PHOENIX — An arrest has been made in the burglary of the campaign office of Arizona gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs, authorities said Thursday. Daniel Mota Dos Reis, 36, is accused of breaking into an office at the location of Hobbs’ Phoenix headquarters on Monday at about 7 p.m. and stealing multiple items, according to a probable cause statement. A patrol officer on Wednesday recognized Dos Reis from surveillance images and said the suspect had been arrested earlier in the day for a separate burglary. (snip) There is no evidence to tie the burglary to Lake. Lake, during a Thursday afternoon press conference, said a defamation lawsuit is possible.

At newspapers, obituaries are typically written in advance. The Washington Post had plenty to work with when the death of Lucianne Goldberg happened, but instead of remembering good, or at least balancing their summary, they selectively chose to remember the great muse of the right, Internet pioneer, and accomplished woman from a time when women weren't allowed much accomplishment, by printing only cherry-picked tales of dubious sourcing that made her look phony. It was garbage. It stood in stark contrast to the insightful and warm-hearted tweets that overwhelmingly were the consensus on Twitter, from wildly different parts of the Internet spectrum.

The graphic, which appeared Thursday afternoon on FOX 10 Phoenix at the bottom left-hand part of the screen, showed Hobbs with 53% support compared to 47% for Republican nominee Kari Lake. Hobbs, who is currently Arizona's secretary of state, had a check by her number, indicating she was the victor. At first, they tried to scrub the video from the internet but we have a copy!

According to a statement from the CHC, Flores will not be allowed to join the group due to bylaws that state the CHC is for only Democratic members of Congress. Not that it mattered, since the mainstream press wouldn’t have covered it no matter what. But in this case, the numbers are shocking. The reality is even more shocking. DHS’s Customs and Border Protection agency finally, after basically being forced into it, reported that it had “encountered” almost 2.8 million illegal border crossers in the past fiscal year (which ended Sept. 30). It’s like a common cold, but it does hit younger children and it’s really frightening,” Hochul stated. “It’s not new at all.
