ROME — Catholic League president Bill Donohue slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Wednesday for politicizing the Eucharist by receiving Communion at the Vatican.
Pelosi, “who rejects the Catholic Church’s teachings on abortion, marriage and sexuality, received Holy Communion on June 29 at a papal Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica,” Dr. Donohue noted. “The pope was in attendance, but did not give out Communion.”
“Pelosi’s stunt was done to undercut her bishop, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone: he has told her not to present herself for Communion, citing her lust for abortion rights,” Donohue added.

Rep. Lauren Boebert survived a primary challenge from state Sen. Don Coram in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District Tuesday night, The Associated Press reported.
The Colorado Republican handily defeated Coram, a moderate who has been known to reach across the aisle during his time as a GOP state senator, according to the AP. During the campaign Coram blasted Boebert for being “a right-wing celebrity pundit rather than a representative of the people she is paid to represent,” Newsweek reported.

Meghan Markle has urged men to be 'more vocal' with their anger at the repealing of Roe v. Wade, as she revealed that Prince Harry's response to the news on Friday was 'guttural'.
The Duchess of Sussex, 40, spoke to Vogue magazine in conversation with author and activist Gloria Steinem, 88, and journalist Jessica Yellin.
Steinem declared the day after Friday's ruling that she would welcome women traveling to New York for an abortion into her own Manhattan home.
She said that her husband was a feminist, and he reacted with anger to the Supreme Court's decision.

Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 in prison Tuesday for her role in helping powerful pedophile Jeffrey Epstein abuse young girls, capping off a dramatic fall from grace for the British socialite turned-convicted sex-trafficker.
US District Judge Alison Nathan said the sentence of 240 months was “sufficient and no graver than necessary,” for Maxwell, who earlier addressed the court and told her victims, “I am sorry for the pain that you experienced.” “I hope my conviction and harsh incarceration brings you pleasure,” said Maxwell, wearing blue jail scrubs, her dark brown locks cut in a bob.

For the last 18 months or so since the Capitol riot, Republicans have been treated to a chorus of hypocritical lectures from Democrats, their NeverTrump allies, and the mainstream media about how it is unconscionable and un-American to “disrespect our sacred institutions” and “undermine our democracy” by doing things Democrats have done in the past like question election results.
Not surprisingly, those “rules” magically fly right out the window when these same Democrats are hit with election results they don’t like or a judicial ruling on which they don’t agree,

A federal appeals court has breathed new life into a lawsuit brought by a London-based academic against one of the FBI's confidential informants during the Russia collusion probe, litigation that is likely to focus new attention on the quality of evidence that led the bureau to investigate former President Donald Trump and his cohorts during the 2016 election.
There has been a flurry of new legal activity this month in Svetlana Lokhova's lawsuit in federal court in Virginia against former FBI confidential human source Stefan Halper since the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals concluded U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema abused her authority in dismissing the lawsuit a year ago.

In the weeks leading up to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on abortion, following the leaked draft in May, many women took to social media to let men know that if Roe were overturned, the habit of casual hookup sex would end.
“In case you’re a man who doesn’t care about roe v wade just know that if abortion gets banned hookup culture will be absolutely decimated,” TikTok user @moneymollusk wrote in a video, which has received more than 1.2 million views in a single day.
“What women would have mediocre sex with a drunk rando if he could potentially father their child,” she continued,

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned the monumental Roe v. Wade case that legalized abortion across the America.
The 6-3 decision on Friday followed the early May leak of a draft opinion indicating which way the justices would rule. That leak prompted protesting across the nation, particularly in Washington, D.C. as well as dozens of attacks and vandalism of pro-life organizations, centers, and churches.
Overturning of the landmark 1973 case came in the decision on Dobbs v.s. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a challenge to a Mississippi law greatly restricting the federal right to abortion

Seven people involved in the production of the late-night anti-Trump “comedy” show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert were arrested Thursday by U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) in the Longworth House Office Building. They had been in another building in the afternoon trying to interview members of the Jan. 6 Committee. They were told to leave earlier and were escorted out during the day but took it upon themselves to return to the building. They had help getting back in.
We are still not sure how many members of the USCP have cried over this seditious attack against American democracy.

Nine staffers and producers for the Stephen Colbert Show were arrested at the U.S. Capitol for attempting to breaking into a House building after-hours. Fox News’ Chad Pergram confirmed the news on Friday.
“Fox confirms that group of persons associated with The Late Show Stephen Colbert were arrested last night and charged with illegal entry to House office buildings after hours,” Pergram wrote on Twitter. “Fox is told the people were arrested in the Longworth House Office Building.” “The group was in the Cannon House Office Building earlier in the day trying to get interviews around the time of the 1/6 committee hearing,” Pergram continued.
