Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., suggested Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference that U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russia probe will lead to criminal charges.
Collins, who has served as the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee but is leaving the role after announcing a Senate campaign, described at CPAC what he believes will come out of Durham’s probe. “This is not going to be a Mueller report; there won’t be a report,” Collins told Fox News, noting that Durham and his team have kept very “quiet” about their work. “When he’s ready to charge people, he’ll charge people.”
He added: “And that’s when we’ll know.”

This will be a lot easier to believe after the first one of these thugs is at least indicted, but better would be after a conviction with a long prison sentence.

We could all write the weekly "Democrats are finally going to be held accountable under the law" article that gets our "believe it when I see it " responses.

I wonder what low level schmuck will be arrested, only to plead down to some minor charge before walking way.

1. If there is an actual investigation of FBI and DOJ officials by the same FBI and DoJ, it is certain that the person with the morning coffee cart will be the only one charged.
2. Putting aside my cynicism, if this inquiry is occurring, there should be reports of a Brennan or Comey entering the Hartford federal courthouse. So far, no reported sightings.
3. If there are trials in our lifetime, it’s certain that no one will receive more than slap on the wrist, unlike Roger Stone’s 43 month sentence and $20,000 fine. And unlike Roger, no Obama official will be under court ordered silence before and after the trial.

I am SO tired of getting my hopes up for nothing but justice. Are there no men and women with integrity any more? One day, there will be a reckoning, if this is not addressed.

Unless Clinton and Obama see a jail cell, this country will continue to devolve into just another third world banana republic!
I just don't see that happening!

I'm starting to think there IS no John Durham at all, or at least not anymore.
Just a compilation of features that Atty. Gen. Barr cobbled together to get MAGAs off his back.

If we're to believe what Rush, Hannity, Levin, and Ingram have had to say over the last three years, the question is, " What other evidence does one need to prosecute?" Lying to the FISA court, text messages, phone calls, emails, past comments and actions seems to me to be enough to bring charges against somebody at this point. Enough of the investigation crap. Either charge somebody, or forget the whole thing.

In addition, why is a Republican not only charged, but sentenced to jail in a matter of months with armed FBI agents storming the house, but anything that involves a democrap seems to never gain any ground even with more obvious evidence than anything against a Republican.

Agree with #1. Besides, Bloomie and Steyer have plenty of money to buy off Durham & Co. to reach the conclusion of "nothing to see here".
