Former President Donald Trump called for an investigation into the FBI and “powerful corporations” for “systematically colluding” to advance a “censorship regime” in a video posted to Rumble Wednesday.
“The now-famous Twitter Files have proven beyond all doubt that the corrupt officials at the FBI have been coordinating a massive censorship, surveillance and propaganda campaign against the American people and, frankly, against me,” Trump said in the video posted on Rumble. “In the most recent and notorious example, the FBI worked to stop the truth from being told about the Biden family’s criminality.”

Here’s something that will leave a bad taste in peoples’ mouths. Gov. Hochul quietly snuck a proposal to outlaw new gas stoves into the “New York Housing Compact” she unveiled during her State of the State speech Tuesday — urging people to ditch their kitchens’ gas grills and go electric. The ban would affect old-timers and millennials who are obsessed with cast-iron pans that are tricky to use on electric stoves. CORRECTION*

A group of black Americans settled their lawsuits against two United States farms for their having replaced them with foreign workers from South Africa that were imported on H-2A visas.
As Breitbart News reported in November 2021, a number of black Americans along the Mississippi Delta filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against their former employers — Pitts Farms and Harris Russell Farms — for laying them off only to replace them with white foreign H-2A visa workers from South Africa.

“The View” co-host Joy Behar said Tuesday that President Joe Biden, unlike former President Donald Trump, deserves the “benefit of the doubt” in regards to allegations he removed classified material to a non-secure location.
Biden’s personal attorneys said they stumbled across the documents while packing files in a private office and notified the National Archives and Records Administration, CNN reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter.

Joe Biden on Tuesday delivered remarks with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Mexico City.
The three leaders met for the annual North America Leaders Summit.
The tensions were front and center when Biden and López Obrador met on Monday, with the Mexican president complaining of “abandonment” and “disdain” for Latin America.
But as they closed Tuesday’s summit in Mexico City with a joint news conference, the leaders offered an optimistic outlook.
“We’re true partners the three of us,” said Biden, adding that they had “genuine like” for one another. “We share a common vision for the future, grounded on common values.”

The University of Southern California (USC) Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will no longer use the world “field” in its curriculum or its practices as part of its anti-racist framework, according to an email reportedly sent Monday.
The school reportedly stripped the word from use due to alleged ties to “anti-Black” and “anti-immigrant” rhetoric, according to the email sent by the Practicum Education Department to the campus community, faculty, staff and students. The school informed that the word “practicum” would be used instead to “ensure [its] use of inclusive language and practice.”

Several Senate Democrats may be considering retiring rather than facing a potentially bruising 2024 re-election campaign.
While Democrats performed better than expected in the 2022 midterm elections, the 2024 election cycle — where Democrats will be defending seats in several battleground states — could have a far different outcome.
In what could be the first of many similar announcements, Michigan Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow announced last week she will not seek re-election in 2024. Stabenow's decision to conclude her decades-long Senate career in 2025 provides Republicans with a pickup opportunity.

A customer shot and killed a suspected robber at a Mexican restaurant in Houston late Thursday night, officials said.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened at The Ranchito #4 around 11:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police that a man in a ski mask entered the restaurant and pointed a pistol at customers, demanding their money. As the suspect collected money, one of the customers pulled out his own gun and shot the suspect multiple times, killing him, police said.
The shooter then retrieved all the stolen money from the robber and returned the money to the other customers before fleeing the scene.

Attorney General Merrick Garland tapped a Trump-appointed U.S. attorney to investigate the discovery of classified documents at a pro-Biden think tank Monday.
John Lausch, the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, was appointed by former President Donald Trump in November 2017. Lausch will investigate the discovery of a batch of documents found at the offices of the Penn Biden Center, some of which were marked classified, a source with knowledge of the matter told Fox News Digital.

As China battles an unprecedented COVID surge, nearly 90% of Henan — the third-most populous province — has been infected with the virus, a top health official said Monday.
Kan Quancheng, director of the health commission for central Henan province, said that as of Jan. 6, the infection rate was 89%.
With Henan’s population being about 99.4 million, the data would suggest that 88.5 million residents have been positive for COVID.
