MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough bought the propaganda from an October 26, 2022, New York Times anti-gun piece, tweeting unfounded criticism of Gov. Greg Abbott (R) as a result.
On October 26, 2022, the NYT ran an article titled, “Texas Goes Permitless on Guns, and Police Face an Armed Public.”
The gist of the piece asserted Texas has become more dangerous because of permitless carry, i.e., constitutional carry. However, the text of the article contains information from various sources that actually counter that claim.
Although the NYT article states it has been a year since Texas adopted constitutional carry, it is written in a way that someone could read it and assume

Joe is both ignorant and stupid, two separate disabilities which work together to make him a laughingstock all too frequently.
As in ALL OTHER states with Constitutional Carry, Texas has had absolutely NO problems since this recognition of the proper intent of the 2nd Amendment, well over a year ago.
NYT are propagandists, Scarborough is a fool, Texas is safer now than it was before the recognition of this constitutional right.

The Constitution is neither conservative or radical. It’s just a mystery to those who don’t understand what it says. Talking heads and politicians who push ‘gun control’ are advocating for only criminals to have weapons.

Re #7, not just advocating for criminals. They are worried that as they steadily remove our rights, at some point we may still have the means to fight back effectively against their thugs.

More proof that Joe is a moron and a sloppy "reporter" who doesn't care about facts. The slur is more important.
