Show of hands: Just a week ago today, who among us would have guessed that within just three days, the CDC would do a 180-degree flip-flop on par with the 1989 announcement that the Berlin Wall was coming down, and suddenly announce it was now safe for “fully vaccinated adults” to “resume most activities, indoors or out, in groups or individually, mask-free and without social distancing”? I am among those who did not raise a hand. However, what I did do, was make an announcement of my own — posthaste. I'm in Free Florida and haven't worn a mask other than in medical offices, a concession I will make. No one has bothered me. As the author says, there has emerged a small clique of The Maskless who will nod and smile as the masked keep away from us as if we had leprosy. I am worried about the American Attitude to fight our enemies, though.

The merchants and business owners in my small town in Michigan quietly dropped the mask requirement several weeks ago. Some eager rule followers still wear one. Most don’t. There was never any scientific evidence that the masks made any difference. The up side is that it has become easier than ever to spot a liberal.

The president of the university where I work has said vaccinated people do not need to wear masks to work. There is one guy in my department who is a mask Ken (or is it Chad)? He's still scared to death even though he has been vaccinated. I expect he will continue with the mask and stand 12 feet away from everyone else.

Also in Florida. I wear a mask where businesses require coverings. My favorite mask less place is the gun range. Nothing like the smell of spent gunpowder blowing in the air.

Walking into my neighborhood grocery store yesterday, I noticed a new sign at the door that read "Please continue to wear a mask and maintain social distance until you have been fully vaccinated." Having received my second Pfizer jab two months ago, I proceeded on into the store without a mask on. It felt really good to finally be in the store mask free again. And I was really hoping that some libtard mask fascist would dare to say something to me about being maskless, but no one did

Mr. Miller is a bit slow. I was done a year ago, probably wore a mask no more than 5 minutes per week. And two weeks ago....the county removed their mask mandate, and that was the end of it for me. NO more masks. I have NEVER paid any attention to the CDC. All their info has been lies for the whole last year and more.

I have thought about giving a 'thumbs up' sign to others without masks, but haven't done it. Sad to see so many folks just cowering in fear from this massively exaggerated Dem-panic.

Report from the People's Republic of Louisville: Mask signs are mostly down. Masks are mostly on. Not on me, of course. A fully vaccinated clerk in my favorite store said: "I'm still a little afraid." I answered: "of what?" and made him tell me. He said: "some people might be uncomfortable if I don't wear one." There you are.

In an attempt to convince New York City residents to obtain the coronavirus vaccine, Mayor Bill de Blasio stuffed his mouth full of fast food during a briefing Thursday morning. The “repulsive” performance was part of a joint promotion between the city and the fast food restaurant Shake Shack. “I got vaccinated. You’re saying I could get this? These delicious fries?” the mayor said during the briefing as he pulled out some Shake Shack fries and began eating them while speaking. “Wait a minute — but there’s also a burger element to this? In the Oval Office today, while doing a brief appearance before the cameras, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Vice President Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi all wore masks and sat very deliberately spaced apart — if not six feet apart, then as close to that distance as possible. Every elected official in that room was vaccinated months ago and is considered fully vaccinated. Their immune systems are as prepared for an encounter with SARS-CoV-2 as they can get. Yes, McConnell, Biden and Pelosi are getting up in years. But the CDC itself states, “preliminary data from Israel suggest that people vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech

President Biden on Wednesday spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reaffirm US support for Israel after a night of bloodshed with civilians in Tel Aviv sheltering from Hamas rockets. “I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu not so long ago. I’ll be putting out a statement very shortly on that,” Biden told reporters at the White House. “My expectation and hope is that this will be closing down sooner than later. But Israel has a right to defend itself against thousands of rockets flying into your territory.”

And if you read this magisterial analysis by science writer Nicholas Wade a few days ago, you’ll be really prepared. I’ll sum up as best I can: The NIH, which Fauci’s agency is a part of, has given grants in the past to a nonprofit called EcoHealth Alliance, which hunts emerging viruses. Among the places where they do research is China. Of the $3.7 million EcoHealth received from NIH before 2019, $76,000 per year was given to — ta da —

It’s a sad commentary on the gun violence plaguing the Big Apple. One of the diners who was shot outside the famed Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn was recovering Friday at home — where he told a neighbor, “You go out to dinner and that’s what happens.” The 57-year-old victim, who was hit in the gut, described the terrifying incident after being treated for his injuries at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in Manhattan. “He told me there was a family dispute and they started shooting,” the neighbor said. “He said he didn’t have a chance to run.”

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has delivered the final blow to the COVID lockdown regime. The new study on the so-called six-feet apart rule was blown up. The indoor occupancy caps were also trashed. What about those insanely expensive air filtration units that teachers want to be installed before they venture out of their caves and start working again? Not necessary. Open windows, fans blowing, and a good circulation of fresh air is good enough. It doesn’t matter if you’re 60 feet away or 6 feet away from someone inside, you’re still at risk of contracting the virus, even with a mask on.

None of the people in the sealed area of the vehicle had on masks. And the message keeps changing, which makes you wonder whether anyone really knows anything at all. The media went into a frenzy this weekend when the bonny Prince Harry gave a huge harrumph to the First Amendment. On a show appropriately called the "Armchair Expert," Harry declared the First Amendment "bonkers" and expressed frustration about how it protects the media in its "feeding frenzy" over his life. Harry’s criticism of the First Amendment can be dismissed as the unfamiliarity of a royal refugee. However, it is actually far more serious than that. Harry and his American wife Meghan Markle have attacked media rights in England and succeeded under the laws of the United Kingdom. They are now joining a growing anti-free speech movement

Israeli warplanes unleashed another wave of heavy airstrikes on the Gaza Strip Monday, destroying about 60 miles of militant tunnels and the homes of nine Hamas commanders — and also killing a senior Islamic Jihad leader, the military said. IDF spokesman Lt. Col. For decades engineers have used petroleum to make everyday products. It's still commonly used in everything from rubbers and plastics to chemicals and asphalt. But this useful product comes from crude oil, which is often criticized by activists and experts as harmful to the environment, citing oil spills and fracking incidents. Recent studies from the last decade have shown that petroleum isn't as efficient as some once thought. Now, companies, engineers and scientists aim to replace it with plant-based oils, specifically soybeans. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently announced its goal to replace all petroleum-based products with soybean oil by 2040.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A judge has tossed the case against one of 18 people cited in Colorado Springs after a Black Lives Matter protest on Interstate 25, calling it a violation of her free-speech rights. El Paso County Court Senior Judge Stephen Sletta on Wednesday dismissed the lone misdemeanor filed against 21-year-old Molly Avion. In a two-page ruling, he found that the state statute used against her — which makes it illegal to obstruct highways — was overly broad in a way that could chill the exercise of the First Amendment and invite “arbitrary” enforcement.CORRECTIONS*
