Fake News: 'Another Embarrassing Effort

The DeSantis campaign this week debunked fake news touted by the establishment media, describing the attempt as yet another “embarrassing effort to distract from Democrat failures.” The corporate media is continuing in its consistent efforts to drive a false wedge between Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R). Both DeSantis and Trump have already thoroughly debunked establishment media rumors of infighting and tension. The latest attempt involves an anonymous source quoted by Politico. The individual, described as a “Republican consultant familiar with DeSantis’ thinking,” told the outlet that DeSantis views the January 6 hearings — which less than ten percent of Americans are following “very closely” — as “a way to eventually get Trump indicted,”

A senior source very close to the management at Politico - - tells me that the entire website is full of crap. Another highly placed source - - with inside knowledge of Politico's operations - - also told me that the website completely sucks. What's more - - an authoritative person who has longtime connections to the top decision makers at Politico - - tells me that they're a bunch of lying commies. In addition - - an intimate friend of a senior person on Politico's editorial board - - asserts that aside from being lying commies - - Politico's managers are all corrupt sleazebags. Another person who is fully briefed on the inside machinations at Politico - - tells me - - - - - - - - - -

if you're a republican politician and you're doing a good job, the kind that the "people" like, you'll know it because the demcommies will attack you with a vengeance and won't let up until they run out of ink or air time, just like they're doing to Ron DeSantis and did and are still doing to President Trump

Folks... Trump and DeSantis cannot run together in 2024... Here is your 2024 ticket: Trump/Lake (gov. of Arizona)... if President Trump declares in 2023, Ron isn't going to run against him. They are blood brothers and DeSantis knows he would make a major mistake to run against the Lion of the Republican party.

Ben & Jerry’s will continue to be sold in Israel and the West Bank, after the Israeli franchise came to an agreement with the ice cream maker’s parent company Unilever following a year of legal battling over a settlement boycott, the two sides announced on Wednesday. Israel and its supporters hailed the decision as a major victory against the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Unilever has sold its Ben & Jerry’s business interests in Israel to Avi Zinger, the Israeli manufacturer and distributor of the brand, who will now be independent. Zinger and his company, American Quality Products (AQP), has also acquired the exclusive rights to the Ben & Jerry’s

NATO formally invited Sweden and Finland to join the alliance Wednesday at a summit in Madrid, Spain, in the midst of security concerns due to the Russia-Ukraine war. The announcement comes after Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan lifted his veto after a weeks-long stalemate over the negotiations. The decision will now rely on final ratification from all 30 member states. “The accession of Finland and Sweden will make them safer, NATO stronger, and the Euro-Atlantic area more secure. The security of Finland and Sweden is of direct importance to the Alliance, including during the accession process,” NATO said in a statement.

Washington - The Supreme Court on Wednesday backed Oklahoma's years long struggle for jurisdiction over certain crimes that take place on Native American land, a decision with implications for prosecutions of other crimes on Native territory. The 5-4 decision comes two years after the nation's highest court handed down a ruling that vastly expanded what is considered Native territory in Oklahoma. Though Oklahoma officials had asked the Supreme Court to overturn that recent ruling, the high court declined to consider that request when it agreed to hear the case in January. Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote the majority opinion. Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote a dissent

Businessman Joe O’Dea beat state Rep. Ron Hanks for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. O’Dea will face Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet this fall. O’Dea thanked his supporters, calling Tuesday “not such a good night to be a Democratic super PAC.” Hanks was buoyed with an ad buy from a left-wing super PAC that touted Hanks’ conservative credentials. Mailers were also sent to Republican voters before the primary boosting Hanks, but did not include information required by the FEC on who was paying for and distributing the flier. “And now we have it, the election Michael Bennet didn’t want,” O’Dea said. As we previously reported, the Jan. 6 Committee called a special hearing on Tuesday, after previously saying they weren’t going to have any more hearings until July. Now, I’m calling them “hearings” because that’s the general term being used. But they’re not really “hearings” as we normally understand a government hearing. These are completely controlled events with a set agenda–trying to smear President Donald Trump and Republicans–that have nothing at all to do with a search for the truth or any regard at all for objectivity or truth. But the reason I wanted to mention this hearing is because of the “big” news that they think they had for the hearing

Madrid/Helsinki - NATO ally Turkey lifted its veto over Finland and Sweden's bid to join the Western alliance on Tuesday after the three nations agreed to protect each other's security, ending a weeks-long drama that tested allied unity against Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The breakthrough came after four hours of talks just before a NATO summit began in Madrid, averting an embarrassing impasse at the gathering of 30 leaders that aims to show resolve against Russia, now seen by the U.S.-led alliance as a direct security threat rather than a possible adversary. It means Helsinki and Stockholm can proceed with their application to join the nuclear-armed alliance, cementing

In case you were too busy caring about things that actually matter to notice, the January 6th committee is back in session. That came after its members announced an “emergency” hearing for Tuesday, including the inclusion of a “surprise” witness. Now, you’d think going through such pomp and circumstance meant they came across some damning new evidence proving their assertion that Donald Trump organized an insurrection. But if you thought that, you thought wrong. Rather, Tuesday’s hearing was another ridiculous parade of absurdity, full of hearsay and no hard evidence of essentially anything. Yet, one claim by a woman named Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Mark Meadows aide, truly took the cake.
