More than a quarter of that supply–enough to make 13 million bottles–has already been delivered as of June 19, according to a statement from the US Department of Human Services. Xavier Becerra, secretary of the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services, called the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. According to Becerra, HHS is “keeping all options on the table” and “has been preparing for this for some time.” Becerra stopped short of saying the department would participate in mailing abortion pills to states where the procedure is outlawed, but told reporters to “stay tuned” on that front. U.S. law prohibits federal dollars from directly funding abortion.

Jose Zendejas, 25, and Benito Madrigal, 19, were arrested during a traffic stop in Tulare County last Friday when authorities allegedly discovered the 150,000 pills—worth an estimated $750,000—stashed inside their vehicle. The pair was immediately booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility on charges of possession, transportation and sales of illegal drugs. But Zendejas and Madrigal were released from custody on their own recognizance just days later after a judge granted them a court order.

Believe it or not, overturning Roe v. Wade may not be the Supreme Court’s most dramatic decision this year. Instead, its ruling on West Virginia v. the Environmental Protection Agency could prove far more consequential. It could literally upend how our government works. For the better. West Virginia vs. the EPA asks whether important policies that impact the lives of all Americans should be made by unelected D.C. bureaucrats or by Congress. This SCOTUS could well decide that ruling by executive agency fiat is no longer acceptable. [snip] it may decide in West Virginia vs. EPA that Congress, and not federal agencies, should write our laws.

Bruen was a landmark case that struck down the Empire State’s justifiable need clause in their carry law. It also affirmed that American citizens have the right to carry outside the home for self-defense. It was the worst week ever for liberals as they had to deal with this ruling and the overturning of Roe w. Wade the next day in the Dobbs case. So, how does the Left deal with an expansion of civil rights?
