 16, and there may be school districts that attempt to require it in the fall. All of this pressure to vaccinate the young, given their relative resilience to severe disease and near-zero fatality rate from COVID-19, is unprecedented. The health bureaucracy is not nearly as insistent about the flu vaccine, even though it often makes children much sicker and often carries higher fatality rates in children.

For decades engineers have used petroleum to make everyday products. It's still commonly used in everything from rubbers and plastics to chemicals and asphalt.
But this useful product comes from crude oil, which is often criticized by activists and experts as harmful to the environment, citing oil spills and fracking incidents.
Recent studies from the last decade have shown that petroleum isn't as efficient as some once thought. Now, companies, engineers and scientists aim to replace it with plant-based oils, specifically soybeans.
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently announced its goal to replace all petroleum-based products with soybean oil by 2040.

Critical race theory is the absurd idea that the United States is a fundamentally racist country and that our society is designed to uphold white supremacy. While the reasonable among us dismiss this idea, schools across the country are teaching it and big liberal corporations like Disney and Coca-Cola have tried pushing it.
And sadly, it seems like our nation’s “top infectious disease expert” is pushing it, too.

The payments are part of President Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package, which expanded the child tax credit for one year and made it possible to pre-pay the benefits on a monthly basis. Nearly 88% of children are set to receive the benefits without their parents needing to take any additional action.
Qualified families will receive a payment of up to $300 per month for each child under 6 and up to $250 per month for children between the ages of 6 and 17.

Divorce experts say there’s a clue in Melinda Gates’ blockbuster divorce filing that she’s angling to change her three children’s inheritance — after her estranged husband, Bill Gates, has repeatedly said he’s leaving them a mere $10 million apiece. Melinda has taken the highly unusual step — according to experts — of naming top trust and estate lawyers as her representatives in her divorce filing, along with the customary matrimonial legal eagles.

Seattle’s progressive activists assembled at Westlake Park to scream anti-Semitic vitriol. They are upset that Israel is defending itself against Hamas terrorists holding Gaza hostage.
In the process of covering the event, which was already tense for me as a Jew, I was assaulted by a fringe activist. I was then summarily kicked out of the public rally. As the woman hit me with a Palestinian flag, anti-Israel activists in the crowd did nothing. Some of the assault was caught on cell phone video. I wasn’t the only Jew assaulted.

The Lincoln Project, the same disgraced organization that shielded a credibly accused child predator for months, is now looking to target your children through something called The Franklin Project. The far-left Axios reports the news and does so in that hilarious way only the corporate media can: by pretending it has a “scoop” when it’s basically rewriting a press release sent to them first. America is still grappling with the issues that plagued a divisive 2020 election. In that election cycle, Democratic politicians and left-wing lawyers launched a multi-state assault on election security laws that gave unprecedented and unconstitutional authority to non-legislative actors to change election laws.
Now, Democrats are doubling-down on their efforts to undermine election security with H.R. 1, the so-called “For the People Act,” a bill that would federalize state elections while sweeping away state election integrity efforts.
Rather than using the slimmest majority in modern history to enact bills that would fix problems in our election system, Democrats seem maniacally focused on making sure

America, something is wrong. At a moment when people should be feeling upbeat, liberated and hopeful, optimism has cratered. How could that happen?
Maybe it’s because the country has awakened to this: Donald Trump is no longer in the White House creating offensive tweets, but instead we have Joe Biden there creating offensive policies. That’s the trade-off American voters chose on Nov. 3. The just-released University of Michigan monthly survey showed consumer sentiment slumping to 82.3 in May from 88.3 in April, the lowest reading since February and below analysts’ forecasts. Consumers’ expectations about the future also plummeted, to 77.6 from 82.7 in April.

The boy, who suffered multiple wounds from what police say was an “edged weapon,” was identified Sunday by his mother as Cash Gernon, WFAA reported. The “happy-go-lucky” boy was sleeping when a suspect, identified by cops as 18-year-old Darriynn Brown, barged into his home through a back door and kidnapped him on Saturday, his mother said. The boy’s grieving mom said he had no idea what allegedly led Brown to target her son, whose body was later discovered in the street

Black and Hispanic Americans are statistically underrepresented among those receiving COVID-19 vaccinations, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — a demographic reality overlooked in the ongoing media focus on rural white aversion to the vaccines as the stumbling block to national vaccination goals. As of May 15, black Americans constituted only 8.9% of those who received at least one dose of the vaccine despite being 12.4% of the U.S. population.

The commission formed to observe the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre has announced that it has booted Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt from his seat on the panel a week after he signed a bill outlawing the teaching of some race and racism concepts in public schools. A statement from the commission did not indicate the reason for the parting, and a spokeswoman said the commission had no further comment. However, commission project manager Phil Armstrong sharply criticized the Republican governor for signing a bill into law that prohibits the teaching of so-called critical race theory in Oklahoma schools.

Israeli warplanes unleashed another wave of heavy airstrikes on the Gaza Strip Monday, destroying about 60 miles of militant tunnels and the homes of nine Hamas commanders — and also killing a senior Islamic Jihad leader, the military said.
IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus told reporters Monday that it had assassinated Hussam Abu Harbeed, who commanded Islamic Jihad’s northern Gaza brigade and led attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians for almost 15 years.
In a statement, the IDF said Harbeed “was behind several anti-tank missile terror attacks against Israeli civilians.”

The article “Origin of COVID - Following the Clues” by Nicholas Wade is a comprehensive investigation into the COVID19 pandemic. Wade is a science journalist who has written articles for the big publishers. His Origin of COVID article is a clear-eyed analysis of what we do and don’t know. He tells us the details that lead a reasonable reader to conclude that the Wuhan Virology Institute created the COVID19 virus and through sloppy techniques released the virus. The disease spread rapidly, killing millions and attacking elderly populations in particular.

Whether you believe in QAnon or not, one of the points that Q made was the claim that pedophilia tied together many of the world’s power brokers. That’s would make it unsurprising that Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted pedophile who continued his wicked ways even after his conviction, had such a big network of rich and powerful people who knew about his vicious propensities and seemingly didn’t care. Even knowing that, it’s still big news to learn that Bill Gates, one of the world’s richest and most powerful men, had a deep friendship with Epstein.

I’m on vacation. No TV, no computer, just my phone, my iPad, my kids, and my grandchildren -- although, of course, I still skim the headlines every day. I am also seeing how eerily familiar the way people in another state are living, but it’s another blue state, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Since the trip began, I’ve been struck by the abject abandonment of common sense in favor of rote obedience to absurd rules. We are trained monkeys, following senseless pronouncements that improve nothing.

Bill Gates has been prominent during the COVID panic. He has all sorts of ideas about controlling people’s lives and “solving” climate change. However, now that his wife is leaving him, the floodgates are opening. The Bill Gates we’re seeing isn’t the amiable, slightly weird genius. Instead, he’s "sexual predator adjacent" -- a man who befriended Jeffrey Epstein and had a questionable relationship with the Clinton Foundation.
For many people, Bill Gates was the genius behind the Microsoft empire. For others, he was a mediocre programmer who had a nose for spotting other people’s talent and, like a mob boss, pressuring them into handing their valuable products over to him.

When the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that fully vaccinated people can safely participate in both indoor and outdoor activities without wearing face masks, it was good news for most Americans. In addition to a sense of vindication for those of us who object to post-vaccination masking, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky’s statement provided another much-needed service — it forced the metastasizing mask cult to reveal itself as a coalition of anti-science zealots and petty tyrants. A typical example of their collective response to the CDC guidance appeared in the Washington Post under the title, “The CDC shouldn’t have removed restrictions without requiring proof of vaccination.”
