President Joe Biden promoted his plan Tuesday to make it easier for migrants to come to the United States after meeting with the leaders of Mexico and Canada.
“This has been the greatest migration in human history around the world as well as in this hemisphere,” Biden said, speaking about the ongoing migration crisis after meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador during a summit in Mexico City.
But the president did not appear troubled by the volume of border crossings and migrants flooding into local communities in the United States, placing a burden on U.S. citizens and legal residents.

Documents with classified markings were found inside an institution at which President Joe Biden worked before he took office, according to a lawyer for the president.
The classified documents were discovered in a locked closet at the Penn Biden Center, Richard Sauber, the lawyer, told news outlets in a statement.
The documents were discovered on Nov. 2, 2022, according to Sauber, days before the midterm election. Sauber did not disclose the finding until Jan. 9, 2023.
White House lawyers alerted the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) on the day of the discovery and NARA took possession of the materials the following morning, Sauber said.

The House Oversight Committee launched a pair of investigations on Tuesday tied to President Joe Biden's handling of classified records that were recovered from an old office of his late last year.
Oversight Chairman James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, sent a pair of letters to the White House Counsel's Office and the National Archives and Records Administration, respectively, looking for more information into the matter.
The White House confirmed on Monday evening that Biden's personal attorneys found 'a small number of documents with classified markings' when clearing out the president's old office in the Penn Biden Center

A couple of centuries ago, an extraordinary group of 56 men on the eastern seaboard of our continent declared the independence of their lands. At the close of their Declaration of Independence, they further declared, “We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our scared honor.”

The Founders weren’t just being melodramatic. Had they lost the Revolutionary War, they’d have met their end at the end of a rope. The Pentagon is formally dropping a controversial COVID-19 vaccine mandate for troops, according to a memo from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
President Joe Biden signed a defense policy bill just before Christmas that included a provision cleared by the House and the Senate to repeal the administration’s military vaccine mandate. The National Defense Authorization Act terminated the COVID-19 vaccine for military members but did not reinstate those who were discharged or had their benefits cut for refusing the vaccine. Reinstatement has become a priority for some Republicans who said the strict mandate is among the reasons why military recruitment is at an all-time low.

Because of course he is. The next Republican is always worse than the last. When Trump finally leaves the scene he will be praised by the MSM as far better than the current fascist Republican who wants to people people in chains. Mitt Romney spent his pre-campaign years giving women cancer and pining to enslave black people, but now his a “good” Republican unlike today’s Republicans.

Such a move would give broad authority to Jordan, an ally of former President Trump who has railed against current and prior investigations of the former president.

A big problem Democrats and the complicit media have when it comes to the discovery of classified documents in President Joe Biden’s former office at a Washington think tank is that they set the precedent with their response to former President Donald Trump allegedly possessing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home.
Another problem they have little interest in is that the documents were at a “Chinese-funded” think tank, according to Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark.
It was on the latter note that Trump had plenty to say, with the media quick to dismiss his assertions as “wild speculation” — the odd thing about Trump’s speculations is that, over time,

As we've all learned this week, multiple news reports allege that President Biden's personal attorneys discovered Obama administration-era classified materials among his belongings at a private office, where they undoubtedly do not belong. The items were handed over to the National Archives shortly after they were allegedly uncovered in a closet during the process of packing up the space. Biden's Attorney General has referred the matter to the US Attorney in Chicago for additional scrutiny, as this episode very much appears to involve improper handling of classified information and potential unlawful conduct.

The delay caused by the radio silence from the Capitol Police Command Center was so urgent that the 22-year veteran lieutenant located near the U.S. Senate chamber forged ahead with the evacuation anyway. On Monday evening, news dropped that Joe Biden had illegally possessed classified documents he took following his vice presidency. They were stored in a closet at the Penn Biden Center (which opened in 2018) and were supposedly discovered by lawyers prior to the 2022 election. They were then reported after all the votes were cast. I’m sure that timing was purely coincidental, though.
The comparisons to Donald Trump having allegedly classified documents at Mar-a-Lago began immediately, and rightfully so. It seemed to be another case of our two-tiered justice system rearing its head, where Democrats can hold onto classified information without consequence while Republicans face the full force of the law.

Despite the low profile of the payment plan, however, some education experts see it as a more powerful tool to make college affordable, especially for those with lower incomes.

In what may be the most misleading narrative not originating with a leftist source about House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s recent trials National Review Editor-in-Chief Rich Lowry argues the Republicans’ “Fight Reveals the Party of Self-Loathing.” Although this diatribe may please some of Lowry’s sponsors, it bears no connection to what went on in the House last week.
The fact that the GOP revealed disunity does not in any way prove that “it is a party that to some significant extent loathes itself.”

President Joe Biden slammed former President Donald Trump in September on 60 Minutes as “irresponsible” for allegedly keeping classified documents at Mar-a-Lago.
“How could that possibly happen?” Biden responded in the interview about Trump’s documents at Mar-a-Lago. “How anyone could be that irresponsible?”
“And I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods?” Biden added:(Tweet/Video) Biden’s statement came four months before CBS News reported Monday that a Biden think tank had been storing ten classified documents at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington:

Columnist David Marcus wrote an opinion piece for Fox News that was published on Monday calling for the defunding of NPR after it ran a disgusting and disturbing essay by author Maia Kobabe defending the “Gender Queer” graphic novel for children which displays graphic drawings of sex acts.
“As House Republicans overcome their differences and take power in the chamber there is an issue that they should take up immediately: defunding National Public Radio. We all know that the taxpayer-funded, so-called news outlet leans farther left than a NASCAR racetrack, but this week they ran a slanderous and frankly disgusting essay by the author of the controversial graphic novel

Vice President Kamala Harris did not accompany President Joe Biden on his first border trip and has apparently not led any migration-related activity for seven months, despite being tapped as the administration’s border czar.
Biden travelled to El Paso, Texas, and had a highly controlled look at the border and a migrant center on Sunday. He spoke with local officials and federal law enforcement officials, but did not travel to see the masses of migrants sleeping on the streets in the downtown of the city.

Remember when Joe Biden said Trump was “irresponsible” for storing classified documents at Mar-a-Lago?
“How does that happen? How anyone can be that irresponsible”” Biden said on “60 Minutes” last September. “I thought, what data was in there that may compromise sources and methods? And by that, I mean, names of people who help etc., and it’s just totally irresponsible.”
WATCH: (Tweet/Video) It turns out Joe Biden stored top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” (SCIF) designation at Penn Biden Center in DC.

CNN reporter Jamie Gangel said Monday on “The Situation Room” that reports that President Joe Biden had classified documents from his time as vice president in his personal office was a political gift to former president Donald Trump.
Anchor Wolf Blitzer said, “In that ’60 Minutes’ interview Biden did on September 18, 2022 about a month or two before these classified documents were found in his private office here in Washington, he said, ‘How could this possibly happen? How anyone could be that irresponsible? That’s what he said then, and then they discovered these SCI, these very sensitive classified documents at his private office in Washington.”

Besides addressing the crisis at the southern border, there is no more urgent matter for the new Republican House majority to direct its attention to than the conversion of the federal government into a progressive cudgel against civil rights. And there is nothing less surprising than the media-Democrat complex’s determination to strangle the probe in its cradle.
In the left’s playbook, everything is either about race or Donald Trump — if not both. So as night follows day, with House Republicans poised to establish a much needed Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, Democrats and their press accomplices are framing the panel as

The 15-round vote to finally elect a speaker of the House was, we were told by the political left, an embarrassment and evidence that the Republicans are untrustworthy. It was in reality our system in action and it produced at least two important outcomes, both of which will cause discomfort for the Democrats and their communications wing known as the mainstream media.
Over the weekend, we learned that in order for Rep. Kevin McCarthy to earn their votes, the 20 holdout GOP lawmakers got a promise from the California moderate that two special investigative panels would be created. One would look into “the origins of the COVID-19 virus,”

An Old Dominion basketball player collapsed on-court during an NCAA game vs. Georgia Southern on Saturday in scary scenes.
Sophomore Imo Essien slowly fell down before trying to get it before ultimate collapsing.
It took just moments for Essien to be attended to as he lay on the Georgia Southern floor with just over 13 minutes left in the first half.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas), better known affectionately as “Eyepatch McCain” in honor of his ideological forefather, has tepidly apologized for smearing his anti-McCarthy colleagues as “terrorists.” (snip) We just can’t allow that to happen. That’s why those of us are saying like, look, you pushed us into this corner. So now we’re now we’re saying we won’t vote for anyone but McCarthy. That’s why we’re saying it, because we cannot let the terrorists win. That’s basically what’s happening.

Holy exploitation, non-binary Batperson!
Just when we thought the commies hit rock bottom by bringing their kids to drag shows, some miscreant in England said, “Hold my appletini” and took things one revolting step further: Drag Syndrome.
Drag Syndrome is exactly what you think it is but wish it wasn’t: adults with Down syndrome dancing in drag.
The digital media outlet Mashable has released a documentary about a troupe of drag queens with Down syndrome called Born To Dance With An Extra Chromosome. [Video]
My second thought when I saw this was, “who is paying to see people with Down syndrome dance in drag?”

Donald Trump on Monday led the chorus of condemnation after it emerged that Joe Biden's think tank had been found to contain classified documents.
The ten files were found in early November, by Biden's lawyers, and handed over. The Justice Department has now opened an investigation, which The New York Times said could lead to a special counsel being appointed - as has happened in the case of Donald Trump and the hundreds of documents he kept at Mar-a-Lago.
Biden on Monday was in Mexico City for a meeting with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, and refused to answer shouted questions

In his first major scheduled vote since becoming Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy has gotten a major rules package through the chamber with only one dissent in the ranks. The comprehensive set of rules puts restrictions on how funding bills can be voted on, and puts restrictions on rushing legislation through the House. The final vote was 220-213, with Texas Republican, Rep. Tony Gonzales of Texas, being the lone Republican to vote against it.
More from Fox News:
Changes to the rules package were negotiated up through the 11th hour as part of a deal to earn McCarthy the votes for the speaker. Pushing for those changes

An old-fashioned Georgia Bulldogs beatdown resulted in the most points ever scored in a national championship game, as quarterback Stetson Bennett was responsible for six touchdowns in the 65-7 win over the TCU Horned Frogs.
The win kept the national title in Athens, as the Bulldogs have won back-to-back championships. But this one was never a doubt compared to this bout with Alabama last year.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart called a timeout with 13:25 left in the fourth quarter, with his Bulldogs up 52-7, to allow Bennett a curtain call as he was done for the night. Smiling, Bennet hugged Smart and many of his teammates,
