The possible name of the gunman who killed multiple people and himself during a mass shooting at a brewery in Milwaukee on Wednesday afternoon was making the rounds on social media and the larger internet overnight. While local authorities had not officially revealed the name of the shooter, the name of Anthony Ferrill was being used across social media and in a few news articles to identify the gunman. Journalist Matthew Keys cited a “law enforcement source” when he tweeted on Wednesday night that “Anthony Ferrill was a long-time employee of MillerCoors / Molson Coors with over 20 years of work history at the company.”

I read an article awhile back about this phenomenon of disgruntled/fired black men shooting up their worplaces. I suspected this was another example immediately. But this story will disappear as soon as the Enemedia can make it.

Newsone is a black publication for blacks. I read some of the associated articles and found pretty heavy anti- “white male” propaganda. This publication has an agenda.

Being in HR, I wonder whether the perp ever reported acts of bigotry against him. If he did, I wonder what was the outcome of the HR investigation. Just because people claim a company has racist tendencies does not make it so. That said, if racism exists, it is a serious matter than must be addressed. However, nothing excuses these shooting deaths. We have legal means of dealing with discrimination.

Ferrill (AKA Tony Muhammad) certainly made a good argument against putting blacks on the payroll.

Well race itself has become a defense to criminal and political activities today in the USA. In politics today, even Joseph Biden is using a racial factor as a political defense by telling the nation that African-Americans who make up about 12% of the USA population are going elect him President of the USA.

#3 - Been there and done those types of investigations myself. Far more often than not the complaints were essentially groundless, woven around disjointed half-truths and inaccurate conclusions. I am always highly suspicious of "noose stories". And then there is the "neutral" Brookings Institute findings of Milwaukee being one of the most segregated cities. Being a native, I will say that may be true - but not the truth.

If you don't like your job or your coworkers, the simple and clean solution is to get another job. True racism can not be erased by worker training or anything else so just leave it behind, if it was indeed racism and not just his own prejudice or paranoia. Besides the needless deaths, the worst outcome of incidents like this is it creates more brain damage for screaming liberals who want to justify gun control.

Another "aggrieved" black. He knows he is aggrieved because Jesse and Al, and Obama told him he was.
I'll bet he only killed white folks, too.

From the article " Ferrill would be one of the rare instances of a Black person being behind a mass shooting".
Not so. An internet search will show that blacks commit a disproportionate number of mass shootings accounting for their percent of the population.

back in the 1990s, i created and taught a graduate seminar in Workplace Violence - the first in the nation, i believe.
at the time I taught the seminar, most instances of workplace employee violence were done by white male employees, typically loners without support mechanisms - family, friends, church.
and when the violence takes place, too often the co-workers were not surprised by it.

Googling Ferrill's pic, I see him in a Red Sox hat and a Yankees hat. No pix of him wearing a Brewers hat and I'll suggest that MLB team is a big deal in Milwaukee, the only dedicated professional sports team they have.
So Ferrill was a contrarian, cultivating a prickly persona. it would only follow that race would worm its way into his dealings with his environment. Until I'm proven wrong, I'll say he fostered conflict as a way of life.

A couple of months ago my husband was called into HR because a co-worker had complained about a picture hanging in his cube. Said it was misogynistic (hates women). This picture was sent by our daughter and it was a picture of her doing an engineering problem on the mirror at college. The caption was something like "some girls see it as a mirror, others see it as an engineering solution." My husband took it down and was going to leave it at that but realized that makes him look guilty. So he went to HR and explained his side of things and was allowed to hang it up again.
The point here is that someone can make a claim anytime but it doesn't mean it is true.

I really hate it when black electricians watch movies on their phones at work.

Eerily similar to a shooting in CT at a beer distributor in 2010. Same circumstances" black employee fired, comes back with guns and shoots former coworkers, racism blamed. There was never any evidence of racism in the 2010 case though.
