Believe it or not, overturning Roe v. Wade may not be the Supreme Court’s most dramatic decision this year. Instead, its ruling on West Virginia v. the Environmental Protection Agency could prove far more consequential. It could literally upend how our government works.
For the better.
West Virginia vs. the EPA asks whether important policies that impact the lives of all Americans should be made by unelected D.C. bureaucrats or by Congress. This SCOTUS could well decide that ruling by executive agency fiat is no longer acceptable. [snip] it may decide in West Virginia vs. EPA that Congress, and not federal agencies, should write our laws.

Fox News has gone total CommuNazi. Get rid of the EPA, one of the most fascist of government departments, rivaled only by the IRS & FBI.
Boycott Fox.

RE #3. They talk a lot about ignoring, but they aren't actually going to be able to do it.

It's about time the balance of power was restored. Way too much power has been exercised by the executive branch. All done with gutless Republicans doing little to stop it.

Maybe the Supreme Court - - or someone - - ANYONE - - will some day ask the communist "climatologists" to produce the scientifically-gathered, statistically-significant data - - which proves their Gullible Warmist/Climate Change delusions.
The commies have always SAID that Gullible Warming/Climate Change exist - - but they've never supplied a scrap of data to prove it. If only the Pubbies weren't brain dead - - they'd challenge the commies to put up - - or shut up!

I was hoping the SCOTUS would announce they've decided to take the case of Texas suing the 5 treacherous battleground states, over their part in the stolen election coup.

I did not even hear about this case until I read this article.
This is FAR more important than the Abortion squabble.
But, in the 1970's as now, the Media goes into orgasmic overdrive every time thy have the opportunity to mention abortion. Notice how the Dobbs draft was leaked just hours before the '2000 Mules' movie was released. The media had their usual orgasm over the Dobbs leak, and studiously ignored the much more important '2000 Mules' story of one facet the Democ'RAT's election theft.
The so-called mainstream media is completely corrupt, and has been since at least 1968.
To me, the turning point was their corrupt coverage of the Tet battles in Vietnam. Our soldiers won that series of battles, but the Media portrayed it as a Communist victory, and the media coverage has sided with the Communists -and any Leftist group that worked to weaken and destroy America- ever since.

This case may really decide whether we are going to be freezing in the dark or not. Central power stations need carbon fuels, whether that is coal, natural gas or oil.
Windmills, solar panels and unicorn flatulence will not keep the lights on and the blower for your furnace running.
This should be a hugely important ruling, moving things back to the states and limiting the power of the bureaucrats to endlessly embroider and expand their power.

Scalia - "We expect Congress to speak clearly if it wishes to assign to an agency decisions of vast ‘economic and political significance."
YES! Part of that clarity should be a fixed budget and clear goals and even general methods. If more money is required, Congress needs an explanation and needs to vote to approve it. You could even authorize a bipartisan (50/50) committee to approve up to 10% cost overruns to minimize bogging down Congress with petty management.
Hopefully one of the possible excellent outcomes would be that Congress decides it is too burdensome to interfere in what should be privately handled issues. Also too politically costly because they could be held accountable for their votes to approve.
Also important is a cap on private costs to implement support for government programs. For example, if it is expected that private costs to manage the needs of a government program will exceed $10M in total, they must be called out and approved as part of a bill. If the costs balloon, they must be approved by Congress. Otherwise the program is STOPPED. The government plays games by transferring implementation costs to business. That should be stopped. Maybe any such monies should be counted against taxes due.

I have mentioned that this case is coming soon, and it will likely blow up the leftist's DC Central Planning Control Forever ideas even more than they have been blown up in the last few days.
I think that there will be a lot more ecocrazies' tear and hysteria coming soon.
