Saturday Night Live (SNL) mocked Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in its May 15 episode, depicting her as an unlikeable oddball appealing only to a fringe of elitist Republicans, despite her months of virtue signaling to leftists by trashing former President Donald Trump.A “Weekend Update” segment mercilessly kicked Cheney while she is down, focusing on her recent removal as House Republican Conference Chair.“I was kicked out of the Republican Party,” said the Liz Cheney character, played by series regular Kate McKinnon.

Never watch SNL any longer. It's political trash. As for Liz Cheney, she owns this and I'm not feeling a bet sorry for her. I suggest that she sit out 2022 because she would waste her money running for congress.

When she got to the part "Do you know who my father is?"....that pretty much summed up why she should've been removed a long time ago.

She began with lots of promise but decided to throw it all away......one wonders why? Got to be more than the Benjamins.

I watch the opening skit, to se if SNL has guts. They don't.
Kate the Lesbian played Fauci, and they did an unfunny thing about masks.
They lack the courage to mock Dementia Jo, his slutty wife. his slutty Canadian VP.

I can’t believe that I agree with anything coming out of SNL but on this one, I’m in. They nailed it.
Haven’t watched it since the original cast left.

They never learn. Just like John McCain, Mitt Romney, and many other, these guys think that attacking notable Republicans will get the liberal liars across the aisle to love them. Not gonna happen. the left will ALWAYS kick a Republican when he/she is down. It's in their nature. Trying to get a liberal to love them, to say nice things to and about them, and to work with them is IMPOSSIBLE. These people (McCain, Romney and others like them) always forget that leftists' God is POWER. Leftists would kill their mother, eviscerate their grandmother, and cut their baby's throat for POWER. Never forget that.

SNL has been dead to me for what....20 years, I don't even remember it was so long ago. The original team was really, really an amazing combination of really great tallents. Probably we'll never see the like again. Many went on to individual careers. The current slugs....are no talent slugs, from the few clips I have seen over the years.
And Repubs thinking that by joining the forces against Trump they will be welcomed....are just fools. They are seen as traitors to their cause, and hated by both sides.

Liz Cheney is learning the hard way that Liberals and Democrats will hate a Republican once they are done using them for their purposes. Cheney is now a Republican with no party. She has made herself an outcast for fighting against the very party that once supported her and put her in a position of power. Cheney herself expended her energy fighting the wrong enemy. She should have known that the real enemy was the liberal Democrats, not Donald Trump! Some people never learn.

I recall watching an SNL skit, once, many years ago. I instantly recognized it for what it was.... not comedy, but leftist political warfare.
Cheney apparently thought that she could join their 'club' by trashing President Trump.
Perhaps this has taught her that the left will use her as the tool and 'Useful Idiot' that she is, but they ain't ever letting her join their 'club'. I say 'perhaps' because it seems to me she's not very smart.
