Since oil/coal and natural gas are all bad, bad, bad, they better start building nuke power plants to power those electric stoves.

Please. They can claim it's for consumer "protection" but it's really for the War on Fossil Fuels. Good. Some of the best war stories are when the HQ gets overrun and the cooks have to get involved. Keep pressing, wokesters. Keep alienating the working class. The workers are starting to understand that the War on Fossil Fuels is a war on them.

It is much harder to control the temperature on an electric stove. Any serious cook will tell you that gas is better.

Gas stoves are best, no doubt. And they are 100% efficient, delivering all the energy in the gas, as it was taken out of the ground to the burner. Taking gas or coal and converting it to electricity throws away literally 2/3 of the energy to make it into the "advanced form" called electricity. Because it is so wasteful of our resources, electricity should NEVER be used when gas can do the job, since it triples the use of the primary energy source. So - not only is gas more easily controlled for the cook, it uses literally 1.3 the energy of electricity, when you look at the whole picture. Electricity should be for motors and lights, which gas doesn't do easily or well, never for heat.

As always, if a conservative is afraid of gas stoves, he buys an electric one and gets on with his life. If a lie-beral is afraid of gas stoves, they must be banned "for the greater good and safety of society". California’s SB 1327 went into effect on January 1, 2023, allowing private residents in the state to file suits against gun manufacturers who violate the state’s “assault weapons” ban or ban on gun sales to anyone under 21. The Los Angeles Times reported that supporters of the new law view the lawsuit option as a way of “enlisting an army of grass-roots enforcers” to safeguard the state’s “assault weapons” ban and minimum age requirement. SB 1327 was passed in reaction to the Texas heartbeat law, which allows abortionists to be sued for terminating pregnancies beyond six weeks of pregnancy.

Democrats claimed the Inflation Reduction Act would help ordinary Americans, but new analysis suggests people making less than $400,000 a year could end up paying $20 billion of the new tax revenue it brings in. President Joe Biden signed the act into law in August, injecting $473 billion of new spending on climate and healthcare, yet there are strong concerns it will do little to reduce inflation. In fact, middle class Americans will pay new taxes - directly contradicting Biden's promise to not raise penalties on people earning under $400,000.  Republicans continue to criticize the bill, claiming it will lead to taxes on ordinary Americans and do little to help reduce soaring costs.
