The high profile summit came just weeks after the Obama administration issued a moratorium on the same “gain of function” experiments that Dr. Fauci now claims were never directly funded by his government agency to take place at the Wuhan lab in China. Fauci’s insistence, however, is betrayed by new analysis of the sequence of events and examples of his own staff headlining gain of function events in Wuhan.(Snip)Less than a week before the Situation Room summit, President Obama had declared a new vision for the United States and China in the arena of infectious diseases.

So, does this mean he can be prosecuted for lying to Congress, i.e. telling Sen. Rand Paul that gain of function experiments was never funded by the US government? I thought not.

"gain of function research" = bioweapons development. Paid for with US money by Dr. Fraud, a bioweapon to be used against the world, but I'm sure Dr. Fraud's primary target was President Trump. Killed millions of people for political reasons.

First, I remember watching DJT making a comment about Kung Flu, and a smirking Fauci, standing behind DJT, shaking his little head. Second, as to gain of function research, Isn't the primary purpose of gain of function to proactively develop vaccines?

Ohio Republicans are fond of saying that it’s easy to vote, but hard to cheat in the Buckeye state. Turns out they think voting is a little too easy.(Snip)The ostensible justification for these measures is to protect the “integrity” of elections, even though the 2020 presidential election was the most secure in the nation’s history. Nor is there any evidence to support former President Donald Trump’s ridiculous claim that widespread fraud cost him reelection.Republicans could have examined what made Trump such a flawed candidate and adjusted their message to appeal to a wider swath of voters.

They also shared that they had provided all the passwords they had to the audit crew.(Snip)We noted that the Sherriff of Maricopa County, Paul Penzone, was cc’d in the letter. Comrades, let it not be said the ministry of COVID compliance does not listen to the citizens. After considering the bad optics of armbands, due to negative historic references, the government is allowing the private sector to create a modern method of compliance with vaccination protocols. To enjoy your new freedom the COVID Ministry is working on QR Code wristbands to speed up the vaccination checkpoint scanning process. The wristbands will be connected to a secure governmental database so you don’t have to worry about your travel habits being tracked, and the governmental contractors have promised they will not use the data to monitor citizens.

A Columbus, Ohio, Back the Blue rally scheduled for Saturday has been postponed amid security concerns, and Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has described the lack of security as being part of a coordinated attempt to make rally attendees look bad. Greene, who was supposed to headline the event, said she received "incredibly disturbing and infuriating" information from the organizers. She said the organizers were informed there would be a counter-protest by Black Lives Matter and Antifa and the company that manages the location of the rally would not provide security fencing to ensure the safety of the two groups.

"Power to the People" was a chant used by anti-war and civil rights protesters in the '60s. John Lennon wrote a song with that title in 1971. The idea flowed from the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution which begins, "We the people." The concept behind that phrase was that the people, not the government, are sovereign and the government's power is granted to it by the governed. That has been reversed in our day as government has become evermore powerful, some would argue dictatorial, as demonstrated by restrictions on our liberties with the COVID-19 virus used as the excuse.

That’s what the Republican congressman from Urbana does. His exertions at a hearing Thursday of the U.S. House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis even earned him a gaveling from the Democratic chairman of the committee when he exceeded his time limit and an admonition from another Democratic member “to respect the chair and shut your mouth.” Still, he persisted and eventually got Fauci to provide useful parameters for assessing whether and when measures intended to limit

For decades engineers have used petroleum to make everyday products. It's still commonly used in everything from rubbers and plastics to chemicals and asphalt. But this useful product comes from crude oil, which is often criticized by activists and experts as harmful to the environment, citing oil spills and fracking incidents. Recent studies from the last decade have shown that petroleum isn't as efficient as some once thought. Now, companies, engineers and scientists aim to replace it with plant-based oils, specifically soybeans. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently announced its goal to replace all petroleum-based products with soybean oil by 2040.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A judge has tossed the case against one of 18 people cited in Colorado Springs after a Black Lives Matter protest on Interstate 25, calling it a violation of her free-speech rights. El Paso County Court Senior Judge Stephen Sletta on Wednesday dismissed the lone misdemeanor filed against 21-year-old Molly Avion. In a two-page ruling, he found that the state statute used against her — which makes it illegal to obstruct highways — was overly broad in a way that could chill the exercise of the First Amendment and invite “arbitrary” enforcement.CORRECTIONS*
