The next Democratic debate isn’t in Paterson, New Jersey, but it should be: that unlikely city is blazing new trails in multiculturalism and diversity. On Wednesday, the City Council voted unanimously (with two members not voting) to grant preliminary approval to the Islamic call to prayer being broadcast over loudspeakers in the city. This followed the swearing-in earlier this month, on the Qur’an, of course, of Paterson’s new police chief, Ibrahim “Mike” Baycora, the first Muslim police chief in an American city.
Celebrate diversity, right? Sure. The problem is that it is by no means certain that this diversity will celebrate us.

I'm getting scared, I don't think we're going to be able to stop this insanity. Too many Americans are not alarmed.

Congressman Fred Grandy and his wife alerted us that this was going to happen. They both had a radio show when I was driving into DC. CAIR got offended and got them thrown off the station. Both he and his wife warned us that was going to happen. What happened in NJ is just the beginning.

How long before the celebration of Christmas and Easter will be considered islamophobia? Wake up America. This is not the religion of peace. This is the religion of total domination disguised as diversity. As it was posted below, WE SHOULD ALL BE SCARED.

I always get a little annoyed when people misinterpret the Constitution and talk about the separation of "church and state." There is no specific rule that prevents churches from using government facilities etc. The Constitution prevents the government from promoting one single church such as the Church of England. This comes dangerously close to violating that very clause. How can any government justify playing a call to prayer over a city's loudspeakers?

Are the people of NJ daft? The only thing they need to do to see what is in store for them is to look to Great Britain. Many, many Muslims are coming here not to assimilate but to infiltrate. The worst of the bunch is the slick ones who use our laws against us. We are a free society but people who vote need to understand the motivation of many Muslims. The democrat party will embrace any group who promises them their support regardless of their motivation. Our only viable strategy against this is to never vote for a democrat for any office. They will betray us without a second thought. The democrat party has lost its way and is effectively the anti-American party and will support anti-American Muslim organizations if it means gaining power. Therefore, we must be vigilant and wise to their plans. Shut them out of politics. They cannot be trusted.

Of possible interest, in the small town where I grew up, in the 1950's, as a call to worship, several of the churches in town would ring their church bell for about a minute every Sunday morning (at 9:00 am for the church near our house if my memory serves).
The bells could clearly be heard for several blocks around the church.
Too, since no one's home was air conditioned, the sound of the bell could clearly be heard during the warm summer months when windows were open.
Then, sometime in the 1960's, someone complained about the bell from our church (a 100+ yr old Lutheran church). One complaint. Soon after, the bell was silenced.
Two years ago, the few remaining members of that church voted to turn off the lights, meld their remaining members into another church's congregation and sell the church building.
No word on what happened to that old, loud bell.

Lucky no one has to rest because they're all on Social Security Disability. Yes, transfers to that fund come from payroll deductions from our old age fund regardless what the media tells you.

Reason number 2983 not to move to New Jersey. Just wait until the infidels are awakened every day at 4 am by some muslim clown shouting the virtues of allah. Dress codes will be implemented and enforced. It's a shame, an insult and a tragedy that this happened so close to the old World Trade Center.

I was born and raised in Paterson, NJ, as well as my parents, first generation from Italy. This was a beautiful city, nicknamed the Silk City, because of the immense silk production second only to China. Many of my college friends were Syrian from the South Paterson area. Lovely, wonderful, Christian people. My mother aged 92, still lives there with my sister and refuses to leave. When I visit, I am horrified. Paterson is no better than a third world nation. The crime, filth and decay is horrifying. It is so sad because I can remember when, as a teenager, I and my friends would shop in Paterson at beautiful department stores. If this type of destruction to our society continues, we are doomed.

Hamtramck Michigan, our esteemed muslim enclave ( surrounded by the city of Detroit) was known as the Polish capitol of Michigan- has had the Call to Prayer played daily on loudspeakers since 2004. Never been there and never will visit. Because I'm a racist, you know...

Probably all those Californians moving in is the cause of this. On a more serious note we should not worry because "it will never happen here because THEY won't let it happen." And it's why we fight islam foolishness over there, so we won't have to fight them in our streets. Now have a nice day.

Anyone who believes a Practicing Muslim is a fool.
Islam is not a religion.
Islam is Government.
Muammar Gaddafi - Libya
Speech (10 April 2006), quoted in New York Sun (6 September 2009) ‘Terrorists Promise More Attacks Like 9/11’ by Steven Stalinsky;
Muammar Qaddafi - Libya
"We have 50 million Muslims in Europe. There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe—without swords, without guns, without conquest—will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades."
Qaddafi is not the only Muslim leader who believes this quote. The rest of the world seems to not believe this quote even though they can see it happening before their very eyes.
Talk about non Muslims committing SUICIDE through ignorance.
Americans and Europeans wake up to what your government political leaders are doing to your country's.
