Canada will stop contributing to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s security costs “in the coming weeks,” a government spokesman has said.
Canada has been paying some of the costs for the duke and duchess since last October.
A statement given to Yahoo News U.K. from the Office of the Minister of Public Safety in Canada read: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex choosing to relocate to Canada on a part-time basis presented our government with a unique and unprecedented set of circumstances.(Snip ) The assistance will cease in the coming weeks, in keeping with their change in status.”

The map allots 260 electoral votes to Trump, 248 to Sanders and puts 30 in the pure toss-up category. "In our view, we think a Sanders nomination would tilt the election more toward Trump, to the point where the ratings would reflect him as something of a favorite," write Kyle Kondik and J. Chicago Public Schools will no longer observe Columbus Day.
The Board of Education voted to change the name to Indigenous Peoples’ Day as other cities and school districts have done. The board’s vote on the issue was 5-2.

Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., suggested Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference that U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russia probe will lead to criminal charges.

We had clucking from Pelosi and Schumer because President Trump didn’t ask for enough money, he asked for $2.5B and they said the amount should be $8.5B. Why not have a call and discuss what the proper amount is and what we need to do to prepare “just in case?” Why aren’t our elected officials working together for the public interest? In 2016, the Arizona Republic and Dallas Morning News attracted attention by breaking ranks from conservatives and endorsing Hillary, a Democrat. Voters in their states overwhelmingly ignored the advice, and went for Donald John Trump.
Now both newspapers have announced they will no longer make political endorsements.
The Republic said today, "Readers have made it clear: You want to be informed about elections but not told how to vote. We hear you.”(Snip)Hmm. Focus groups. The Republic is bleeding readers and I suspect one reason is turning its back on conservatism. By endorsing Hillary, the newspaper was willing to flip the Supreme Court to the ACLU liberalism of Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
The lefty co-star of the third installment in the Nightmare on Elm Street series is apparently trying to help force a nightmare on Wall Street. Patricia Arquette felt it worthy of the #RESIST movement to summon her inner Bill Maher and implore followers to tank the U.S. economy. How? She told her followers to not buy anything on March 2nd. While local authorities had not officially revealed the name of the shooter, the name of Anthony Ferrill was being used across social media and in a few news articles to identify the gunman. Journalist Matthew Keys cited a “law enforcement source” when he tweeted on Wednesday night that “Anthony Ferrill was a long-time employee of MillerCoors / Molson Coors with over 20 years of work history at the company.”

The Mass was held in the South Auditorium of the Executive Office Building (EEOB) on Wednesday morning, according to White House sources.

Here's the latest on the developing situation. CDC officials confirmed Wednesday night that a patient in California contracted the coronavirus. The patient reportedly didn't have any travel history or exposure to another infected patient, which is the first known instance of such a case in the U.S., according to the CDC.
