Hamas was building an environmentally-friendly Green Bullet Subway - - and was going to donate its advanced technology to the world's poorest nations. And now - - Israel has ruined Hamas' humanitarian philanthropy.

Radical Islam. It exists so ignorant people can sit in their own excrement, since they would seek to kill anyone who would tell them to clean themselves up. Nice to have such exalted goals and standards, and to have liberal reporters championing the ignorant fools over those who wish to live in a civilized world.

I'm starting to think Biden's incoherent Mideast policy is working well now. The world is much safer when Israel has to take care of business on it's own because it doesn't trust Washington. In addition to setting back Iran's nuclear ambitions by months, possibly years, and the reduction of Hamas apparently now taking place, a nice plus is that it appears to be unraveling a lot of Liberals - always a good thing. (Please pass me the popcorn; watching "interesting times" developing is becoming more and more ....interesting)

Wouldn't it be easier to say "9 miles long" or "14 kilometers long"? Are the Brits so brain dead that the only unit of measure left its the "football field"? In any case.....flattening a tunnel that clearly took a huge amount of resources and time to build, and killing the folks inside, is a wonderful thing. Fewer terrorists is always better.

I'd guess the IDF being as smart as they are did the tunnels the same way you take out a tank or supply column in a road. Hit each end to cut off escape then work towards the center.

The best quote from this story: "Major T" is the Israeli commander for rocket and mortar artillery "Maj. T said that after a week of intense fighting, the IDF’s database of targets still remains well-stocked and that “there are enough targets to keep striking, at the same level which we have done so far.” Good news, lots more targets to hit. Keep flattening their warehouses and killing their leaders. Some of the secondary explosions are impressive. Military pilots tell me that they just love it when "we get a nice big secondary"....meaning that they set off explosives on the ground, which is their goal, and means that they got a direct hit on enemy ordinance.

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors was identified in a press release as co-chair of an art company that has profited from several activist groups that call Cullors a co-founder and leader, which charity experts say amounts to self-dealing and raises ethical and legal questions. Black Lives Matter (BLM) Global Network Foundation, BLM PAC and Reform LA Jails — three activist groups Cullors claims to have co-founded and led — have provided business to the art company, Trap Heals, the Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported. Trap Heals was founded and run by Damon Turner, the father of Cullors’ only child, the DCNF found.

Black and Hispanic Americans are statistically underrepresented among those receiving COVID-19 vaccinations, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — a demographic reality overlooked in the ongoing media focus on rural white aversion to the vaccines as the stumbling block to national vaccination goals. As of May 15, black Americans constituted only 8.9% of those who received at least one dose of the vaccine despite being 12.4% of the U.S. population.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday called the violent conflict between Israel and Gaza militants “utterly appalling” and urged for an immediate ceasefire, as the worst outbreak of fighting in years stretches into seven days and takes a heavy toll on civilians. “This latest round of violence only perpetuates the cycles of death, destruction and despair, and pushes farther to the horizon any hopes of coexistence and peace,” Guterres said during a U.N. Security Council meeting.

New York police are investigating what they claim is a potential “hate crime” after a Catholic church in Brooklyn saw a large crucifix toppled and an American flag burned earlier this week. The Diocese of Brooklyn said in a statement that a statute of the Crucifixtion of Jesus “was found toppled over and lying face down” at St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church in Bensonhurst on Friday morning. “The statue of Jesus, the cross, and the display were all damaged in what is being investigated by the NYPD as a hate crime,” the Diocese said.

Nearly 25,000 migrant children were in the custody of the government, apart from their families, in early May. The number of unaccompanied migrant children in the federal government's care is at an all-time high, easily eclipsing the corresponding total in 2018 when the Trump administration pursued a policy that led to the intentional separation of children from their families, eliciting major controversy. The situation underscores the severity of the crisis facing President Joe Biden early in his administration and the moral quandary he faces.

This adds a new wrinkle to what the public has been told about Steele

The media went into a frenzy this weekend when the bonny Prince Harry gave a huge harrumph to the First Amendment. On a show appropriately called the "Armchair Expert," Harry declared the First Amendment "bonkers" and expressed frustration about how it protects the media in its "feeding frenzy" over his life. Harry’s criticism of the First Amendment can be dismissed as the unfamiliarity of a royal refugee. However, it is actually far more serious than that. Harry and his American wife Meghan Markle have attacked media rights in England and succeeded under the laws of the United Kingdom. They are now joining a growing anti-free speech movement

But I pray that he is not available to receive my vote. (snip) Ron DeSantis has proven himself to be the “non-Trump” Trump. He stands for the America First agenda and gets a lot of it done. Israeli warplanes unleashed another wave of heavy airstrikes on the Gaza Strip Monday, destroying about 60 miles of militant tunnels and the homes of nine Hamas commanders — and also killing a senior Islamic Jihad leader, the military said. IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus told reporters Monday that it had assassinated Hussam Abu Harbeed, who commanded Islamic Jihad’s northern Gaza brigade and led attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians for almost 15 years. In a statement, the IDF said Harbeed “was behind several anti-tank missile terror attacks against Israeli civilians.”

For decades engineers have used petroleum to make everyday products. It's still commonly used in everything from rubbers and plastics to chemicals and asphalt. But this useful product comes from crude oil, which is often criticized by activists and experts as harmful to the environment, citing oil spills and fracking incidents. Recent studies from the last decade have shown that petroleum isn't as efficient as some once thought. Now, companies, engineers and scientists aim to replace it with plant-based oils, specifically soybeans. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently announced its goal to replace all petroleum-based products with soybean oil by 2040.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A judge has tossed the case against one of 18 people cited in Colorado Springs after a Black Lives Matter protest on Interstate 25, calling it a violation of her free-speech rights. El Paso County Court Senior Judge Stephen Sletta on Wednesday dismissed the lone misdemeanor filed against 21-year-old Molly Avion. In a two-page ruling, he found that the state statute used against her — which makes it illegal to obstruct highways — was overly broad in a way that could chill the exercise of the First Amendment and invite “arbitrary” enforcement.CORRECTIONS*
