The Associated Press has been accused of lying about whether it knew Hamas maintained a military presence in its Gaza headquarters.Israeli forces destroyed Jala Tower which had been the AP's headquarters in the Palestinian territory for 15 years, and was also where Al Jazeera was based.Politicians and journalists in the United States rushed to condemn the bombing, claiming the Israelis had endangered the lives of the journalists.Israel said it had given the media outlets an hours' warning to get out of the building before the bombing, and that it was a legitimate target because it housed Hamas military forces.

Well, it was very convenient for them to be in the same building, so that they could coordinate their lying propaganda.

Why would this be surprising? They haven't seen a thing going on around them since Trump came down the escalator. The blind hatred they have for that man has made them completely incapable of seeing any real enemy in or out of the country.

It takes s special kind of foolishness to think that sharing a building housing Hamas who will protect you from incoming Israeli fire. These people can't think straight.
But then again, if you were all in for Palestinian propaganda, its nice to get copy delivered to you from next door.

Pruitt admitted or claimed that his operation is completely inept, not knowing for 15 years who one's neighbors are...and these guys are reporters? Is the UPI any better?

Gary Pruitt just got caught lying, and should be forced to resign in disgrace. The WaPo demanded Israeli proof the AP knew--and now they have it, and can go swallow their doubts.

The media is the enemy of America. The AP Marxist propaganda newswire can be found in almost every newspaper in the U.S., including many small town ones. They have been covertly spewing their Marxist bilge for decades. I wish them more misfortune.

The AP has effectively has been knowing civilian shields for Hamas. They should be grateful that Israel gave them a one hour warning to get out, since it also allowed Hamas intelligence also escaped. If you lay down with terrorists you get out from bombs.

The only thing that surprises me is that it was the leftwing Atlantic who let the cat out of the bag. I haven’t read the original Atlantic article but I would bet that it was in praise of those rocket launches and threats to the AP staff.

Obviously the AP does not understand the concept of “cover” when conducting intelligence operations as Hamas initiated when they moved their intelligence operation into the AP building. Looks like in the end that tactic did not work out to well for Hamas.

they're not called the ass press for nothing - if I see any story with the AP byline, I know it's bias and lying.

Sadly, by notifying the AP, all Hamas personnel were likely vacated before the strike.

Hamas and other Islamist extremists are notorious for locating their operations in or near hospitals, schools, etc., that would cause complaints by international bleeding hearts if attacked. This is no different.

If Hamas thought they could gain advantage by killing those stupid reporters & blame it on Israel they would do it!
They would deserve it.

Perhaps the fact that they were all in the same building explains why the Alphabet media's news reports sound like they originate in Iran. What a cozy set-up for spreading their propaganda. Now they are exposed to the world.

Perhaps If activist journalists knew that their brazen partisanship and lack of journalistic integrity would get them branded as enemy combatants and treated as such, they might stop being open Islamic Jihad and Marxist cheerleaders and underminers of freedom and Western values.
