Democrat presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg suggested average Americans are placed at higher risk of death or injury by having a gun in their home, during a CNN town hall on Wednesday. Bloomberg said, “You don’t want to have guns. If you have a gun in your house you’re something like 22 times as likely to get killed with a gun.”He added, “There’s domestic violence, there’s children playing, there’s accidents.”Bloomberg did not provide any substantiation of his claim that owning a gun makes someone “22 times as likely to get killed with a gun.” Nor did he mention the mention Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health study that found

No, it puts burglars and home invaders at risk. A good thing.

Ok Mike so your armed security guards put your life a risk eh? I guess if your guards are playing Russian Roulette with you in the room it might be a problem. You might be 22 times more likely to get hit if they miss.

Well may Bloomberg himself not have a gun but how many armed bodyguards does he surround himself with?

Gee Mike, If I had billions of dollars like you with a gated house, fancy alarm system and a security force around me, I wouldn't mind getting rid of my gun. BUT I don't, so it's up to me to protect my family and property and I WILL have a gun.

A gun my house vs one to my head in a communist utopia? I’m one of the unfortunates that’s has a big mouth who doesn’t tolerate bullies well! Yea...I’m going to do awesome with the Mini Commie or the Old Crazy Commie in charge issuing orders? I probably won’t see you at the Gulag Comrades! My place will be lined up against a wall somewhere!🙁

Because having a gun in the house will cause wandering gunfighters to challenge you to a quickdraw shootout.

How did this guy get so rich? How with such a poor understanding of statistics? Guess what Mike - homeless people have less chance of dying in plane crashes too. Suicidal people who have a gun will use - a gun.
Seriously how did he make his money? Running a financial news service? No way was that it.

A single gun in your house probably will put you at risk.......that’s why you need many.

Up yours, lil' Mikey, it's an acceptable risk for that time when a real criminal threatens your family. Or the government turns into a dictatorship like it would under your fat little thumb. I heard that one of your campaign staffers bought a Big Gulp the other day, better check him out and have him whipped.

22 times as likely to get killed?
I like to think I’m 22 times more likely to stay safe. Or maybe it’s 9 times more likely, or 357 times, or 44 or 45 times.
Or maybe I should gauge it as 12 or 20 times more likely to stay safe?

It's what they do. The only issue that is important here is how many absolutely stupid people are there in this country who will vote straight Rat in November? Unfortunately along with all that the USA has to offer, we have a huge population of lazy, bitter, morons. Bloomers is counting on them to overwhelm the rest of us.

Mikey's the reason we have the Electoral College. The way he skipped Iowa and New Hamster demonstrates exactly what will happen if we go to nationwide popular votes instead of electors -- citizens in rural areas will simply not matter to the government any more, politically speaking.
As for having a gun in my home putting me at risk, he's right: It would put me at risk of being killed by the gun-confiscating raids that he will send if he's elected.

Mike Rubens Bloomberg, I assume that your girlfriend in CT. has a gun in her house, and your boyfriend in Florida has a gun in his? BTW, who is going to live with you in the WH, boy or the girl???
